They want to play (invite)
Renee had moved out and gotten her own place. She had liked living with her sire and sibling but now she was by herself. Ursa had moved out and Pagie was always out and about doing her own thing and Axel was never there. He busy and it was understandable but now that the headaches had gotten worse she thought it best to have her own place to go and recover if need be.
She had cleaned up and made sure what little she had was organized. She had asked Axel over for the evening. She wanted him to be the first to see the place before she had the rest of the family over.
She had taken to keeping blood packs around so she could stay hidden for the most part. She did not want her name to end up on the list any more. She went into the kitchen and got herself a pack. She ripped it open and started to drink. Then it happened
"Why do you try to post pone what you already know is going to happen?"
"What are you talking about? She asked the voice that was in her head.
"Why are you trying to stay alive my dear, you know you should just starve yourself."
"Shut up and leave me alone."
"Now why on earth would I do that, you know I'm the only friend you got. The only one that cares about you."[/i]
"Shut up. Your lieing."
"Why would I lie? You its the truth. Your 'family' is gone and no one wants you in TY. Thats why Cat got in before you and you're stuck here all alone."
"Shut up and go away!" She shouted to the voice.
"Your own 'sister' hasnt come to see you and she lives in the same building as you. You have a price on your head and Jesse and Axel arent happy. Axel probably wont even show up tonight."
"SHUT UP!"
"Just let someone kill you so they can get the money. Then you will be worth something at least."
"go away" She said barly able to hear herself say it. "I wont do what you say."
"oh? you wont? Let us just see about that then shall we."
There was a loud screeching sound, she was unsure if it was in her head or if others heard it. She clinched her head with her hands on her ears. As the blood pack that she was holding fell to the ground with a splat, she fell forward, hitting her head on the counter as she fell to the ground.

Re: They want to play (invite)
--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Axel Rosen> The air of the apartment he has in the West Towers, while rarely used, is humming with the faint sound of music at the moment. A memory sparks at the back of his mind that he is supposed to be somewhere. He goes through his texts a few times looking for the specifics of it all. After gleaning through the information a few times, he realizes that it’s not in his texts, but rather in his calendar ‘app’ of his phone. In one of the little square blocks, the only one that is marked, is the name ‘Renee’. Standing he mutters some obscenities before reaching out to Nix with his mind, ”I’m going to Renee’s new place this evening if you want to come with me?” After he sends this missive he turns his focus on the childe that he is going to see, and alerts her that he is coming. He hopes that his voice is still enough to break through the voices that constantly ail her. Yes, she has told him about them, but he does what he can. Finally he stands up from the chair and then makes his way to the bedroom to go get some clothes.
<Phoenix> Her dreams were calm and peaceful. When she woke, all she could remember was a brightly lit forest clearing mingled with the soft strings of music that had infiltrated her unconsciousness from the living room. A smile played over her lips - music meant that Axel was home. She listened in silence, content in the knowledge of the presence in the other room as she lazed in bed, content beneath the covers.
She wasn’t sure how long it was between her waking and his sending to her mind, but it seemed like the song hadn’t yet changed. When she heard the rustle of cloth as her partner slipped into the room, she opened her eyes, greeting him with a smile.
“I’d love to come with you. What’s the occasion?” she asked as she reluctantly pushed back the covers and slipped from the bed, the thin night dress bunching around her hips. After adjusting the material, she made her way to the closet in search of appropriate clothing for the night.
<Axel Rosen> Looking over his shoulder he doesn’t seem at all surprised that she has been there. He could sense her there the entire time, even if he has been suppressing his powers and skill. It is an underlying ability that one can never fully negate in such close quarters. His head turns around to look at her for a brief moment, though it is long enough to notice the small ring of clothing around her hips. That is, before it is fixed and flattened down. “She asked me to be the first there at her new place. I don’t want her to spend the first bit of the first night in it alone.” It’s a true statement that leaves his lips, if there is one group of people he has compassion for it’s family. The black eyes, though unnoticable, follow her as she moves to the closet.
He hopes that his words make sense and don’t seem overly emotional toward his childe, but it’s mainly because he knows the negative thing that she lives with in her mind. That other voice, that he is constantly trying to block out, except for when he sleeps. Perhaps if he were to pull her into a dream, or go into hers? Could he finally see the thing that is there tormenting her. The thought passes and he pulls out a black shirt with skeleton in a red robe with a torch, the shirt says on the back ‘American Psycho’. It’s rather faded from time and then a pair of jeans that have holes in them. He eyes the woman for a second to see what she picks out.
<Phoenix> She listened to the explanation, weighing it versus clothing choice. It wasn’t a formal event by any means, and so she planned accordingly. “Renee moved into a new place? Good for her. I think the independence will do her some good - maybe force her to be a bit more outgoing, anyway.” Of course she didn’t know about Renee’s voice - at least not yet. She was oblivious to the woman’s plight and wouldn’t be upset Axel hadn’t shared it with her when she did find out - it, after all, was not her business.
A smile played over her lips as she picked through the closet, darting a glance to her partner after he’d changed. Clearly this was casual, and so she went with a sheer, oversized turquoise shirt over simple black tank top, and paired it with a pair of dark wash skinny jeans. Once she’d undressed, redressed and ensured her shirt was belted at the waist, her eyes flicked to Axel. “Are we going now?” Without waiting for an answer, she tiptoed to the other closet where she’d been amassing a collection of boots. She felt she should feel somewhat guilty for having taken up so much closet space at every place they shared, but… well, she didn’t. The black knee high suede boots were pulled on and zipped up.
<Axel Rosen> Phoenix picks out the clothes that she will be wearing and she’s dressed just as casually as he is, but there is a bit more color in her attire than his. Axel has always been one to prefer blacks, whites, and reds. The contrast in the colors between them is rather funny, but not in a laughing way. No it’s funny in an odd, look at how different the two of them look, way. “Yes we’ll be leaving as soon as we’re ready.” The words are said with a bit of readiness as he moves to put on a pair of boots and a leather jacket. The jacket is one that he wears often, it has studs all over the shoulders and down the front. He looks at her as she zips up her boots. His eyes glance over those boots a few times before looking back to her. “Whenever you’re ready.”
The male makes his way toward the door, picking up a pair of sunglasses on his way there so that he can cover up the pupiless eyes. When the arrive at the apartment he has made plans to summon a human for the group of them to, feast upon then kill. It’s only proper. Instead of placing his massive sword on his belt, instead he takes two handguns and a few knives. It’s always good to be prepared. He stands at the door, waiting for her, but not impatiently. They’re immortal, all they have is time.
<Phoenix> “Are you implying I’m slow?” she asked, shooting him a playful glare
even as she stood to look out the window, frowning at what she saw. Snow. Lots of ******* snow. Why wasn’t winter over yet? Having to wear a jacket when you weren’t cold was just obnoxious, but the snow just kept piling on. With a sigh, she went to the closet for her jacket and yanked it on. Once she seemed sufficiently prepared to deal with the cold that she couldn’t feel, the woman joined her partner at the door.
Unlike her partner, she didn’t feel the need to burden herself with weapons - if push came to shove, she could use the dagger she carried or just steal one of the arsenal Axel carried. She carefully brushed past the man and slipped out the door, waiting for him in the hall. Once he’d followed her out, she leaned over to press a kiss to his cheek before hooking her arm with his. “You know where we’re going, so please lead the way, you handsome devil.” As she spoke, her eyes glinted warmly in the muted lighting of the hall, each word laced with affection.
<Axel Rosen> Implying that she’s slow, no he would assumes that she’s just as fast if not faster than him. He’s rather dexterous and rather agile, but her credentials place her well above him in means of physical training. Though it’s not his fault, she got a head start in a way. He’s never quite asked her when she was turned, he thinks as he looks to her when she’s making her way toward him. As she slips through the door he steps out with her and closes the door behind him. Her lips press to his cheek and he grins. It’s almost as if a spell comes over him as the kiss goes to his skin. It is only a few seconds after that he masks this melted expression with that same cold-hard exterior that he usually displays to the world. Her words do make it hard though.
Leading her toward the elevator and pressing the button his hand moves down and laces his fingers with hers. He’s not really that big of a fan of public affection unless it’s decent or hidden away from others. Her shadows could hide them if something affectionate really needed to be taken care of, and if the shadows couldn’t they could just go home. He eyes at her before the elevator ‘dings’ and the doors open before them and he motions for her to take a step first. Following after her he nods. The doors close and then he smiles a little. “We’re going to Corvidae.” He’s not sure what her feelings are about Renee living in Corvidae, but in all honesty it’s not Axel’s favorite place that were to be picked from. West Towers is one of the better places in his mind, but he won’t tell Renee what to do.
The elevator gets to the ground and the doors open before he wanders out before her this time. The hand that held hers one moment ago, whips back and then opens to take her hand again. His head turns back to her. “Shouldn’t take too long, beautiful.” He smirks, offering her the same affection.

Re: They want to play (invite)
--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
<Phoenix> She saw the effect the kiss had on him, and that was enough. If he wanted to hide behind a mask of neutrality, she wasn’t going to stop him. It just meant she cherished the moments he left his true feelings shine through all the more. She kept pace with him as they made their way to the elevator, happy to twine her fingers with his while they waited for it to arrive. In fact, she was happy in general when he was around - happiness and the way she felt in his presence were as addictive as any drug.
“Such a gentleman,” she commented as he let her step inside the elevator first. Once he’d informed her where they were headed, her nose scrunched up in distaste. She didn’t mind the quarantine zone - she could walk across the water, after all. Since she was with Axel, however, they’d have to traipse through the sewers. “I wore my nice boots,” she groaned, dreading the walk through the half-frozen sludge and human waste trickling through the sewer canals during the winter.
As she steps out of the elevator, her brow furrowed in thought, she barely noticed his hand move away and back into hers. There must have been a better way to go about getting to Corvidae. What if… She stopped that train of thought and simply said it aloud. “What if we walk to the edge of the river, I walk across and then I’ll summon you over - that way we don’t have to get all mucky in the tunnels.” Nodding excitedly, she kept pace with him as they crossed the lobby and exited the building, “Are you driving or are we taking the transit? We can take my car...” It wasn’t the best weather for a motorcycle, but she did have the keys to her Impala, which she’d parked nearby the night before. Damn white car blended in with the damn white snow. She huffed.
<Axel Rosen> Nice boots they are indeed, but he doesn’t have anything to say about them just yet, he’d wait to make statements about them until he gets her alone. The male just grins and nods his head up and down once before he steps with her, almost in step. It’s not hard to be in step with her because her boots click against floor of the lobby and he turns his head to her as she gives her proposition of a better way to get there. Being summoned across the water would be fine to him, he almost forgot that she could do that thing. Then again, maybe he might be able to learn that power at some point, though he’s not sure.
“I can drive us.” He states about driving in her car. He can pilot the vehicle from Honeymead to Bullwood so that they can execute this plan of theirs. Once the two of them are outside in the snow he turns to face her and opens his other hand in her direction. The hand is open for the keys, of course so that he can start the ignition and that they can be on their way. He eyes back at her and then breathes out, walking backwards his one hand still in hers.
<Phoenix> Knowing her boots would be safe for another night pleased her greatly - the were just material possessions, but she’d broken these ones in and having them ruined wasn’t very high on her to do list. Axel approved of her plan and so she fished her keys from her coat pocket with her free hand and unlocked the car’s front doors. Really, she just wanted the headlights to flash so she could spot the vehicle. Everyone seemed to have white cars... When the headlights flashed across the street, she nudged her backwards walking partner towards it.
As soon as she’d deposited the keys in Axel’s hand, she took the opportunity to lean in and steal another kiss from his lips. She lingered there for a moment, enjoying the moment despite the winter weather. There wasn’t anyone around, so she didn’t mind the mild display of affection and figure he wouldn’t either. Afterwards, she reluctantly released his hand and made her way around the vehicle to slip into the passenger side.
The drive across town was a short one at this hour with no traffic to impede their progress. She leaned back in her seat and let herself be absorbed in idle chatter until the car came to a final halt. After stepping out, she gestured to the river’s opposite bank. “I won’t be a minute,” she stated before darting off across the waters, using her powers to ensure she was concealed from prying eyes. Once on the other side, she closed her eyes and summoned Axel across the way, trusting he’d had time to lock the car doors before she’d pulled him over. “You locked it… right?” Even though she trusted him, she had to ask.
<Axel Rosen> The feeling of being summoned isn’t one that he feels he will ever get used to. It’s like having your entire body pulled through the eye of a needle. He assumes that this disdain for the sometimes necessary task is why he hasn’t learned how to teleport yet. Perhaps his subconscious doesn’t want him teleporting all over the city in his sleep, as its bad enough that he wakes up in the ruinous tattoo parlour that his sire used to own and do tattoos in. It is because of this reason that he seems a bit dazed when she speaks to him about locking doors. Hearing the words, he took a second to acknowledge them. “Yes. Yes I did.” He remembers the first and second time that he has been summoned. Both times were by Meka, but the second time was most inopportune, because he was brushing his teeth in nothing but his boxers. The good news is that the two of them were having a fling at the time. With a nod, he makes his way toward Corvidae, the only memory there is being attacked by Madison.
There are no zombies or ferals around. The outside of the area seems to be quiet, lacking the sound of shuffled footsteps or shambling corpses. It’s rather a disappointment, but he assumes that the clothes he’s wearing should be unsoiled when he meets with his childe. The two of them make their way to the door, he looks back to Nix. Silently he opens the door and there are the zombies and ferals that he had thought would be here. They turn their heads toward them. Unimpressed with them, his hand moves in a dismissive wave toward the far wall. The power he’s using takes less concentration than it used to. The tremors that roll out from him toward the lesser undead creatures is like a wave that pushes them backward causing them to fall. A smug look comes over his face before he moves with her toward the elevator.
He presses the button on the elevator shaft, then waits for the door to open. Again he looks over at her, down the length of her body. From hair to boots, that smug smirk only remains. Being a vampire, since his turning is rather impressing for more than one reason. Pulling her into the elevator he pushes the button again for the floor the two of them are going to. His arms wrap around her waist, because the alone time proves that they could be somewhat affectionate for the time being. They could take the elevator up this way, he hopes.
<Phoenix> “Good.” Assured that the vehicle was safe, she followed Axel across the snowy ground, picking her way through the street as best she could. One thing about it being a deserted sector was the lack of snow removal. Those honey brown eyes took in the buildings surrounding them and she couldn’t keep the frown from her lips. Nearly three years had passed since the lockdown, and nothing much had changed in all that time, save for the slow, painful decay of the infrastructure. Although the perimeter was maintained, the soldiers never patrolled the streets. Any paths through the snow where a sidewalk hid beneath its crisp white blanket were made by undead feet
Nix’s grip on Axel’s arm was partially because she enjoyed his proximity, but also to steady herself as the heels of her boots sank through the packed down snow. As soon as they were inside, she was grateful for the solid ground beneath her feet and paid no mind to the zombies, not even after they were pushed backwards. They were no threat to the pair, and so she shot her partner one of those chastising glares, but a smile softened the look as she stepped into the elevator.
“Show off,” she muttered as she sank against his chest, only vaguely aware that he’d hit a button. “I saw you doing that undressing me with your eyes thing!” She had no clue where they were going other than up, but while the doors remained shut, she was perfectly content to take advantage of the time alone. But then after only a brief kiss, the damn doors slid open. With a dragging reluctantly, she stepped out to the elevator and let Axel guide her to the proper door. And they knocked.
<Phoenix> She saw the effect the kiss had on him, and that was enough. If he wanted to hide behind a mask of neutrality, she wasn’t going to stop him. It just meant she cherished the moments he left his true feelings shine through all the more.

Re: They want to play (invite)
"****!" one of the voices said "Someones here...We need to wake her up."
"Or we just leave her alone for now and see what happens." said another voice.
"Just shut up and do the thing. It might wake her back up."
"Nah I'm going to leave her like this they will go away after a while."
"Wake...her...up...NOW!"
"Alright alright I'll try gees....She should be dead anyway."
"Just do it she's vampire, they are not like the humans you are use to messing with."
"Fine."
She heard a loud screech and then a pounding. Her head was killing her. She felt like she was laying down but was not sure why or how she had ended up this way. She lay there a second longer before the pounding started again. She moved her hand up to head and to make sure that wasn't something hitting her in the head.
"Say 'come in.' "
She still had not opened her eyes as she said took the advice of the voice she had just heard
"Come in." She cleared her throat "Come in." She said slightly louder.

Re: They want to play (invite)
His childe’s voice come from the other side of the door and ti takes a minute for it to come out and hit his ears. This worries him and he turns his head to look at Nix. The worry is evident on his face. He knows that the voices in her head have been bothering her but it’s been a while since the two of them have talked about it. His hand reaches out and he opens the door. His eyes look around the room, trying to find his childe, as that is the purpose for his coming here. She invited him to come visit her at this place so that he could see it. He also wants to check in on her so that he can gauge how things are going with the voices in her head. You’d think she were a natural telepath with the way she hears things all the time. He doesn’t see her first off exactly. Axel knows that she’s here as he takes one inhale of air, and knows which direction to start looking for her. He takes point and starts making his way in that direction. “Renee?” His voice is the only way he has a means to really speak to her but he tries to speak into her mind.

Re: They want to play (invite)
Phoenix wasn't worried when she heard Renee, but that changed when she saw Axel's expression. A frown creased her brow as she eyed her partner, silently mouthing a 'What?'. She didn't know why she hadn't just asked aloud, but she felt like shutting up was the proper course of action - at least until she figured out what Axel had heard to worry him so.
The redhead let her partner enter the apartment first. After all, Renee was his childe and she, despite being the woman's great grandsire, was practically a stranger. Once inside, out of respect for the new apartment and its owner, Nix kicked off her boots, which had her lose a good three inches off her height. As Axel went off in search of Renee, Nix loitered in the entryway, letting those honey brown eyes flick over the apartment's furnishings. Although it felt strange to linger in someone else's living room, the other option was to trail after her man, but that seemed hopelessly clingy and potentially intrusive, especially since she hadn't explicitly been asked to tag along - at least not by Renee.
"Is she alright?" she whispered just loud enough for him to hear.

Re: They want to play (invite)
She hears a voice and it takes her a second to realize that this one is not in heard, or is it. It is almost as if it is both. It says 'Renee'. She has to think who is Renee. It sounds familiar but she is unsure. The voice itself is very familiar to her though she has no clue why. It seems to fill her with comfort though she is unsure why.
She rolls over onto her stomach, before she pushes herself up onto her feet. She rubs her aching head as she goes to round the corner to see where the voice is coming from and who it is.
"Who is Renee and who are you?" She says before even seeing where ever the voice was.

Re: They want to play (invite)
As he sees her, rolling over on her side as she lays on the ground, it worries him. There is something, though, that worries him far more. Her words as she speaks, the question that falls from her tongue is makes him turn around. He doesn't turn around in order to ignore her, but because something is wrong and he intends to figure it out without any interruptions of the investigation. On his way past Nix, the look on his face has changed from he near expressionless features he usually has, but is now a look of uncertainty. He knows that his childe has voices in her head, but is unsure of what could come of them. Once past his significant other, he's never really sure what to call her when referring to their relationship in public, he stands into the hallway of the building. With his powers he claims the building from his childe so that she cannot leave the apartment. Sure, the woman could easily teleport out of the room, but he could have Nix summon her back. It takes more effort to teleport than it does to summon. Finally, after he has a grip on the building, he walks back into the room and closes the door.
He's not sure if it's common, it could be, if the voices that she hears in her head are able to make her forget who she is. Perhaps it's a mental disorder that has transferred over after her death and turning. Maybe it's something new from all the death that she has witnessed as being a vampire. The bloodshed of kindred and humans alike. He tilts his head to the side as he makes his way toward her. "Renee is your name", he answers the first question, because he feels that's more important than who he and Phoenix are. Once it is answered he moves to help her up off the ground, offering his hand. "I am Axel, your sire, and the woman behind me is Phoenix, your great-grandsire." The way it's termed is rather weird because it makes Nix sound old, but in reality he's far older than she is.
It is starting to bother him, as the feeling of worry turns into guilt. He remembers the night that Renee told him about the voices, and he told her that he didn’t know much about it. He doesn’t, still doesn’t, he’s not even sure how a vampire goes baout having voices in their head, other than telepath voices that are just trying to mess with them. He looks at her, hand still extended outward. When she told him he told her he would do his best, and he doesn’t feel that he has. He has done research, seems almost every book he reads has something to do with the mind and how it works. He’s almost completely stopped writing. His eyes look down into hers and he waits for her to take his hand. He wishes there were something he could do to help her, because it appears that him speaking in her mind on a regular basis to squelch out the other voices isn’t working.

Re: They want to play (invite)
Honey brown eyes followed Axel as he went to the hallway and came back. Of course she'd heard Renee's denial of her own identity, and her lack of recognition of her own sire, but she was hard pressed to know whether or not any of this was normal. It certainly didn't seem normal. The look on Axel's face was hardly one of confidence in the face of this situation and, despite her many lapses in judgement, the redhead had never forgotten who she was. This type of thing was way out of both their league.
She trailed after her partner, letting him deal with this as best he could without interfering. Renee was far more acquainted with Axel than she was with Nix, so it only made sense. Once Axel had spoken to Renee, reminding her of who she was, Nix leaned in, lips nearly pressed to Axel's ear.
"Maybe we should take her somewhere safe... The hospital? If she doesn't get any better, I mean."
No, she really had no clue how to deal with mental illness.

Re: They want to play (invite)
The woman looks at the hand offered to her for a moment before take it. As she takes the hand she feels a sort of spark or warmth that does calm her. The man the hand belongs to says that she is Renee and that he is Axel and this other woman is Phoenix. He says something about him being her Sire and this other woman is her great-grand Sire. She has no idea what that means really. She looks at their faces and she is still unsure as to who they are. She looks about to the man "What is a 'Sire'" She feels that she should know more then she does but she is lost. Even as to who she is. He says she is Renee but is that true...She trys to think back as to what she can remember but there is nothing other then what has just happend, the voices and what she thinks is a dream and darkness.
