Staff Changes

Post by PoeticPuppy »

The Path of the Vampire Moderation Team has undergone some restructuring in the past few days which I am sure you have all noticed by now. We would have made this announcement sooner but wished to hear back from all those involved as to whether or not they wished to accept their new responsibilities before making anything public.

Firstly we would like to thank Momento and Amaranthia for everything they have done to date. Path would not be what it is without their support and dedication. Their input as part of the Moderation Team will be missed but we support them in whatever it is they wish to do next, whether it's throwing themselves into the game with a new vigour or taking their leave of it in pursuit of other things. Thank you ladies!

Without administrators, the task of sending warning and banning players (when necessary) now falls to those in the Moderator group. Please treat them gently, as while many are seasoned moderators, they are taking on a few new responsibilities. A few role changes have also occurred among the Moderator group and as such it is my pleasure to announce that...
  • Pi dArtois has been made a full moderator and will be keeping her title of Chat Mod. Pi has always had slightly more responsibility than a general electorate moderator as she has access to the chatlogs. This change in groups merely reflects this fact and allows her to more easily manage any responsibilities regarding chats.
  • Velia has accepted the role of Private Board Mod. She was recently made General Moderator but with the admins both stepping down it was essential to find someone to fulfil this role.
While the Path of the Vampire Moderation Team has undergone a restructuring, the way in which we operate and deal with reports has not. A short guide to writing reports and what happens after you send them, has been added to the rules in an effort to generate more faith in the Team and the system as a whole. Each and every report we receive is looked at and voted on. No report is ever closed without a majority decision being reached.
