Robert Pratt: *He sent her a text* Heya love. Lizzie's free this evening. I think it's time we tell her. Are you free to do this? To get it over and done with so that it's off your mind?
Serendipity: *she saw the text and frowned heavily as she was on the second floor making traps. She sighed and sent him a message back* Must really want to break up bad, huh? Sure, why not.
Robert Pratt: He replied to her, shaking his head. "We're not breaking up. I won't let you go and it will all be fine. I'll summon you over once I'm there."
Serendipity: I’m not coming, Robert and you should know Lizzie better than that. We are breaking up. You need to deal with it
Robert Pratt: "No, we're not. Don't be silly. If you don't want to come - then I'll tell her on my own. I don't mind either way, but we're not ending."
Serendipity: You don’t get it, do you? I’m not asking....
Robert Pratt: "Me neither. I'll speak to you after I've spoken to Lizzie."
Serendipity: Robert. Do not do this.
Robert Pratt: "We said we would. She has a right to know. We agreed. I won't keep her in the dark anymore - it's not fair."
Serendipity: Well, since we are breaking up, it doesn’t matter!
Robert Pratt: "We aren't, and you won't blackmail me like this, because we talked about it and we agreed we would. Unless you were lying to me?"
Serendipity: Its not lying, It was getting you to leave the situation be for the time being. Sorry if I’m not in a hurry to break up like you are.
Robert Pratt: "We're not breaking up. And telling me you were going to tell her, when you blatantly aren't going to - is lying. Anyways, she's here now. So if you're not coming - I'll do this alone."
Serendipity: Robert. Do Not Do This.
Robert Pratt: He pocketed his phone, annoyed that he'd been lied to and annoyed that she'd tried to blackmail and manipulate him - and he wasn't sure which he was more annoyed at.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Robert Pratt: *Texts her* When are you free for a chat? Not tonight, but anytime else?Elizabeth Llewellyn: *she perked a brow at his text* I am always available, though I am sure you do not have time for me. What is it that you want to talk about? Business?
Robert Pratt: He blinked at the response, not understanding whatever she could mean - so asked. "What on earth do you mean you're sure I don't have time for you?
Elizabeth Llewellyn: "You are a busy man, Robert...business and would assume personal given your questions last week. I would hate to get in the way for anything that you have planned. Business is a given, we work together and you have a right to know what is going on. I will prepare portfolios this evening."
Robert Pratt: He wasn't used to Lizzie being.... well, being a stroppy *****. So he was taken aback by the texts he was getting from her. "What's wrong? This doesn't sound like you"
Elizabeth Llewellyn: *she sighed as the new text came through and she pinched the bridge of her nose.* Sorry...outside the forced rest...I am not getting much. Chelsea and many of the kids are sick so been tending to. Staff have been sick too so there aren't many of us to help.
Robert Pratt: He had no idea who Chelsea was, but he just guessed it was one of the kids at the orphanage who'd maybe been sicker than the rest - which was why she'd been named. "No worries. Anyways, no - I just wanted to talk to you about something and wondered if you could isolate some time? It's not business related."
Elizabeth Llewellyn: She nodded at the text. "I am always free. You of all people should know that so just let me know."
Robert Pratt: "Ok. Tomorrow then, at the orphanage after the kids are asleep. I'll pop round. Ok?"
Elizabeth Llewellyn: "If it's just you, Robert...why not stop over tonight. They are all down for the night with their medicine taken. I will take Chelsea over to see Serendipity and we could go for a walk."
Robert Pratt: "I'll be there in a minute, wait for me"
Elizabeth Llewellyn: "Okay. I'll be at Beta."
Robert Pratt: He teleported over to the Beta doors and waited for her to arrive.
Elizabeth Llewellyn: She had already been at the apartment and arranged for Serendipity to watch the child. Slipping out the door, she looked up at him as she nearly ran into him. "Oh shite...sorry...Hello."
Robert Pratt: He was surprised to see her coming out of Beta and raised an eyebrow as he pocketed his phone. Obviously Serry hadn't told her anything - the texts were proof enough of that. So it was down to him. He offered her a little smile and nodded, pushing off from the side of the wall. "Hey. How're you?"
Elizabeth Llewellyn: Her long red hair flowed down around her shoulders. She stepped back and nodded. "I am doing fine. It is nice to get a little break from the house and Serendipity is babysitting. So getting a chance to breathe so to speak is nice." She started to walk slowly until he was ready to join her. "How are you?"
Robert Pratt: He followed along with her and nodded. "I'm fine thanks. Where shall we walk to? River, in the wilderness?"
Elizabeth Llewellyn: "I'm really glad to hear that." She smiled up at him and nodded. "Naturally. It is relaxing and I feel at home there sometimes."
Robert Pratt: He nodded and stepped onto the bridge to cross the river, planning to then head to the right and out into the wilderness. However, he was bored of the city - so putting his hand on her shoulder he simply teleported them both out there instead of walking all the way.
Elizabeth Llewellyn: The walk was nice and relaxing but she wasn't prepared for the ground to give way and being suddenly teleported. She hadn't been teleported or summoned in ages and her body felt it. Once they reappeared in the wilderness, her hand went straight to her head as she breathed a little harder out of habit. She looked around after her head felt like it was done spinning and then up at him. "Bloody hell...I forgot what that felt like."
Robert Pratt: He chuckled and shrugged, giving her a minute to pull herself together. He teleported himself all over the place regularly - so he was well used to the feeling. He looked around and spotted the log he'd seen the other day, and went over and sat on it - watching her carefully and waiting for her to join him.
Elizabeth Llewellyn: It took her a bit but once she felt stable, she turned and watched him walk over to a log. Following after him, she slipped off her purse and sat it down on the ground. Carefully lowering herself to the ground, hoping not to fall as her stilettos sunk into the ground. Grateful for wearing jeans, she shifted lightly and looked up at him as she got comfortable.
Robert Pratt: He was ridiculously nervous, and annoyed, and felt like he was sitting on tenterhooks. He had no idea how to say this and he wished Serry were here with him for this. However, she'd lied to him and was now throwing a childish fit, as if to try and blackmail him into staying quiet. However, there were too many people who knew and who were keeping it from Lizzie. Plus, he wanted to go out with Serry and not worry about who saw them. He didn't want to be in her home and jump at the sound of the door every time it went in case it was Lizzie. But most of all - he didn't want to keep Lizzie in the dark anymore. It wasn't fair and it wasn't right - for anyone. It just wasn't whom he was and to ask him to do otherwise - wasn't fair. Regardless of the outcome. He turned and looked at her, finding her eyes and holding contact as he began to speak. "So, you know the other day? I asked how you'd feel if I were to see someone else and you said you'd be fine?" He paused, trying to find his words. "Well, I have been seeing someone. And I thought it only right you be told, and hear it from the horses mouth - as it were - as opposed to hearing it as some dirty secret whispered to you to hurt you. I respect you too much to let that happen."
Elizabeth Llewellyn: She found it odd that he wanted to talk with her. He didn't really seem like he had the time or maybe she was being a pest. Robert had always been pleasant but that didn't make her feel more comfortable about him suddenly wanting to see her. She idly tapped her fingers against her knee as she waited. The silence killing her and she wondered if it would be rude to hack or fill out a few business reports. No...that would be rude so she sat patiently. When he turned towards her, she looked up at him. As he made eye contact with her and held it, she instantly felt anxious. Nodding her head without breaking eye contact, the words filtered around her ears and she frowned. This was not the conversation she expected nor wanted but here it was. She sighed softly. "Yes..."
Robert Pratt: He fiddled with the wedding band on his left hand in a nervous manner, as he waited for her to respond - however, he only got a yes, which wasn’t much to go on, after all he'd said. He even wondered if she'd seen the ring he'd given Serry and put on her finger. "It's.....serious." He said softly, and then just bit the bullet and went for it. "I'm with Serry."
