Enver: "No. Hell no." He shook his head. "Not until you calm down and think about things. Logically. I'm tired of this already. Everything I do as of late sets you off and I'm fed up with it." He snarled. "Nothing is the right choice or answer. Nothing I do is good enough. If I act a little different or forget something, I suddenly don't love you and you want to kill yourself. It's insane!"This RP takes place on Sunday 2nd March 2014.
Keara: “Get off of me!” the fear in her voice was quite evident. “Get off! Get off! Get off! Forgive you I never shall if get off of me you do not!” She struggles beneath him, feeling weaker than normal as she tries to get her husband off of her so that she can escape the accursed object that was threatening to devour her whole. “Please!” she began to whimper, water welling up in her eyes.
Enver: He was so angry at everything the past day that he hadn't even thought when he threw her to the couch to get her to stop beating on his chest and saying the stupid garbage she was sputtering. Until it looked like she was about to cry. Then it slowly registered in his mind. He nodded his head, cleared his throat, then stood, letting go of her. "There. You're free." He looked away. "Sorry." He sighed, realizing how screwed up this turned out.
Keara: She rolled off the sofa the moment he moved and crawled as fast as she could to the opposite side of the room, huddling against the wall by the door. She was in the foetal position for the second time in two days, the left side of her body pressed to the wall, her right hand bent at the elbow to shield her face from him as she rocked slowly where she sat. She was mumbling the same phrase repeating over and over; “Safe I am.”
Enver: "Yeah, you're safe. Always were safe." He grumbled, ran a hand through his hair, then shook his head. Part of him wanted to go by her, the other wanted to get the hell out of here. She wanted him to say what she wanted to hear and wanted him to do and it just wasn't going to work out that way. He already budged with Peter and revoked his suggestion to add him to his family forum, because she was his wife and she was his sire, but Falcon had no sire and the one that did sire her was a piece of ****. So no, he wasn't going to budge on the matter.
Keara: She didn’t hear him when he spoke as she was so focused on her own words. The creature tried to eat her and that was all she could think of. He’d done it on purpose; a thought that would come later when she’d calmed down a little but for now she continued to rock herself nervously and mumble her mantra. It was an odd thing to be afraid of, especially considering she didn’t fear any of the creatures in the city that she’d encountered, but it was what it was.
Enver: "You're fine. Look around. And then look at yourself. Nothing happened." Enver said, glaring at her as she didn't say anything to him. "It's just a couch. Everyone sits on one and survives it." He sighed and shook his head. They obviously weren't going to talk about anything else tonight. At least not anything important now.
Keara: She heard the odd word here and there as he spoke. His tone mocking her, even if he didn’t mean it too. It was a stupid fear but to her it was very real and she thought he knew her well enough to do something like that to her. “Leave…leave you should…” She was shaking her head as she wrestled to get control of her senses, her body coming off the wall so she could hold her head with both hands. “Hate me…Hate me you do.”
Enver: And there it was again. Some version of him not loving her again. If you thoughts someone hated you, obviously you don't think they love you. Enver shook his head. "Yeah. You're right. I hate you. I hate you so god damn much that I spent most my night making traps for you and for the family." Enver cleared his throat and then nodded his head. "But yeah. Fine. I'll leave since that's what you want." Enver frowned, sighed again and left.
Keara: She wasn’t thinking clearly, not that it likely would have changed what she said, as she knew of no other reason as to why her husband would be so cruel as to pin her down on an instrument of torture. When he made to leave, she didn’t move to stop him, she was still curled in a ball and trying to calm herself. What she did do however was connect to his mind the moment the door closed behind him, though obviously she had no intention of doing so and was unaware that she had left the connection open either. ‘Hates me. Hates me he does. Vile I am. He is. Vile he is too for that to me to do. Knows he does…Knows he does…On purpose did that to me he did. Hates me. No other explanation is there. Hate him too…I do. I do…I do…I…don’t.’ She was crying now and as the sobbing began, her thoughts ceased.
Enver: He hadn't gotten very far. In fact he didn't know where he was going or what he'd do now. No way in hell was he spending hours making some stupid traps, most of them would be shitty quality anyway because he was so god damn furious about everything. Enver spun on his heels when he heard her in his mind and headed back in to the crypt. "Yeah, I threw you away from me on purpose. I'm not your god damn punching bag, Keara." He glared at her. "The **** you've been doing and saying lately? A person can only take so much craziness, you know? No, you don't because you're the one working yourself up for nothing." He sighed. "I wasn't thinking when I threw you on the couch. Welcome to my god damn world the last week or so!"
Keara: Her position hadn’t changed any in the brief moment he was gone and neither did her form of communication as she disappeared into the shadows so he couldn’t see her. ‘Crazy. That word again. Calls me that a lot he does. Crazy. Saner now than before. Before crazy I was. Not so much. Not now. Backwards I cannot go…No. No. No. No. No. Back I cannot go. Stupid asylum. Glad for renovations. Home I want. Home I want. Home I want.’ She was rocking herself more, though he couldn’t see it, lost in a spiral of emotions that were all consuming.
Enver: "Great. Back in the shadows you go. Real nice knowing I can see my wife when I’m trying to talk to her. And I'm not saying you're crazy, but you're definitely not acting like yourself, that's for damn sure. And I'm trying to blame it on the baby or whatever the hell you want to call it, but you've always been the logical of the two of us and there's been not an ounce of logic in anything you've said or done lately." He sighed and plopped down on the couch.
Keara: ‘Logic…Crazy…Crazy logic. Yes. That have I. Crazy…Like the shadows,’ she began scratching at the wall, the noise echoing a little in the sparsely decorated room. ‘Baby…No. No baby. Creature. Parasite.’ Her nails moved from the wall to her own stomach where she began clawing at herself; the act of self-mutilation triggering her to re-emerge from the shadows whether she willed it or not. ‘Out. Get it out. Want to die I do not. No…Live. Live and crazy be. Be crazy but live. Please Nox,’ she whimpered as she rolled onto her back and began shredding her abdomen more fiercely with fingers that now resembled claws.
Enver: "You're not ******* crazy! The woman I married isn't crazy! Aren't you listening to a god damn thing I'm saying?" He growled as Enver jerked his head over in the direction of the scratching and over to her, realizing she was out of shadows now. "Stop that, god damn it. It's not going to do anything, yeah?" He got up from the couch and knelt down in front of her. "Said so yourself. So stop it already." He grabbed one of her hands and knocked it away from her stomach area
Keara: She scratched at him as he tried to get her to stop hurting herself. Had she have had the mind to think it, she may have asked what she was supposed to do as she wasn’t allowed to take things out on him or herself, which really didn’t leave her an outlet to express the emotions she felt and couldn’t control. She laughed, breaking off her telepathic ability as she did so. “Married me you do. Crazy I am. Call me such you do and…”she looked to him for a moment and then back to her stomach. “Gone. Want it gone I do. Away. Leave. Moves it does. Feel it do. Wants it does for me to kill. Bad creature.”
Enver: "Yeah, I married you and you married me. And I'm doing the best I can with a situation neither one of us know anything about." He frowned and looked down at her stomach. "That's what they do, I've been told. It's normal, even though it's not normal." A hand went to his face as he pulled on it, not sure what he was saying or trying to get at. "We can try and take it out again, but don't think anything’s going to change. Unless you've thought of something I don't know about?" He sighed. "Think you can kill it while it's in there? Or someone else can? You know, if someone stabs or shoots it? Internally?"
Keara: All she could do was shake her head, even as her hands dug deeper into her stomach with the intention of removing the squirming being from body. She didn’t like having the entity inside of her and she doubted what it was doing was normal, what with not being an expert on pregnancy or reproduction; it wasn’t exactly a subject she’d paid much attention too over the years what with being the way she was. “Just want it gone I do. Know I do that nothing help shall…but…Why does it move so?”
Enver: "******* stop it." He grabbed at her other hand. "It's not going to do anything. You already tried." He cleared his throat, yanked the hand in his direction and shrugged. "Because it's growing I guess? Getting bigger in there. I mean, we move in our environment." He cleared his throat uncomfortably. "I'm really no fadebeast or baby expert."
Keara: She stopped clawing at her stomach, the claws retracting so that her hands true form could once again be seen. “Me either,” she admitted as she subconsciously healed the area she’d been digging into before laying her head on Enver’s lap. “Know I do not why bother with me you do. Deserve you I do not,” she whispered as she wrapped her arms rather awkwardly around his waist, without moving.
Enver: He sighed. "Think we deserve each other, truth be told. And things will be back to normal once, you know." He cleared his throat. "Just know I love you and only you. I'm bound to you and only you, I come home to you every night I can and am with you almost all the damn time. Just not sure why you get all these thoughts in your head. How I'd even have the time or energy to think about any other woman, beautiful."
Keara: “Time you’d find if wanted too you did. And well…blame you I could not. Control myself…my thoughts…at times I cannot.” Her hands gripped the back of his shirt as she lifted her head from off his lap. “Think you do truly that deserve each other we do?” she asked as she made the single biggest mistake she could ever make around her husband by looking into his eyes.
Enver: "I don't want to find time." His brows furrowed together as he listened to her, then softened as he listened to her question. "Yeah, I do." He laughed. Part of him might have been somewhat sarcastic when he said that, as in the sense they both pushed the other in ways that probably tested the others control and sanity, but he meant it, sarcasm aside. A hand came to her face, a thumb to her lips as he traced them with it. "Not really sure what my life would be like without you, but not eager to try and find out either.
Keara: She caught his thumb between her teeth, momentarily biting him in a rather cute and playful fashion, something she’d never done before. “Want I do not want from you to be parted. Even when hiding from you I am…Missed you I did…Today…While here…Hacking all day boring is.” She was kind of missing hunting in the catacombs and was going a little crazier being cooped up indoors. Enver usually had them moving from place to place, mixing things up and so she wasn’t used to hiding away as much as she was now.
Enver: He chuckled when she snagged his thumb in the fashion she did, then leaned in and took a kiss from her when she was done talking. "We'll figure out some things to for us to do while we're in here. Like your rituals and I can craft. Can watch some movies, bring the gaming systems over. We'll make it work." He nodded. "Whatever you want, we'll get it sorted." He grinned over at her. "Wish you wouldn't do that hiding thing. You know I can't find you. Don't like it much."
Keara: “Plan I do for to move from apartment to apartment for next few weeks. Though…guess spoken on that we have not. Want I do not too long in one location to stay… Bored become I shall. Mind I would not for in our cell to stay but…well…these places home are not. Perhaps better would be for one location to choose…maybe…and what hiding thing do you speak of?” She wasn’t sure if he meant her staying away from him for the half the night, or the fact that she could hide in the shadows when she didn’t want to be seen by him. As she waited for an answer, she turned her back to him, leant back and placed her feet up on the wall, getting herself comfortable on him and the floor.
Enver: "All of it. But running off like that all the time. Especially all things considered." He looked down at her stomach where she ripped in to it. "Shadow thing is sort of annoying, but it'll eventually stop working. But the whole running off things is annoying as all hell." He frowned. "And yeah, we can go wherever you want to. Wouldn't mind checking out some of the new places."
Keara: “Sorry I am for that to do…Just…So angry I was and wanted I did not for you to harm.” She couldn’t look him in the eye as she said that, as she felt ashamed of herself and her behaviour. “Understand I do not why you that female would adopt. Of our blood she is not. So…Special I assume she is.” Her voice betrayed her insecurities as it waivered as she spoke the last sentence.
Enver: He sighed as she circled back to Falcon. "Because I think she's a good person, all things considered. And I think she needs some direction and a place to learn things and find a family. She can't help it her sire's a douche." His eyes narrowed. "Sin isn't River's blood and a few others in there, but I consider Sin more of a sibling than the others she's sired." He shrugged. "Wouldn't say she's special, she's just looking for a place to fit in is all. She's been floating around for a good while without any direction. Not her fault either."
Keara: “But…special she must be for your attention to hold. Like you do not many in my family…Clear that becoming is. And less than patient you seem with Charlotte who new to this life is. Direction from me she requires and…be there for her I cannot.” She looked up at him, tilting her head so she could catch his eye if he looked at her. What she said was true enough and she was trying not to overreact or get defensive and so to her, focusing on him was possibly the best way to distract herself; that and she wanted to see if he was lying to her, not that staring at him from that angle would tell her much of anything.
Enver: "Charlotte's been abusing her powers, much like Sara was." He pointed out. "And I'm not sure what you mean about my attention to hold. Don't pay her as much mind as I do Lorde or Peter. But since she works for me and doesn't have a place to go, seems to make sense I'd look after her. With her being an Allurist and all too. If she's dead, I'd have to hire someone new. Takes time. She's a good worker." Enver shrugged. "I like most of everyone who I've talked to. Jonah, Peter, Reganleif. Don't know anything much about Maddra. And, well, you know how I feel about Charlotte and Sara. Shannon's not half bad." He shrugged. "That's most your family.
Keara: A soft sigh escaped her lips as he said Charlotte abused her powers. She didn’t agree but wasn’t sure she could change his mind to the fact. When he stopped listing her family, she decided to try and persuade him to her way of thinking once more. “Charlotte her powers does not abuse Enver. New she is. Learning. Mistakes she is making. Prefer I do that she her mistakes on her family makes, than on others. And well…your female your employee may be…but…did you with her talk yet…about boundaries? If family she thinks you and you her guess I do that did that you did not…as boundaries with family different are.” She looked to the wall before her, her feet fidgeting slightly on the rough surface as she began picking at her nails.
Enver: "Ahh." Enver rubbed his jaw as he thought about it. "Well, not entirely. I mean, sort of." He cleared his throat. "I'm not even sure why you're still on about that. I didn't do anything back to her and if you'd give me a minute to explain her...ahh, situation, maybe you could be a bit more sympathetic and help me explain some stuff." He pulled at his t-shirt. "You know, things with Lorde aren't hard. She's not overly affectionate and she's strong willed. Falcon...not so much. It's sort of different. Peter's not the same as Charlotte and the same as Sara. Got to approach things differently." He shrugged. "I've not really ran in to her since I've been back from Cali, been sort of dealing with, you know, you." He cleared his throat again. "She's a nice girl, but her, ahh...vampire upbringing was a little...messed up to say the least. Least I think so."
Keara: “Still…like I do not that nuzzled you she did. That kind of affection from a childe wrong is. Know that she should. As if see her I do that doing, unsure I am if able I would be for myself to stop from attacking her…” The image of someone else being that close to him and doing something so intimate made her stomach churn, and she grabbed his arms and pulled them around her, tightly, as if trying to protect herself from them. Then, after a short pause, she circled back to something he’d said a few minutes ago. “And…erm…Enver…why is her sire a shower? Said you did that he a douche is…Sure I am that that word wrongly used has been.” It was typical of Keara to mistake certain things that her husband did or said as she was still learning certain aspects of the modern language. Much like a foreigner, certain colloquial words and phrases were completely lost on her. This confusion however didn’t spring from a total lack of understanding as she could speak French and so recognised the word, only to have mistaken the meaning.
Enver: He nodded his head. "Like I said, when I get more than two seconds to talk with her, I'll speak to her about it. Just think she was happy was all. Being part of something for the first time in a long time. Least I hope so." Truth was, Enver was pretty sure that's all it was, but he didn't have time for someone trying to get between him and his wife and if it had to come down to it, there wouldn't be much of a choice on who he'd pick. "A what?" He frowned not sure how she got that out of him. "Don't think I called him that." He rubbed at his jaw. "You know. A jerk. Asshole. It's what I said, yeah?"
