"Cai!" She proclaimed, as she soaked in his features remembering his face. It had to be Cai in front of her, no one else aside from Liz really knew who taught her rituals. Cai had been so patient with her as she tried to perfect every rituals starting from a simple tracking ritual, to the homebound. Cai had taught her everything she knew, had been her guide and best friend. Yes, that was what he was to the Telepath, her best friend. One of the few people she could actually tolerate being around, someone who didn't ask questions about where she was -- didn't press her for information. "You were indeed the one who taught me rituals, you taught me well."

Mora was still reeling from the previous night, she had found out she had been married before she had suffered the terrible memory loss. How horrible it had been. Dwayne. His name was Dwayne, he had been so horrid to Elizabeth on the family CrowNet that she questioned her past self, unsure as to why she would fall for someone like him. Why she was attracted to someone so mean, so dark. When she was so calm, and full of light.

Her forest green orbs looked to the necromancer, she had to stop herself from moving forward and going to hug him, as she hugged most people -- but she was unsure if she should do such a thing, she knew Cai was shy -- she just didn't know how shy.

"That's Zara, my thrall." she said as she caught Cai's glance at Zara, she was no paladin, she was simply Mora's responsibility. Just like Sabra had been, before she had released her from Mora's power. "I've collected a fair few bluehearts, how many did you need?" she said as she smiled revealing the woven basket that was latched to her arm, inside laid her goodies -- her finds for the night.

Relief filled Judas. She hadn’t noticed anything different as of yet. Good. Though it wouldn’t really be a bad thing for someone to know his secret and he could tell just by looking at her that Mora was trustworthy. Another quick look through Cai’s memories told him that this girl was one of the few that had Cai’s absolute trust. That pleased him, as he was already quite fond of this girl. She was cute. He knew that Cai would protest that and tell him that Mora was off limits on any level except friendship. Sorry old bean, I’m not like that. You’ll learn to deal. A smirk curled his lips as he imagined the necromancer’s reaction to that development. Far too amusing.

“Indeed.” The smile that appeared was genuine. Cai’s obvious joy had been clear to him in the memories. “You were a most...pleasing pupil.” The comment, had it been coming from Cai would have been completely innocent. But it wasn’t coming from him, this was Judas and as such the comment was anything but innocent and the innuendo wouldn’t be too difficult to pick up on if one were to really concentrate on it. It was then that that horrible voice returned this time though, she was in for a surprise.

You’re disgusting you horrible boy! Sinner! You’re going to burn in hell for your perverted thoughts and - That’s all the further she got. Judas scowled and spoke back to her, something Cai never did himself. “Shut up you stupid *****, and get the **** out of my damn head. I’m not your Cai and I won’t take this **** from you. Keep on, I’ve got a much thicker skin and you won’t get to me that easily. Nice try though." Blessed silence. Hallelujah.

Mora was speaking to him and Judas turned his attention on her fully. “Zara..” he murmured committing the name to memory. The reason he was there came up and he took his attention off of Zara’s face to look at the basket, peering in at it’s contents. “Very nice ladies…” A slip that he didn’t even notice. “Fortune was with you this night. Perhaps 2, maybe 3 would do? Certainly enough for me to start growing some for myself.”

If Mora could blush, she would have. Due to the lack of fresh blood that circulated in her system it wasn't visible. Instead she slanted her eyes to a nearby tree, admiring the brown bark. She didn't know she had been pleasing, it made her happy to know that she had made Cai happy by picking up rituals quickly. "I had a great teacher." she said before dragging her green orbs back to the Necromancer. Soaking in his features once again, before looking to Zara -- her thrall, and handing her the woven basket to hold.

Very nice ladies.

Mora watched Cai for a moment, she wasn't sure where the 'ladies' came from, he was squally so polite so hearing that was odd. She quickly over looked it though, she didn't really mind, she pushed her hand into her golden hair and ran her bony hands through it. He wanted three, she turned to Zara and took the basket again, a game of tag between those two, as she began to file through the various, flowers and weeds.

She plucked three well blossomed bluehearts from the bunch and walked close to Cai, and outstretched her hand offering the flowers to him. "Three. Are you sure that's enough?" she said! studying his face for a moment before looking to the flowers I'm her hand! as if they were going to sprout legs and move themselves off her hand. Zara came forward then, taking the basket back off her and leaning against a near by tree and watching the interaction between the Telepath and the necromancer as if it was comical.

The way she looked at him made him feel a little nervous. Did he slip up? Did she suspect something was different? Judas wracked his brain to recall the conversation and stopped on those three words. Very nice ladies. Well ****. What the hell had he been thinking? That was completely out of character for the necromancer. Ladies wasn’t a term that he used, everything was Miss, or Ms but never ladies. Judas cursed mentally. Stupid, Judas. Just...stupid. Again the thought of her knowing appealed to him. Would it really hurt for someone, just one person to know his secret?

“Well thank you dollface, I enjoyed teaching you.” A deliberate slip. What was he doing?! It occurred to Judas that he really and truly wanted Mora to know, wanted her to question his behavior. Trying to keep up the facade was only going to become more difficult as time went on. What was wrong with Mora knowing? Be able to be himself, regardless of who was present would be a relief and a blessing. Judas decided that there was nothing wrong with that. Mora figuring it out would be a good thing.

“Mm. Yes I think that will be plenty.” He reached for the flowers she was offering him, letting his finger brush over her hand as he retrieved him. That was definitely not Cai behavior. Now that he’d made his decision Judas wasn’t taking extreme measures to hide anything from her. “Thank you very much, my ritual stocks will be blessed with these new additions.” He gave her a charming smile. “Is there anything that I can give you in return? My rituals supplies are your ritual supplies.”

She watched him cautiously, her moss orbs curious -- what made her really squint at the Necromamcer though was the use of there word doll face. That was odd even for Cai, she had to ask. "Doll face? -- has the Demi-Fae hurt you tonight, Cai? You are using words you never use, it's worrying me." Cai then took the flowers from her, his fingers brushing against her skin softly. It was odd, it felt like a jolt. She had never had the privilege of hugging him -- so the brush against the palm of her hand was a shock. She eyes simply stared at his features. He then asked if he could give her anything in return, and she thought for a moment.

She was running low on hunter charms, and mooncalf bones. Since she had taken the path of being a dedicated ritualist she lacked strength. She could just about handle a feral vampires. Mora had become weaker, she used to be so hot on her feet when it came to training but now she rarely trained most of the time she spent doing her businesses, better herself at rituals, or tending to her plants. Trimming their leaves sometimes even talking to them.

"I need some mooncalf bones, and some hunter charms. But you don't need to give them if you can't spare them. I'm sure I can ask Olive to hunt some for me, she's always so eager to kill things, and tinker." she said with a sweet smile! she did take note of his charming smile -- there was something there, a secret. Mora couldn't figure it out. Maybe the Demi fae really had hurt him, she inspected him then -- tried to be secretive, edging to look at his head, in case he was suffering from a head wound. She would have to tend to it.

He brushed off her question for now. She had apparently noticed his odd behavior and was questioning it. Good. He had the answers that she sought of course but he wouldn’t answer right away. Instead he chose to address the list of supplies that she was running low on. Charms and mooncalf bones. Both relatively easy for him to acquire and the charms at least he had several of. There was no issue handing either over. His supply of bones was a little low but he could always go hunt down mooncalfs himself and add to his supply.

Judas slid the bag off of his shoulder and knelt on the ground to open it. Sorting through the bulk of the items inside he wondered how anyone could walk around with this much stuff and be comfortable. Come to think of it, he hadn’t even noticed the weight of the bag so it must be easier to do than he thought it was. He located the items she needed with relative ease and pulled out several charms and about a dozen bones. He separated them into neat piles, closed the bag and looked up at her. “This should get you started. I’ll look for more and share what I find.”

Time to backtrack. She was worried and that had never been his intention. He should have figured that she would be. Time for some explanations. “Forgive me. It was never my intention to worry you. I assure you that I am well, no head injuries or anything of the sort.” Another charming smile in the hopes that it would reassure her. “See the thing is….” Judas paused and considered his next words. Should he blurt it out or ease her into it? “I’m not Cai. Well I am..but I’m not. My name is Judas.” Apparently blunt was his middle name.

She watched him slip the bag from his shoulder with ease, she then watched him rummage through the contents. Mora stood on her feet, rocking back and forth, watching curiously to see if he did have the things she was after, she wanted to do some unknowing herself – but she lacked some ingredients, on top of that she liked to be helped, she sometimes liked to track fadebeasts for those that wanted to kill the large, unruly beasts. Mora had the success of killing one or two in the past, back when she was able to train consistently, when she was not into ritualing, but now when she did try – the unruly beast would chase her down, and wound her. So she never tried.

Her attention fell back to the Necromancer as he fished through his bag of goodies pulling out some charms, and half a dozen of mooncalf bones. Again a beast she could rarely kill. Mora really should sell her blade, she was hopeless at fighting. ”Thank you Cai!” She said as she beamed at the male, as she knelt down to the ground to inspect the items before stuffing them into her own bag of goodies, nestled right next to her chicken feet. She then brought her twinkling green orbs back to Cai, and smiled at him fondly.

Judas.

The smile that she aimed at Cai, simmered away slowly. She didn’t know what he meant. How could he not be Cai, and how was he Judas? She rubbed at her neck slowly as she stood back up her eyes never leaving his. ”How are you not Cai? You look like Cai you knew the answer to the question that only Cai should know. How?” The woman looked confused as she continued to rub at her neck, trying to think how this happened. Maybe he did have a head injury and just wasn’t admitting to it. Cai.. or whoever this Judas was had to give her some answers, and pronto.

Maybe he should have thought it through a little more before revealing himself to this blonde woman with the green eyes that captivated him, drew him in keeping all of his attention on her. Maybe she was making him crazy, or maybe she was a witch who cast a spell on him. That theory was laughable even to him. He knew why he hadn’t waited - Judas trusted Mora. Instinctively he knew that whatever he told her would stay with her. There weren’t many people that could be trusted like that.

“I’ll try to answer your questions but I can’t promise that you’ll be satisfied with my answers,” he began, reaching up to pull the knitted black beanie off of his head. Cai dressed so stuffy and that hat he wore constantly was too constricting for Judas’ taste. Of course that would be the first thing to go. When he returned to the crypt he’d have to see what else he could dispose of. Probably a bunch of black, drab things. How morbid. But then again what was one to expect from someone fascinated with dead things.

“I...don’t really know how I came to be. I just am. I’m Judas.” His brow furrowed as he picked absently at the frozen ground. “And I’m Cai. We are who we are, it just depends on the situation. It determines which of us you’re dealing with.” He shrugged. The explanation sounded odd to his ears and it wasn’t exactly satisfying either but it was all that he could say. It would just have to suffice for now.

Mora was never really satisfied. Honestly she wasn’t satisfied with how the Dwayne situation came about. Part of her wished the man hadn’t come back – and bombarded her with all these things to think about, at the same time she wondered what else she had forgotten with her memory loss. It was odd, to be so lost – yet at the brink of remembering everything, her mind was like a beaker of water threatening to spill over the edge. Yet now as she looked at Cai in front of her, or this man that proclaimed to be Judas within Cai’s body seemed to allure the woman. She wanted to know how his body had another soul living within. Was there two of them, was Cai gone from this world now?

”Have you hurt Cai?” Then there was a pause, her tone was tinged with a sense of pleading as she continued. ”He means a lot to me, please don’t hurt him.” She asked him nicely, as she calmly brushed her bony fingers through her golden locks. In that moment she wanted to be back in the safety in her apartment. Had she known this Judas before? She didn’t know. Everything was a blur nowadays. Though the more she thought about Judas and Cai it seemed to her like a hostage situation, was Cai being held hostage Judas, or had Cai wanted this invasion. The woman began to chew at her lip with the tip of her fang. She chewed so hard that she pierced the flesh of her peach lip. A soft ‘ow’ uttered from her lips as she sucked at her lip drawing the blood into her mouth before looking back to Cai.

The beanie was removed from his head and Mora finally came to see his black hair, short and shaggy. Mora found herself blinking in admiration. ”You look good, without a hat that is.” she said before she turned her eyes to Zara who was still quite contently staring at the two vampires with a smug smile on her features as if she was privy to a secret only she knew. Mora found herself glaring at her thrall for keeping a secret. Zara scoffed at the telepath before plunging her hand into the basket as if she was innocent leaving Mora to drag her orbs back to the Necromancer.

”Depends? But you are you. Yes? Cai/Judas. You are the same person, with the same memories. You know who I am?” she came forward then, being a little bold as she poked his cheek just to make sure this Judas was indeed real.

The mere question had him horrified. “Of course not! I’d never harm Cai. He’s as much a part of me as I am of him.” Genuine hurt reflected in his words. He tried to tell himself that he was being silly and that she hadn’t meant any harm but he felt the sting all the same. Mora was entitled to ask her questions and of course she was concerned about the safety of her friend. It was going to take time for Judas to prove to her that he only had Cai’s best interests at heart. “He’s just as fond of you as you are of him. I know you probably don’t understand and I can’t explain it any better. I know asking you to trust me is asking a lot but…” he didn’t finish the sentence and just shrugged his shoulders almost helplessly.

He looked back at the female thrall that he’d almost forgotten about while speaking with Mora. The look on her face took him by surprise and he couldn’t help but wonder what she was thinking. Zara...yes that was what Mora had said her name was. She looked almost smug but Judas didn’t feel that it was his place to question her about it. Maybe Mora would later. “Hmm?” He attention was drawn back to the blonde standing with him. “Oh. The hat.” His hand touched his head. “It’s too confining. I don’t see how Cai can wear it constantly. It’s too confining and I think he relied on it.” He could have explained what he meant but he didn’t feel that it was his place to.

“You’re Mora Daradasi. Good friend to Cai, who taught you rituals. You share plants with him and he shares everything he has with you. He’d be very upset if something happened to you, and so would I.” There were some that Judas didn’t care for at all and he knew that he was going to end up damaging some relationships beyond repair. But the difference was, that while Cai might care Judas didn’t. He wasn’t going to hold back or watch his tongue just to spare someone’s feelings. It wasn’t who he was. He blinked rapidly at the unexpected touch but he didn’t move away from her. “Of course I know who you are.”
