Kira had spent a few nights, gathering what she needed for the judge and now she had to go talk to the judge.

She sat in front of the mirror. "I hate these clothes.." she protested. She was preparing to go in front of a judge to get a divorce from David. Tessa brainstormed with Dru about what she should wear, and Tessa had pointed it out.

"The clothes portray a sweet innocent woman who has been controlled for so long by an abusive man." Tessa said, saying it dramatically. ”Clothes make the woman..”

"This is going to take a lot of acting." Kira muttered. She was no sweet innocent woman, and having to act like some battered woman was not how she wanted to spend her time.

”Now, use that eye shadow. It will make your green eyes stand out more.” Tessa replied.

“And I want that why?” Kira asked, poking the eye shadow like it was some foreign object.

”Just do it..” Tessa said like some demon from the shadows.

Kira froze, “Alrightie then..” she muttered, applying the makeup with several more comments from Tessa on how it was supposed to be done. She grabbed the folder of things she needed and went downstairs. She stopped, “What if they haven’t blacked out the room?” she said, tensing up. She needed someone to check it out first, Tessa wouldn’t be able to relay if it was okay. “Reggie!” she called out.

"Can you make sure the place is dark...before I teleport." she said, that undying fear that she was going to teleport in the middle of a sunny room made it so she didn't want to go.

Reginald couldn't help but smile. He knew it would be a royal pain in her butt to act the way she was going to have to act but it would be worth it in the end. He was happy to see this happening and one of her problems taken care of.

It is a shame though, the killer inside of him felt quite disappointed. He had wanted to take the route where they killed David but oh well guess you can't feed the bubbling rage inside of yourself all the time.

Reginald heard his name being called out and quickly rushed towards Kira smiling as he took her in. "Wow, you do clean up nicely Kira. You really might just kill them with looks. It's a shame you can't control another thrall though. Imagine turning the judge into your thrall. Would make this so easy." He lets out a little chuckle before nodding his head. "Sure, I will bravely run through the sunlight for you." He would do anything for her.

Reginald ran off before she could say anything blurring and ignoring the sun wondering for a brief moment if he should of put on sun screen.Stopping to open the door his eyes opened with pain quickly darting inside as he is burned badly he moves to check the courthouse and yes it was darkened. He let out a sigh of relief as he moved towards the door again knowing the pain he has to go through to follow the order he steps outside actually taking the time to look around while he is burning making sure he didn't have to eliminate anyone somehow. Coast clear he didn't take long to blur and run off towards home entering it and slowly staggering towards Kira and knelt down whispering. "It's darkened Kira." He said as smoke rises from his burnt body.

Kira sighed softly, yes how nice would it be to have a judge under her control. When he brought up bravely going through the sun, her eyes widened. "Wait!" she said. Too late, he already disappeared. She forgot he didn't have daywalker yet, or teleport. When he returned, smoking, she smack him upside the head.

"You dumbass!" she snapped. "I forgot you don't have certain powers. Why would you do that!" she set the papers down and went into the bathroom. Grabbing the burn cream and returned to him, handing him it. "You could have stayed there and text me. I could have just sent Dave or Lady Baron." she growled.

"Temper, you need to act like a lady." Tessa said, "Oh can you fake tears? That will help you with the judge."

Kira glared towards the voice. She started muttering in Gaelic for a moment, otherwise she would have been cussing up a storm but getting it out, she finally started to calm down. "Can't fake tears." she said. She sighed, calming herself down more. "I'm going to need to kill something after this." she grabbed her papers. "Well guess Reggie will be staying here until I'm done then."

She turned her attention to Reggie. "You can't be following my orders mindlessly. Just because I say something doesn't mean its right. If I had been thinking clearer, I would have never asked that of you." she said.

Reginald felt like taking a day long nap as he knelt there not really wanting to stand up anymore. Sleep would be nice he thought and started to drift off until she smacked him upside the head which woke him up fairly well. Today was a big day for her, he needed to stay awake and strong for her. Standing slowly he smiled a bit even though she was scolding him.

"I am sorry Kira, I am glad that I was able to help though and don't worry. It will heal even though it hurt so much I did tell you I would be the best worker you have ever had. Just mark this up to a work related injury and a very mild one at that." He said and then laughed a little before shaking his head. He could of sent a text to her and that would of been the smart thing to do. Guess the burning managed to fry his brain a little. "Shall we get going then Kira?" He asked her ready to get this done and over with.

He was disappointed to hear that he wasn't going to be allowed to go. He let out a sigh and then shrugged a bit. Smearing the burn cream on his arms he closed his eyes slowly listening to her. "I am sorry Kira, I was just overly excited to help. Right or not you know now that it's safe and by the way.. Fear of the sun is a good thing to have it hurts like hell. Probably literally if there was such thing as hell. Burning alive, not cool.

Kira still glared at him, "Best Worker does not mean go get yourself hurt like that on my account." she growled. She said he was staying here because of the burns, it would take less power to just teleport herself. "It's a phobia. You will get daywalker and you'll be able to go out in the sunlight again. Me, I have daywalker and I freak out. One thing can be fixed, the other can't.." she said. She wasn't sure why she bothered to get daywalker, maybe it was just in case she got caught out in the sun. Getting burned by what she already feared wouldn't help her any but her fear always made it sure she was indoors.

She teleported and disappeared from sight.

"Now if she manages to get through this without stabbing someone, it will be a good day." Tessa said amused as she was floating in a circle.


Kira had gotten the blueprints for the building, thanks to Dru. She knew exactly where to show up at, the ladies bathroom and just hope no one was there. She quickly made her way out and to the room she was supposed to go to.

"Ms. Kerr, did you know that you're already divorced and didn't need to come here at all?" The judge asked.

"What?" Kira said confused.

"It was finalized March 29th."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know that. He always refused to sign them before and now that he's missing, I thought this would be my only chance." Kira replied.

"Maybe he's taking a little vacation. You two weren't talking before right so I'm sure he just didn't say anything."

Kira nodded, vacation, yeah the shadow realm was no vacation. She thanked them for their time and for wasting it because of her ex. Not that she would ever refer to him as that ever again. The fake marriage did not count, so he couldn't be anything to her.

She made her way to the ladies room again, making sure it was clear before teleporting straight to her room. She changed her clothes before making her way downstairs. She looked through the mail without saying anything and that's where she noticed she had been sent a copy of the papers. "He was a jackass right to the very end." she muttered. all the research and gathering of statements were for nothing but the end result was the same.

She really wanted to go kill something, but with the sun still up she couldn't. She finally looked at Reggie. "He already signed the papers, he just didn't bother to tell me." she said.

Reginald pretty much collapsed after she blinked away. Rolling over onto his back he looked up at the ceiling. Well he screwed up, she was upset with him but it was worth it anyways. She fails to realize even if the sun doesn't hurt her and if it is just a phobia it doesn't matter. She wanted to be sure and he probably was the fastest way to get her answer. At least he hoped so anyways. Closing his eyes the burn cream on most of the more painful ones he stayed still because any movement irritated them and fell into a deep sleep.

Reginald stirred as he looked up at Kira through half open eyes. He wanted to ask her how it went but he felt like he hadn't the energy to do so. Listening to her tell him that David had already signed the papers he found the energy to smile before letting his head drop back down and fall back to sleep.
