Re: Party like a rock star! (Sangue and DC )
Temperance had not been social much since her return. After seeing the brief message she thought it was about time the allurist test her willpower and mingle with a familiar bunch, that's if they remember who she was and accepting of where she still has roots. She thumbed through the closet of her apartment and slipped into the simplest v-back black velvet dress.
Dark Eden was a rather large club, much larger than The Metronome and with many pleasantries to different club types. Temperance had not frequented the bar often, but it was mostly because the academy had taken great focus to develop. Temperance had great respect for the Sangue family and even still for a few formerly known as Sangue.
Temperance followed the quick exist between joining apartments, made way out of Ivy towers, and took the short walk to the club. It was not long after arrival, Elizabeth caught her eye. The women grinned and made way to greet her.

Re: Party like a rock star! (Sangue and DC )
Jessica knew that she probably looked like crap. Not having your own proper reflection made makeup and hair choices a bit chaotic. The woman she saw in the mirror had slimmer cheekbones, a longer nose, and pointier chin than her own, and she was back to her former cherubic face. Rounded jawline, petite nose, full lips.
"I hate you," she told the woman in the mirror, who only smirked, her eyes filled with a cruel gleam that Jessica knew hadn't been there during her proper life.
The red dress had been hiding in the back of her closet, waiting, just waiting to be worn, its heated shade and open back clearly inappropriate for Canadian weather. But she didn't care. The cold didn't fully affect her, and it was about ******* time she showed off her body again.
Maybe she could have a bit of fun on the side, too.
"That's going too far," the woman in the mirror, still nameless to Jessica, said. They hadn't exactly introduced themselves when the mystic had so rudely invaded her living body and killed her. "You don't deserve any enjoyment! It should be me."
"Oh, just shut up," Jessica said, straightening the ruched fabric against her skin, feeling for the black bar straps that led to the zipper, revealing clear skin. "You probably would've died anyway, some fucked up vampire's dinner. You should be thanking me." She walked out of the bathroom then, settling into one of the folding chairs and buckling her red velvet heels with nails she'd painted a bright metallic gold just a few days prior.
Her hair had been the trickiest part. Having found a photograph she thoroughly enjoyed, she'd simply had to do her hair in just that same way for this Sangue party. Without a mirror, the braiding and pinning had been very fun, and the woman whose body had become Jessica's hadn't helped at all. In fact, she'd almost messed it up three times. Finally, though, she had the hairstyle in place. It wasn't made for going to a nightclub, but it worked for her purpose.
She was dressed to kill, even without a single bit of makeup. Not even foundation.
Smoothing the hair on the left side of her skull, the side without a braid, she checked that she had everything she needed in her clutch, the only black item she wore. Then she closed her eyes and envisioned a place she'd been only once. Dark Eden.
She'd still been human then. It'd been her first week in the area, even.
But she didn't want to remember that, and a moment later, she was across the street from the nightclub. She took a deep breath and crossed the street, ignoring the people staring at her, before she slid through the door and toward the bar. That was where most people would be.

Corin smiles at Knyte and takes his arm. "Dark Eden and we can take my car if you want though I love walking and it is not that far to a transit then the club." She walks with him the night air making her hair blow around her face and behind her. Soon they make it to Dark Eden and Corin speaks to the door man. "I am Corin Diechi and this is my date. I have an invite for the party tonight." She shows the invite to the door man and then they go inside. She looks around to see if anyone is there yet that she knows. Not seeing anyone just yet she holds Knyte's hand.

Re: Party like a rock star! (Sangue and DC )
Lost in her thoughts, Alexandrea made sure to sip on her drink slowly. Unlike other Allurists she seemed to be more susceptible to alcohol and other mind altering things these days. She blamed the time Serenity had held her in captivity on enough drugs to kill an elephant for the change. Alex was distracted by her memories for awhile but was doing her best to let go of the past and embrace her future. 'What will be, will be.' She reminded herself and tried to focus on the music.
For a split second she got defensive as she felt an arm go around her but the male's scent was familiar one, one of family. Relaxing into the friendly gesture, she looked up at her 'sibling' Kayden as he spoke.
"Kayden. It is really good to see you." She spoke softly and gave him a quick hug. "I was hoping you might be here, we don't seem to get to talk that often." Alexandrea's gut told her that she wasn't the only one feeling blue but she didn't want to pry and held her empathic gifts in check. It was getting more easy all the time to resist snooping in other peoples emotions and mind her own business.
But she could tell he also needed cheering up and helping Kayden to have some fun would go a long way to brightening her own mood. So she linked arms with him and gave him a playful wink. "I'm in a mood to have some fun. Would you like to shot some pool or share a dance or two?" A genuine smile came easily to her face and lit up her eyes.
Out of the corner of Alex's eye, she thought she saw Temperance come in. She had missed the head of the Society of Allurists and was very pleased to see her here. The women looked as if she was heading towards someone but Alexandrea couldn't see who through the crowd so she just sent a gentle message to the other Allurist.
*Hello, Tempy! Long time no see. I hope we can get a chance to catch up a little before you leave.*

'What Qs?' Alexandrea almost replied, their bloodline was all but non-existent. But she bit her tongue and gave the other vampire a warm smile. He and her hadn't had as much interaction as Alex would have liked but in an odd way she thought of him as her 'big brother'. Having known he was also in Deux Corbeaux had made her that much more happy to have been adopted into that family by Elizabeth.Kayden wrote:"Don't look down beautiful, we Q's have a rep to uphold at these shindigs yanno?"

Mortll tossed the keys to her baby to the attendant at the club. She had been here many nights and they knew her well. She took her escorts by the arms one on each side they would make a tasty snack for later. She watched as the black sleek car disappeared into the parking area. They took good care of it just as they would have one of Wolfs or Scorpias cars. The humans on her arms had been hand picked they knew the club scene and were well familiar with the goings on at Dark Eden thay never asked questions just went for the good time and party, that is what Mortll really needed tonight was relief from all the work she had dug herself into lately. She found her self leading the men to the dance floor. DC and Sangue in one club this should be a interesting night .

"Careful!"
"I am!"
Zodiac watched Jennifer nervously as the pair of them were carefully filling bottles with the finished brew. "This stuff is totally toxic, you know." she warned the girl.
"Who the hell wants stuff like this and why are you making it for them?"
"Hey, no worries. It's heading out of the country, I know that much. Be sure to wipe the bottles good for prints before slipping them into the crates and NO literature for us in any of them."
"ZO!"
"Hey! A stack of bills that almost reached seven digits is hard to ignore!" the mystic whined. "Now hurry up! I got a party to go to!"
"I can't hurry and be careful at the same time!"
"Woman!"
"Terrorist!"
"*****!"
"Money whore!"
"You sure don't mind when the bonuses roll in!" Zodiac gestured at the new keys hanging on Jennifer's key chain. "How's the car doing for ya?" as she did so, a few drops of the potion fell onto the floor from the ladle in her hand. Both women stared at the spot on the floor that was already smoking away.
"Ermmm, Is that okay?"
"DUCK!" Zodiac shouted. Both women took refuge behind the bench as a small explosion echoed through the work room. They peeked over and saw a sizable hole with a perfect view of the 'Purple Parlor' downstairs. "I told you to be careful!"
"ME? You the one waving the ladle around!"
"Only because you insist on arguing with me!"
"Only because you insist on making weapons of mass destruction."
"Wench!"
"Warmonger!"
Zodiac laid the ladle down carefully, and then tackled her assistant.

Re: Party like a rock star! (Sangue and DC )
The woman sat at the bar, having ordered the drink that had been named after her by Wolfgang and Scorpia themselves. She of course couldn't drink it, but the woman rather enjoyed the yellowish tinge of alcohol in the dainty glass.
Her blue hues swept the width of the bar, looking for familiar faces. Slowly, one by one, she saw those she was familiar with. Mostly, those in her family and those she knew in passing from a few encounters in the city. Kayden was spotted as he made his way to the bar, further away than she had anticipated. While she sat towards the middle of the room and bar, Kayden seemed content on working the side of the bar that was closest to the door. It seemed as if perhaps he was avoiding her and that caused a small frown to cross her features before the woman spotted Alexandrea. When a wave was offered to her, the woman waved back, her frown disappearing in to a large smile before Elizabeth edged the drink away from her and towards the opposite side of where she sat.
When Temperance arrived, Elizabeth rose from the stool she had claimed and made her way to the woman. It had been far too long in Elizabeth's mind and while some would have perhaps thought the worst of things in regards to Temperance and her lack of involvement in city and familial affairs, Elizabeth knew better. She of course had at least half a million questions for Temperance, but this was neither the time, nor the place and so when Elizabeth finally stood in front of perhaps the only Allurist she felt completely comfortable around, Elizabeth threw her arms around Temperance and gave her a large hug. "I am most pleased you decided to come out this evening. You look, lovely, as always." It was at this time Elizabeth spotted Scorpia from the corner of her eyes and a small laugh escaped her lips. "Even if we may be perhaps a tad bit overdressed." Not knowing Scorpia as well as she should have, Elizabeth realized this event was more casual than anything. Not that it particularly mattered, for the woman would have worn a dress regardless.
"Have you tried a Golden Tulip?" Elizabeth's attention went back to the bar as she looped an arm around Temperance's arm, a smile still upon her lips. When Corin appeared, Elizabeth gave her a wave as well, then nudged her head over to the bar where she was adamant on moving to, so Temperance cold have a drink on her.

Why are you taking me through troubled waters, I asked? Because your enemies cannot swim, he replied.

Re: Party like a rock star! (Sangue and DC )
The gloved hand placed the brake into its place before climbing down and out of the carriage. It was not nearly as often that she parked behind the shop and went in the back to search for her sire, Zodiac, or for Jenn. Truth be told she somewhat missed the early days when she first arrived to Harper Rock. Stepping into the back and closing the door behind her she felt it all the more. Her apron would hang on the hook that she just passed and her keys would be beneath the cash drawer. She would punch in just to the left of the stock room at the time clock. That is usually when she would pull her hair back and pull out some bookworm glasses that really did nothing to improve her perfect eye sight nor her youthful appearance.
The golden haired telepath glanced down at her Victorian-era influenced riding dress with the complimenting plumed velvet hat perched on top of her head. Some changes were a good thing. She was grown and a businessperson on her way following in her sires footsteps. A subtle shrug of her shoulders was followed by the progression of her foot steps towards the inside of the shop where she could hear the uncharacteristic sounds of some scuffling? A brow shot up as she lifted up her skirt moving in a faster pace hunting for the source. Rounding the corner and getting view of the stairs she looks up and hears a thud followed by rolling? This never happened when she worked for Zodiac. there was the time that gun greeted her in the face when she first started but the woman turned out to be a friend of Zodiac's. Ever since then Iris was in great shape. Now she was running upward not wasting a moment following the purple carpeting to see what possibly could be going on in her sires shop.
Reaching the door she attempted to turn the knob and found it locked. Her cornflower-blue orbs rolled to the ceiling then she pulled off her black leather gloves she neglected to earlier upon entering. She wiggled her shoulders back and lifted her chin and like anyone else with the power to enter where otherwise not invited she did just that. In the room where the ruckus was now visible she tossed her gloves on the nearest flat surface and found what appeared to be her sires legs and Jenn's fire-red locks tumbling with the sounds of a no holds barred fight going on.
"Ladies!" Iris protested with her pale hands fitted firmly at each curve of her hips. She stomped her button up leather boot clad foot on the floor and raised her voice. "LADIES!"
Finding no response as the fight continued she was left with no choice. Jenn did not need to see the numerous options Iris had at her disposal in breaking it up. She was a woman who opted for a hands on approach and set to that task with a nearby broom in hand. Curling her hand around it just like baseball bat she tightened up her grip and took an attention getting swat at each backside as it came to view in the tumbling. When that served little distraction she swatted even harder.
"That is enough!" Again she took aim and swung but this time it was enough to send the end of the broom off the dowel. "I..." She growled as she swatted again on the backs of the legs that went over the other body. "...said ENOUGH!" She looked around and found a water pitcher next to a tray of new plants. She dropped the dowel and clasped the pitcher in her hand and sent the water over both of the women hoping that cooled the tempers down.

Re: Party like a rock star! (Sangue and DC )
Zodiac kept pulling her punches. Knowing a solid blow from a 'weak' vampire such as she was could seriously hurt the mortal Jennifer.
Jennifer, however, had no qualms trying to knock her boss' lights out.
"That the best you got? I have been hit by meaner powder puffs!"
"Then try this power puff!" Jennifer threw a haymaker that missed by mile.
"Oh wench, please! Blossom you are so NOT!"
Zodiac heard Iris behind them but ignored her as she tried to trap the squirming Jennifer. The swats of the broom was nothing to her and she cackled as Jennifer eeped and complained about being hit.
The ice cold water, however was another matter.
The pair separated and looked up at the girl standing there looking oh so perfectly Victorian and smug.
"You..........," Jennifer hissed as she wiped the water from her face, slowly getting to her feet. "Self centered, prim and proper, pole stuck up you ***, Mary Poppins wannabe ..... Strumpet!" She charged, catching Iris totally off guard and taking her down to the floor. Zodiac was unsure if to laugh or panic as the two rolled around on the floor. Jennifer's back hit the table where the processed bottles of potion sat-suddenly wobbling dangerously. The mystic jumped up and wrapped the bottles in her embrace while she kicked at the two of them with one foot.
"Other room, OTHER ROOM!" she shouted in their heads as she carried the bottles of liquid doom to the storage room. Once they were sat down in a safe place, Zodiac stepped back out into the work room and grabbed her besor from the rack she kept it on the wall upon. The carved, old hickory handle feeling good in her hands now. "I had the situation well in hand. Jennifer caught in the crushing grip of reason, but oh no- YOU had to act like Miss Manners the diplomat or something, then try to solve the problem like I would. FAIL!." she muttered as she approached the pair with a wicked gleam in her eyes.
"You wanna play with brooms?" Fine! Let a witch show you how to play!" She began to swat at them.
Hard.

Re: Party like a rock star! (Sangue and DC )
Kennedy sat in front of the crafting bench at home. She was trying to get out the poison traps that Mordechai had ordered but she was running low on parts. She knew that she could ask him but she was slowly learning how to B&E and even had recently gotten to the 4th floor of one of the buildings but not further. That was something...right? She shrugged at the thought as she smiled as she wondered what he was up to, though she could easily assume the team raid because he managed to always get in when they popped up. Even with them doing very different things each day, they always ended the day together at home to which was the best part of the day.
It wasn't long into her thoughts of him and wondering what he was doing that he popped up in her mind. Sometimes his mental abilities gave her the stalker feeling but it's Mordechai and she loved him. If it was anyone else, she would shoot them and tell Mordechai so that he could deal with it. Looking around the apartment for her phone so she could reply back to him, she groaned until she found it under the couch. She had to look horrifying in her yoga pants, a tank top, and her hair piled on the top of her head but she was at home, who cared but Sean who dressed up even to just sit at home to watch television. Sending off her text, telling him that she was already at home and had a few poison traps for him, she set her phone down and wondered what was going on.
Carefully, she stepped around the finished traps so that she wouldn't blow herself up and waste her time putting them together, she set them off to the side so that Mordechai could inspect them when he got home. Once she was finished, she set out to cleaning up the rest of the apartment that had parts nearly thrown all over the place. Putting the nuts and bolts back in the doors and other random parts into the tall tool chest that most would find in a garage for mechanics. The other things she didn't have space for, she quickly hid in the closet and under the couch to make the house look tidy. Giving a firm nod, she flicked on the radio and danced about the apartment as she waited for him to walk through the door.
It wasn't long into her thoughts of him and wondering what he was doing that he popped up in her mind. Sometimes his mental abilities gave her the stalker feeling but it's Mordechai and she loved him. If it was anyone else, she would shoot them and tell Mordechai so that he could deal with it.
