<Klara> Klara sighed loudly. “Because Crissy hates me because after I had my sire killed I swore allegiance to Wolfgang West. Apparently she had issues with the Wests and hates me even thought I have no friggin clue as to what happened. Simon and I have been together for a year and he’s had a history of a bit of a problem with faithfulness but so far had been. I had to leave the city for some family business for a while and apparently he got lonely and Lyana got all chummy. His sire keeps telling him to leave me. I heard there was some scene that happened at some Christmas party. Simon said it was nothing others have hinted it was something but no one will tell me what happened. Crissy had a contract put out on her shortly after all this came to my attention and my guess is she is thinking it was me that placed it. The bounty list hadn’t really been touched, and we all know they pick and choose their targets on that list and when I landed there this morning I was taken out even though there are people who have been there for over a month. “ Klara took another deep breath. “Please if you know anything about the party or anything I’d appreciate it if you’d tell me. I love him but sometimes I think he’d be better off without me.”

<Madison> "Lyana is my childe," Madison admitted to Klara. She felt a pang of sympathy for the other woman. While she had never been in such a situation, she could only imagine what it was like. Luckily for her, as far as she knew, Blake and Mike had always been faithful to her while she was with them. "I saw Simon inside my Lyana's apartment one night, she told me they were just friends. And then I heard about what happened at the Christmas party. Cristiana had made it seem like Lyana thought there was something more between her and Simon than just friendship, but Cristiana said also that this has been a problem with Simon before and she wasn't happy with him. When I talked to Lyana about it again, she continued to tell me that nothing had ever happened between them and they were simply friends. I don't believe she was lying to me and I know she's involved with someone else now."

<Klara> Klara was speechless for several long moments. Shock actually. She took her time gathering her thoughts. “I believe there was nothing more than a flirtation between the two myself. I do think once she found out he was engaged that the flirtation cooled down. Crissy should have told me and let Simon and I work out between us but she always has to butt in and make things worse. I know he told her about the Christmas party and invited her. He said it wasn’t a date but I explained that by not asking your own fiancé and meeting another woman no matter what the truth was people would think otherwise and he realized it had been a huge mistake to not have had me there with him. I honestly don’t care if he and Lyana are friends. I know she’s with another and he’s with me and as stupid as it sounds I do trust him. He may get tempted but there’s a big difference between temptation and cheating. “ She bit her lip before asking, “What happened at the party that had Crissy yelling publicly about it? I know he bit her but what else happened?”

<Madison> "He bit her!?" Madison asked with an incredulous tone. Was Simon a necurat? She had thought Tytonidae to be firmly against those who drank the blood of their own kind but still, many didn't attack another for it unless blood was taken unwillingly. Madison shook her head, "I don't know what else happened, I wasn't there. All I know was that there was an argument that took place and that Simon and Cristiana were involved. I kind of put two and two together to figure out that the other woman was my Lyana."

<Klara> "Apparently it was a flirtatious bite. Something he should not have done obviously. I should have come back more but we kept missing one another. He's got pressure with his family to leave me and a natural weakness for straying so it was a bad combination. We have talked through our problems, I told him I'd like to meet Lyana and I don't mind a friendship between the two but no flirting. But I'm a target for the Tyt because of Crissy and frankly I'm tired of it." She sighed again. "I truly hold no ill will towards Lyana and I do believe them"

<Madison> "Oh, that kind of bite," Madison replied, a lot more relaxed now. That kind of bite wasn't much better given the circumstances. Both would get a person killed if the wrong people knew. "How does Simon deal with all of this? I mean, the fact that you feel Cristiana and Quoth hate you? Do you really think they would have you killed if it meant he might turn away from them?"

<Klara> "That's just it. He won't. Crissy has turned her back on him, just for us to be together we had to have 6 months with no sex, no private dates, all had to be in the open and i had to work for her. After that she said she'd give her blessing. We did as we were asked and after 6 months he proposed. We've been together for over a year now and still she won't budge but she knows that no matter what he'll never leave her. If it came down to her giving him an ultimatum to choose her or I. I honestly think he would choose her. She knows how much control she has over him."

<Madison> Madison shook her head softly. She didn't understand how Klara could put up with something like that. Again, she'd been lucky. Neither her nor Mike had anything to do with their parents so when they had gotten engaged, there was no one to complain, gripe or cause problems. The same with Blake though their relationship had never even gotten to the stage where they told each other that they loved one another. Madison tilted her head to the side slightly and looked at Klara curiously, "Is that something you truly are okay with being around for eternity? I believe you when you say you love him, you must if you continue to stay with him through all of these problems but when do you get to the point that enough is enough? Do you think that they will ever change their minds about you?"

<Klara> Klara bowed her head swiping at tears. "It's hard. It's hard knowing you're not welcome at certain functions. We did talk when I found out about Lyana whether we should break up. I just want him happy. If that means he needs to be free to do what he wants I would walk away just to see him happy as much as it would kill me." She shrugged and sighed "They won't even give me a chance to show them who I really am and I'm not what they think. I do fear that one day it will break us apart. I haven't heard from Simon in days and to be honest I'm not sure I have anything to go back to when my stint down here is over."

<Madison> "I could reach out to him if you'd like," Madison offered, she hadn't looked that closely at Klara to figure out if the other woman had the ability to communicate through the veil like she did. It may seem a bit weird for them to have to communicate through Madison though and she wouldn't be offended if Klara turned her down. "I'm a telepath, I can still send and receive emails down here and talk to people in their heads."

<Klara> "I've sent him messages. If he wants to talk to me he will answer me. I have the power of telepathy. Crissy did some ritual to him and burdened him and hurt him. I think he's taking time to heal. I just got down here tonight so I'm sure I'll hear from him soon and he will come see me." She smiled saying a little too brightly "And if he doesn't then I guess I might have answer as to how he wants to proceed without relationship. Thank you for the offer. I do appreciate it."

<Madison> "Don't assume he wants to end the relationship if he doesn't come down here to see you," suggested Madison. She was curious to why Cristiana would harm her own childe but perhaps there were reasons for it so she wasn't going to pass judgment about it. That didn't stop her from peeking in on Simon's memories though. Right after the burdening, there was an inspire after so whatever it was, it couldn't have been that bad. "I hope he does get in touch with you though so it eases your mind."

<Klara> Klara sighed, thankful that she had found Madison. "I'm thinking the best. I know he's getting hell and has his own things he is having to deal with. I know he loves me and each time we go through these times it seems to bond us closer. I just wish I could have a relationship that isn't complicated."

<Madison> 'At least you have someone who loves you,' Madison thought quietly to herself as she forced a smile to her face for Klara's sake, "I think we all hope for relationships that aren't complicated. But it seems that everything about being a vampire can get rather complicated, doesn't it?"

<Klara> Klara laughed "Yes you're right. Seems like the simplest things get completely ruined."

<Madison> Madison smiled and nodded, "Unfortunately so. I think I'm going to go hunting for spirits if you don't mind. I should be getting to leave here soon hopefully but perhaps I will see you again before I do. I hope you heal quickly Klara and it's regretful that I met you under such circumstances. Perhaps we'll have to do this when we both have flesh on our bones. Keep your head up and your hopes high."

<Klara> Klara smiled gratefully at her kind words. "Yes, we run into one another down but if not I will see you on the other side. Good luck with your plans. There has to be a way to beat them so they will stop using the law to cover their dirty deeds. You've given me courage to fight to leave this place. I don't know what the future holds, only that I love him with my entire being and I do hope for miracles. We will talk again. Be safe down here and again I am sorry for the attack."

With a dip of her head in goodbye, Madison turned away from Klara and started to move in the direction she had originally come from. Adrian was hopefully still in the area somewhere. Opening up the connection between their minds she called to him. Letting him know that she needed his help.

Klara moved in the opposite direction, her mind spinning on the things that Madison had told her. She knew Simon better than his sire but she had even more questions for him, about other things and he was the only person that could answer them for her.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Madison: Madison had found a doorway to the living world. She'd passed quite a few of them in the last eight days but hadn't bothered with any of them until now, knowing that she wouldn't be able to pass through them. Tonight she had decided to try. Tytonidae had already started checking up on her, probably trying to tell when she had left so they could kill her again. But she decided to try anyways. She wouldn't resign to hiding in the shadow realm out of fear of being sent there again. The door would not let her through though. Banging her fists against it, Madison cried out in frustration, "What the flying ****!?"

Alexis Gainsborough: Alex had passed many doors over the past few days. This was her first time here but she knew it would not be the last. She has tried the doors and peaked through the windows but nothing seemed to work so she had given up on that for the time being. Her wounds were starting to heal and she figured once she gained strength she could return and find out why she had been sent here. She heard another voice, it had been so long since the last time she saw another move that had more then just a spirits form. "Hello?" She called out just a little louder then her normal voice.

Madison: A fist fell down against the invisible barrier that confined her within the shadow realm. If she had a physical body, Madison probably would have felt the need to suck in air out of effort. Instead she only felt an overwhelming sense of tiredness. Her non-physical form slumped up against the doorway. A voice spoke out, the sound of someone questioning if another was there. She looked up, her eyes scanning the area around her, looking for the source of the voice. It was hard to tell in the shadow realm sometimes whether one was seeing something in the distance or if it was just a trick of the darkness but Madison was sure that the figure she could see wasn't a trick of the shadows. Getting up she moved towards it cautiously as many vampiric spirits were apt to attack others. As she drew nearer she answered the call with one of her own, "Hello?"

Alexis Gainsborough:  Alex wondered if she had just been in a bad dream for all this time, everything felt so off. She turned around looking for the sound that she had heard a moment before. It was so hard to see anything here. Maybe it was just her mind playing games with her or maybe it was something else but she scanned looking for anything that might feel real in the place. Hearing the voice again she spun around facing the direction. "Is someone there?" She said and blindly headed towards the sound unsure of how near she may be.

Madison: "Yes, I'm here," Madison told the spirit. The voice was female as far as she could tell but not one that she recognized. Moving closer she tried to see if there were any distinguishable features about the spirit that she might know but of course there wasn't. Madison stopped when she was a few feet away from the other, still unsure if this soul was a friendly one or not. "Who are you?"

Alexis Gainsborough:  Alex stopped when the figure before her took some shape, it was not quite what she expected so she stopped where she was. "Hello... I am Alex... um... where are we?" She asked keeping a little distance because she was still very unsure of this place. She had only come across a few spirits while she was here and nothing that would speak back to her. "Its so cold here...."

Madison: "Alex?" the telepath questioned. Immediately Madison grew worried and checked the memories of her best friend Alexandrea. Reading nothing out of the ordinary there, Madison used her other powers to check on her friend's blood levels and abilities. Perhaps Alex had come to visit with her without letting her know. But upon seeing her friend full and the powers of the fadewalker were not something that Alexandrea possessed, Madison became a bit confused. Especially when the other spirit didn't know where they were. This definitely wasn't her Alex.

"We're in the shadow realm," said Madison, "It's where we go when we die. This must be your first time. My name is Madison."

Alexis Gainsborough:  "The shadow realm...? I'm dead... so is this where I spend the rest of my days?" She asked unsure. She took a step back from Madison as she thought about it all. "how did I die..." She muttered to herself just loud enough for Madison to hear. A moment passed. "First time? So we can leave?"

Madison: "No," Madison shook her head, "Not the rest of your days." Due to her talking, she almost missed the muttered question that Alex had asked herself. She stayed quiet for a moment, letting the woman come to grips with what she had just told her and waited for the questions she was sure to come. And when they did come, Madison shook her head again, only this time affirmatively, "Yes, we don't stay dead. After a week, you have to find a door. They're not really doors per say but weak spots in the veil between this world and that of the living. Usually you're supposed to be able to go back after a week has passed."

Alexis Gainsborough: "Oh I wonder what will happen in a weeks time... Oh god what is going to happen to my body then..." A chill cut through her as she though about it for a moment. When she returned what would be waiting for her. "I wonder if anyone even knows I'm here." She said letting out a little sigh. "So you must be dead two then or did you step through the door yourself?"

Madison: "What happens to your body depends on what path you started off as when you became a vampire," Madison informed her. She wondered how it was that no one had taught Alex about any of this. Using her mind, she connected to the CrowNet and checked the obituary listings. There was only one Alex in the past few days that had been killed, one Alexis Gainsborough. Using that information, Madison disconnected from the CrowNet and tapped it Alexis' memories. She knew what to expect seeing who had posted the obituary but it still made her frown. "Yes, I'm dead too. By the same people who killed you but for entirely different reasons. Did you know you were on the bounty list?"

Alexis Gainsborough: " I know that and that is what scares me... "She said thinking about things for a moment and everything she had learned. Alex nodded. "Yes I know I was on the list. I was careless one day. I did not expect one simple infraction to turn out like this... Seems I need to be more careful."

Madison: "You've never been on the bounty list before?" Madison asked, somewhat surprised. From what she had read on the CrowNet, Tytonidae was claiming that none of the people they killed were first time offenders. If Alexis had never been on the list before, that would be a lie. To check up on her own facts, Madison reconnected to the CrowNet and searched for the thread that Niklaus had started from before when the bounty list was different to check his documentation.

Alexis Gainsborough: Alex shook her head. "Not that I know of... If I had been on the list before this was the first time I learned of it. well unless setting off an alarm trying to grab a few packs of smokes count?" She smiled but she didn't know if anyone other then herself would know that. "If you do not mind me asking what are you in for?"

Madison: As far as Madison could tell, Alexis was telling the truth. She had never before been on the old version of the bounty list. Unfortunately Madison had forgotten to keep up on the list within the past few days so she wasn't sure if Alex had managed to make it onto that one twice somehow within the last week. She knew for a fact the other woman hadn't been on it in the few days after Madison had died herself. "The only way that would count is if someone had seen you," she told her, "And I'm in here because I stood up to Tytonidae and attacked them for a few weeks because they had started killing people needlessly and I was done sitting around and doing nothing about it. They're the ones that killed you too."

Alexis Gainsborough: "Oh so are they some kind of bounty hunters or something? I know my name was on the list I wonder who funded the bounty I figured no one knows me, no one would care to fund it." She shrugged thinking about it for a moment. "It would be nice if they wrote me up a ticket or something first before they just killed me. Not much I can do now I guess. I need to make sure I am stronger next time... I can't let them kill me again that easy..." The tone in her voice becoming angry now as she thought about it all. It was not like she felt she did anything that wrong. "I must get stronger..." She muttered to herself again.

Madison: "Yes, they're a bounty hunting group but I doubt that your bounty was funded. They've been killing anyone who's on the list whether they are funded or not but they claimed to not have killed any first time offenders. Which you claiming and seeming to be a first time offender, makes them a bunch of liars on top of being blood-thirsty murderers." Madison wondered if Alexis would be interested in joining her in finding a new way to deal with the bounty list and standing up to Tytonidae but as always, she was a bit nervous about talking about her ideas to anyone that she didn't trust. She didn't know Alex and therefore didn't know what kind of connections she had.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Alexis Gainsborough: "Well they are just a bunch of thugs if you ask me. I mean come on it took how many of them to get me here and they got me while I was asleep. They could have just said hey be careful we are watching you and things would have been just fine." She let out another little sigh. "Well I guess I will just have to spend a few more days here and then return. Hopefully they don't come looking for me again, its really not fair having some people that old come looking for little old me. Oh well I am just babbling I am sorry. Its just been a few days and I haven’t seen another soul."

Madison: "It's alright," she reassured Alex. Madison honestly didn't mind the other woman's talking as it had completely distracted her from the fact that she was unable to exit the shadow realm. She was again curious to who Alex considered her family and now to how long Alex had been a vampire. "How long has it been since you were turned? Has your sire helped you adjust to life as a vampire at all?"

Alexis Gainsborough: "Oh not all that long. She's helped me out a little bit, normally she just comes to tell me I messed up and that I should be more careful with the things I do. Guess I should have listened to her a little bit more. Most of the stuff I learn I picked up for CrowNet or from seeing the cops chase after me." She said with a little giggle.

Madison: "That's it? Only when you mess up? Did she explain about the masquerade or the bounty system to you at all?" Madison probably shouldn't have been surprised to hear any of that. It seemed to happen frequently that vampires would sire others and then leave them to their own defenses. Madison did that to an extent to but she at least made sure that her childer knew what they were getting into when they became vampires and she tried to check up on them more often than just when they had done something wrong. "May I ask who your sire is?"

Alexis Gainsborough: "Yeah we went over a few things pretty quickly. I guess I didn't realize that it was that big of a deal. I guess your name goes on a different list if you do something like that over grabbing someones wallet." Alex was pretty good at figuring most things out so she didn't really think much about not being lead around and shown everything all at once. Her sire had treated her pretty well at least that was how she felt about it. She didn't really feel like saying so she ignored that last bit. "I just know I am going to have to do a lot more training after I get out of here. I cant get caught with my pants down again this place sucks."

Madison: Madison asking who Alex's sire was, was more a respectful request and formality. Being a telepath, she didn't need to ask for that kind of information. She could just use her powers to do so which is exactly what she did. Not impressed with the information that she came back with, Madison didn't say anything about it any further than she had. Instead she chose to question something else that Alex had said, "What do you mean a different list?"

Alexis Gainsborough: Alex knew there were plenty of ways to find the information but she didn't really want to go into it. There were a few more powers she wanted to explore but it would take some time before she got around to them . "Oh you know you do something bad you get a small mark on your name. Your good for a few days and it all goes away. If I could get onto the web I would show you but seeing as I don't have access to my body at the moment that would be a little troublesome."

Madison: Madison shook her head, "No, there's only two lists. Both of which there don't seem to be any way off them except dying or being crippled. There's the bounty list, which is where reports of masquerade violations go and then there's the hit list, which displays any funded bounties and any personal hits that others put on each other. If there's a third list, then it's not on the CrowNet."

Alexis Gainsborough: "Alright well maybe I am a little mixed up then. I just remember my name being on a list for beating up some thugs. The cops showed up at yeah there was some trouble but I kept my nose clean for a few days, helped a few old ladies across the street and I was off. The was when I was only this way for a few weeks so I may have been looking at something else. I am not really sure, I haven't really had trouble since then. " She said with a little smile.

Madison: Madison's brow furrowed in confusion. As far as she could see, killing gangsters didn't wind a person up on the bounty list anymore, but maybe only if another vampire spotted them. It was quite possible that most vampires wouldn't give two shits about the death of some of the city's thugs. Perhaps though Alexis was talking about the city's most wanted list. That didn't show up on the CrowNet since it was a human run thing, taken care of by the Harper Rock Police Department. "Well that's good you haven't had any other trouble since then but do you remember what landed you on the bounty list? The most common offenses seem to be getting caught feeding or using powers in front of humans."

Alexis Gainsborough: Alex nodded. She knew exactly why she was on the list and just hoped that she could lay low for a few days and things would blow over. A few days turned into a few weeks and her name was still up there. "Yeah it was just me being careless. It was the first time I tired feeding in someplace with that many people. It had been a few days since I had anything to eat and well I went around and few a few times and got caught a few times in the same day. Once I realized I was up there I was a little more cautious."

Madison: "I honestly can't remember the last time I was on the bounty list," Madison said to Alex, "I normally only feed from blood bags because then I know there's no way for me to be spotted or for me to pick the wrong person and have them turn out to be a hunter. Happened to me the last time I tried feeding on a living human other than my thrall." Madison was quiet for a few moments. With Alex being relatively newly turned and a first time offender, her brain may be of some worth to pick regarding a few topics. "Do you have any ideas about what a better way to go about the bounty list would be? Seems people think the answer to everything is to kill each other."

Alexis Gainsborough: "Blood bags? I didn't realize you could get those. I mean I have fed off of animals a bit but normally its just because they are around and not because I am hungry. I haven't run into a hunter yet but I suppose I should be careful of those as well." She watched as Madison got quiet for a moment. She knew what a thrall was but again didn't realize they were a real thing, she would have to do some research although her powers didn't seem to be useful in these respects. "Well obviously there could be some kind of warning the first time and perhaps some probation and not just death but it seems that people just need a reason to kill each other around here. Its almost as bad as when I was human. I don't know the humans deal with things well enough. They make people do work or pay money before they lock someone up and throw away the key unless they do something really bad."

Madison: Madison nodded when Alex questioned her use of blood bags, "Yeah, you can buy them at any of the vampire owned shops. They cost two-hundred bucks which sounds like a lot but when you're like we are, that relates to pocket change after awhile. To me it's worth the two-hundred than risk ending up down here." She listened to what Alex had to say about first time offenders. The suggestion hidden in what she was saying had been suggested before and Madison believed wholeheartedly that if vampires could work together, a penalty and prison type system could work. Something that wasn't so easily ignored as a week in the realm. Though why anyone would see the week in the shadow realm as a vacation was beyond Madison's comprehension.

"Hopefully one day people will look at things differently and realize that violence and death isn't the end all be all to our existance," Madison sighed, "But I was on my way to leave this hellhole when I heard you call out. I hope you heal quickly and return to the world of the living soon. Perhaps you should look me up when you get out. I prefer email over the phone though. It was nice meeting you Alexis."

Alexis Gainsborough:"That sounds like a little much but I don't really need money for as many things anymore. I might just look into that if nothing more if might be good to keep a few on hand should the need arise and I am unable to get food another way. " Alex thought about it for a moment before she spoke up again. "I just don't want to end up here again any time soon, this place is to cold and quiet for me and the idea of what will happen when I leave is more frightening then anything else."

Alex nodded. "I hope so but I do not see that happening any time soon. Although many of us lower vampires seem to be use to what a human life would be like and current human ideas would be like I feel like many of the others are stuck in the past and see things like then did back when knights ran around. It would take a lot to change there minds and I am not really sure that anything short of sending a few of them here and locking the door would work." Alex nodded again. "Feel free to look me up to. Email works for me. Best of luck and I hope to see you around. Ill be out of here soon."

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

Madison: She was panicked, the door to the shadow realm would not let her leave. It was almost as if her seven days weren't up yet but she knew that they were. It had been eight days according to the online clock in her head. Eight days in the realm. There shouldn't have been any reason that she couldn't leave. Madison didn't know why she reached out to Luffy first but she did so by opening the connection between their minds, her panicked voice infiltrating his head, "Luffy! Luffy, I can't leave. Why can't I leave!?"

Luffy: Luffy was elbow deep cleaning out the garden in the converted guest bathroom. After his talk with his dead friends he had begun the process of purging his past in Harper Rock. The old photos had started up the fireplace, and now the garden was getting shredded. Metal blasted through the apartment as he worked. Then he heard a voice scream out in his head. "Ow ow ow. Jesus Madison, use your in brain voice. What do you mean you can't leave?"

Madison: "I'm stuck in the shadow realm!" she cried, though in a tone much quieter than she had just been. The telepath hadn't meant to scream in his head but in her panic she hadn't realized how forceful she had pushed those thoughts through to Luffy. Madison was scared for the first time in a long time. The only other person she knew who had trouble escaping the realm had been Reilly but the d'Artois had never figured out why.

Luffy: "I saw a lot of doors there when I was wandering around. Can you not enter them?" He was extremely confused that she couldn't get out of the Shadow Realm. "Are you having trouble finding a door down there?" He tossed a bunch of plants into a large black trash bag and stretched.

Madison: "This is the second one I've found tonight. Neither one would let me pass. It's like my time isn't up yet but I've been here for over a week!" Madison got up and started wandering around the shadow realm. Her mind coming up with the only explanation that seemed reasonable, someone was blocking off the doors like they did other parts of the realm. Perhaps she could find one that hadn't been tampered with.

Luffy: "It's been over a week. Jesus I have been in one hell of a daze then. Sorry i've been out of it for a while now." He leaned against the wall and tried to think. "I don't know much about the doors myself. I just went and poofed back on this side? It seems to be a power I have." He scratched his head. "That is just weird."

Madison: "Eight days if you want to get technical." Madison was starting to grow calmer, convincing herself that it had to be the work of a fadewalker keeping her from escaping the shadow realm. "I'm searching for another door now. I thought maybe someone else had blocked off the exits. The two that I found were relatively close to one another."

Luffy: "Two doors in a row isn't normal. There's got to be something else going on Madison. Do you not have the power that allows you to leave on your own?" It was probably an odd question to ask someone on a normal day. But when was there a normal day in this town.

Madison: "I don't think so?..." Madison's question tapered off at the end. She hadn't known there was a power that allowed people to leave on their own from the shadow realm. It was worth a shot though. Focusing in on herself, Madison closed her eyes and imagined herself in the living world, willing herself to go there. When she opened her eyes back up she found that she was still in the darkness of the realm. "I'm pretty sure I'm not able to do that."

Luffy: "Damn. I wonder how we get you out then. I could come get you out. I don't mind spending a week down there to help someone else." He stared at his dirty hands then back at the tub. "Damn, I should just rip the whole thing out and get a new one."

Madison: "No, no killing yourself to come down here unless you have the ability to fadewalk but still, I wouldn't ask you to do that for me," Madison told him. She for sure didn't want him getting himself killed to come down and help her. What would happen if this wasn't just a problem for her but for everyone? What if no one else was coming back from the realm either? But Luffy had said he had the ability to leave when he wanted to. Madison fretted over the thought about taking him up on his offer. She was brought back to the conversation when he started talking about ripping things. "Wait what? Ripping what out and getting a new what?"

Luffy: "Sorry, I forgot you can hear all my thoughts right now. I'm cleaning the garden I made from the tub in my guest bath. I'm purging my past so to speak. Time to move on by getting back to my roots. I don't have Fadewalking powers. So I'd have to physically die to help you out."

Madison: "Then no," she told him, her voice stern in his mind. "I will not allow you to off yourself or have someone kill you and risk having you get stuck down here too in case this is something that's affecting the entire realm and not just me. No way in hell mister." Madison bristled internally, ready to rebuttal any arguments that Luffy may have if he had any at all.

Luffy: "Alright, you're the boss. We still gotta find a way to get you out though. So I was doing some thinking. We're gonna need funds for your thing I can procure them if you want." He went back and scooping the soil out of the tub and tossing it into the trash. "God this is going to take a while to clean out. I need to get the shop vac out."

Madison: It felt weird, Luffy telling her that she was the boss. She'd never really been in charge of anything before besides herself and then when she had started siring, her childer but she didn't really see herself as in charge of them. More like a mentor than anything else. Madison figured though that she had pretty much put herself in that position though. The weight and responsibility of it all began to sink in then, she really needed to get herself out of the shadow realm. "Yeah, we'll need funding but mostly we'll need people but since you've said you don't really know anyone that would be interested, funding is probably the next most important thing."

Luffy: "I know people Madison, I'm just not going to ask them to put themselves on the front line of a war when it should be my job to be there. I'll see what I can get. It'll involve a hell of a lot of laws getting broken. Probably piss off a few of the local gangs too."

Madison: "Not everyone has to fight Luffy," Madison assured him, "It would help to also have people who have brains in their heads and are good at talking to people because I sure as **** am not that great with the general public. And you won't find any law abiding lectures from me. I hack, I steal and I own more weapons than probably legally allowable. Just stay off the bounty list okay?"

Luffy: "I can see how many people from Misfits I can bring in. Like I said though, when the **** hits the fan I don't want the ones I care about being caught in the fire. I'll be the weapon just tell me which me way I'm to be pointed in."

Madison: "I know I don't have to tell you this but just be careful about who you talk to." Madison was beyond paranoid about word getting back to Tytonidae about what she had started while she was dead. "And if a war happens, if they choose to fight Luffy, you can't stop them. You can't fight a war on your own. I've tried and look where I am now. Stuck in the ******* shadow realm. But anyone who doesn't, then we'll do whatever we can to keep them out of harm's way. I promise."

Luffy: "Stop them, no. But I can become the biggest target to protect the smaller ones. Death doesn't bother me. Failing others does. If I have to protect others, then so be it. I'm not going to be the weak man I used to be. it's time I grew up."

Madison: "Making yourself a target would be failing the group as a whole," Madison explained to him quietly. "If it comes down to war, we're all targets. None of us are any bigger or smaller than the rest, only easier to find. And in that case, we'll have to find ways to protect ourselves and each other."

Luffy: "Well we'd better have a great plan in place." He paused for a minute as he spaced out. "Sorry about that, Kinda spaced it. This is seriously tiring work." He sat against the wall and stared at the tub. "We need to get you back here so you can at least help clean this garden out."

Madison: Madison laughed, "I'll definitely help you out once I get top-side." The talk about gardening made her think about her hydroponics equipment. Hopefully they would be okay and the plants in them wouldn't be too overgrown or dead when she returned. If she returned. Madison sighed, "I hope I find a door soon that works. This really sucks."

Luffy: "Good. I forgot how much work this thing was. I haven't been here in months. It's kind of shame to toss all these fly traps, but I'm cleaning out the past. Oh! what about that weird ritual. the one who brought that spook back Rigormortis was that her name?"

Madison: "Rigormortis?" Madison questioned, racking her memories of knowing anyone by that name but coming up with nothing, "I have no clue what you're talking about Luffy."

Luffy: "Reviya! The wraith chick who's solid now. I heard someone brought her back with a ritual. Maybe we can try that on you. I have now clue how, but I know some people I can ask about it. I reach out to Kira through the Misfits forum. She should know."

Madison: "Revyia?" Madison questioned. She had completely forgotten about the wraiths and their attempts to be made flesh. In fact, she hadn't even known that one had been successfully returned to its body but had seen the new name on the wraith listing on the CrowNet. Now that she was thinking about it, something seemed amiss, "Luffy, have you ever wondered why the Crow provides us with a wraith guide listing when many of the wraiths have spoken out against the Crow?"

Luffy: "Nope, I've stopped asking too many questions. Last time I asked questions I got shot to ****. It's how we first met remember? You asked me what I had done to get murdered." He looked up at the clock and shrugged. He would have to remember to find out who controlled the meth supplies.

Madison: "I remember," Madison sighed softly. Her mind wandered back to the last few months. Some of the members of Fifth Column had tried to help resurrect the wraith guides via ritual and if she remembered correctly, it wasn't just a one and done deal. Multiple rituals would need to be performed and then there was the fact that she wasn't a wraith. "If you think the ritual could really work, it might be worth a try if I can't get out of here soon."

Luffy: "Alright, I'll give Kira a shout about that. How you holding up down there?" He gave up cleaning the tub and dragged his dirty self across the apartment pausing only long enough to toss out the un eaten fruit left behind by Freyja. He peeled his dirty clothing off and turned the water of his shower on.

Madison: "As well as I can be I guess," Madison frowned and shifted her form in the realm, "I just want to come home." She paused as she thought about that statement. "Except I don't really have a home to go back to."

Luffy: "What do you mean you don't have a home to go back to?" He climbed into shower and began washing the dirt off his body. The water ran a dark brown as he cleaned. "Everyone has a home. Even those without a house or apartment have a special place they call home."

Madison: "I used to call the Den home," Madison told him, referring to the communal grounds for the d'Artois, "but hard to consider a place home when you're surrounded by those who helped kill you and others who support them. My Beta apartment was rigged to high heaven right before I died. Not really safe there either. I have a trailer that I converted into a grow op for ritual herbs but unless I'm sleeping on the kitchen table, not really a home. And I rented out my West Tower apartment right before I died."

Luffy: "Oh. Okay. Tell you what. You help me get this dustbowl of an apartment thoroughly cleaned up and get better furniture you can crash here for a little bit. You can even have the master room. Just watch out for the monkey. She likes to sleep on the night stand."

Madison: Madison was slightly taken back for a moment, a long pregnant pause of silence between their minds. She wasn't quite sure what to think about Luffy's offer. While she trusted Luffy for some reason, she still had only spoken to him a handful of times. But it probably couldn't hurt to get to know him better seeing as they would be working closely together for quite some time. "Only until I can get something else situated, I don't want to put you out Luffy....and did you say a monkey? You have a monkey?"

Luffy: "Hey as as you long you need you can crash out. Yes, I have a pet marmoset. My ex gave her to me a couple weeks back." He shut down the water and stepped out to dry off. "Her name is Freyja, the monkey not the ex. She's a sweet little thing. She likes to hang onto long hair."

Madison: His ex. She couldn't help but wonder if this was a recently ended relationship or if they were just still on good terms to be giving each other gifts around the holidays. It made her think about Blake and the cat he had given her which in turn made her agitated but she tried to keep it reigned in. "Animals don't usually like me..." she stated hesitantly.

Luffy: "Okay, that's not a problem. I'll move Freyja into the other room with me. We'll just keep you two separated to avoid issues." He finished drying off and headed to the bedroom and sighed as Freyja had taken over his pillow. He gently picked her up and placed her on the small hammock bed on the side table. "And don't worry, I highly doubt I'll be hanging around my ex. It wasn't pretty. Is there a way to keep certain thoughts from bouncing back and forth when talking?"

Madison: "That's awfully kind of you, Luffy," Madison quietly. She was quiet again for a moment when he heard her thought about exex. "Oh...sorry. I don't know. This is pretty new to me power wise."

Luffy: "Oh okay, well we can practice on that for you. for now I need sleep. I need to find suppliers for guns and drugs tomorrow."

Madison: "Alright, g'night Luffy," she said, realizing how tired she was herself. "Sleep well."

Luffy: "You too Madison I know that place sucks." He crawled into bed and closed his eyes.
"I'm an idol, I'm a king. I'm an object of awe."

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

‹Doc› By Doc's reckoning Madison should have been back from the Shadow Realm by now. How many day he wasn't sure, nor did he actually keep count. It just seemed too long. The Shadow Realm could **** people up. He had seen it before. Some stayed lost to it. And even though he helped put her there, he didn't want her 'gone'. He actually respected her. Not something he could say for a lot of people; respected her, even though he didn't agree with her. In his mind it was a simple case of 'agree to disagree'. He had pondered it for some time before he actually put it into action. He had the ability to to visit the Shadow Realm, so why the **** not? If nothing else it would be an educational experience. But now that he was here in the Shadow Realm, it was going to be harder than he first imagined. This place was twisted for damn sure.

<Madison> Fadewalkers. Madison was both awed and annoyed by those who possessed the ability to come and go from the Shadow Realm at will while alive, able to leave from any spot within when their time was done when dead, their ability to manipulate the realm to their liking and the fact that they could draw spirits to them instead of having to hunt for them. Mircea had been the first to visit her and she had welcomed his presence. Ivy's presence not so much. Then another one had been so gracious as to draw her spirits in order to help her regain her strength. But at the moment, as she searched through the darkness for another doorway to the living realm, she was simply annoyed that they could just poof back from where ever they were.

<Doc> The Shadow Realm was definitely twisted and his thoughts were harder to organize. It wasn’t something he could pinpoint as the reason, he just knew something was amiss. Prolonged exposure could and probably would leave a scar on you. Since he hadn’t had the pleasure to visit this particular ‘piece of hell’ before, he didn’t realize how disturbing he would find it. So instead of lingering about and making detailed mental notes of this plane of existence, he went forward with his plan of locating Madison. His sense of direction was definitely muddied, but he eventually got his bearings. He methodically started his search based on a simple grid pattern. So many paces forward, so many paces to the side, so many paces back the way he had just come. He passed Corwin, another one he helped send here. As he moved further away from them, he looked back continually to see how many paces away he was before he lost sight of them. Using that number he started his grid search for Madison.

<Madison> There was a system to navigating the shadow realm. For Madison, she would find a spot where she could go no further and then she'd walk in as straight a line as she could until she hit another spot that she couldn't pass, turn directions and keep walking straight. It probably wasn't the best system to use and she was sure that she probably went around in circles more often than she realized or crossed over paths that she had already walked but eventually she would always find what she was looking for whether it be a spirit or a door. This time was no exception and after two passes and turns, the telepath found herself at her fourth doorway in a few days. She hesitated before it, not sure if she was ready to fail again at trying to go home. There had still been no word on if others that had been killed were starting to return. Madison was completely unaware if this was a problem they all faced or just her.

<Doc> Normally Doc considered himself a patient person. Especially when he had a plan. He had stalked and waited and surveilled for more hours than most people slept. Since his turning he had discovered he had tendencies toward rage and wanting to act irrationally by plunging ahead with no thought to the consequences. Hell that’s how he got Catherine. But with the help of Zodiac, he had been able to control those feelings, and in fact, project those feelings on to others; thus giving him back control of his emotions along with the peace that came from a calm soul. But here, in this hellish place, it was harder to maintain that patience, that control. What he had envisioned as being a quick romp to the SR and back again, was turning into a multi-hour long ordeal, that was wearing on his nerves. He stopped at the designated point where he would need to sidestep, and focused on calming techniques taught him. It would have been helpful had he been near enough to someone else to project his rage, but hopefully he would find a victim soon enough. After an hour in contemplation, he once more started his search.

<Madison> Time had been lost in however long she had been standing there, staring intently at the "door." It really wasn't a door in the normal sense of the word. There was no molding, no hardware holding a large slab of wood in place with a handle one could turn and step through. It was more like a spot in the veil that one could sense was weaker but it was different than the windows Madison had seen spotted throughout the realm. The windows were solid even though they showed her what lay beyond in the living world. While she couldn't see the living world through the doorway to life, she just knew that this was where she needed to be. Could sense it somehow. But the past four had been locked to her all the same as a regular door with a deadbolt. If she had lungs to breathe with, Madison probably would have taken a breath right before she started to move forward, leading with her hands before her. They touched the spot in the veil with caution and slowly but surely she started to try and force her way through. She could have sworn that she felt it give more than the last one had but still the telepath found herself stuck on the side she no longer wished to be in. Anger filled her and she thrust her entire form forward, hoping that maybe the force of the impact of herself on the veil would pop her through but to no avail. Madison cursed loudly, "**** it all to hell!"

<Doc> Doc shook his head as the female, whose name he still didn’t know.. hobbled.. or should he say..hopped off. He was irritated with the whole idea of this now. This had meant to be a lark, but it was more work than he anticipated. He was ready to call it quits right then and there, until he heard the cursing. He couldn’t pinpoint where the colorful curse had come from, but he could tell it was female, and not the voice of the female that had just assaulted him. He had come this far, what was a bit farther, hmm? Things worth having were struggling for. If it came too easy it wasn’t appreciated. This was a lesson he learned the hard way. He went back to his grid search. Fortunately he was rewarded for his efforts, he spied Madison in the distance. He was ready to be out of here, but it would make his exit all the more pleasing after he had deviled Madison.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

<Toshiru>  Toshiru slumps against what felt like a wall but for all he knew it was the side of a semi truck, he couldnt see a thing in this plain..he hears voices and somewhat half crawls towards them before he sat down where they were the loudest " I cant take this much longer..theres nothing here.. and ontop of that theres malicious inhabitors that attack for no reason..I want to see the streets again!" he cries out grippng his fingers through his long coal black hair "if your trying to get through the door..its useless..ive been trying for days.."

<Madison> Kicking at the door, despite knowing that it would do nothing but wear her out, Madison cursed some more at it. Perhaps part of her expected the damn thing to bend to her will but that part definitely wasn't the logical side of her brain. Reason would tell her that it was best to just keep hunting spirits, moving on and strengthening herself. That maybe she just wasn't strong enough yet and this tantrum she was throwing was just prolonging her stay. Minutes passed of her beating at the weakened portion of the veil that had proven stronger than she. She was down-right exhausted by the time she gave up, settling down on what she could only think to call the ground and was completely unaware of anyone around her.

<Doc> Being disembodied, with a purpose was bad enough. But as time went on, the purpose felt as though it was being bastardized. Doc knew why he was here. He knew what he had intended, yet the effort involved, and the longer he was here, the more disjointed things became. He recognized Madison in the distance, along with possibly someone else? But then again, the SR was so different, it could have been his imagination. He didn’t even know how he knew it was Madison. There wasn’t a face that could be recognized, it was more like an aura.. an ambiguous feeling familiarity. And further from her was, someone.. or something else. He remember hearing of Pratt’s ramblings about a beast or something down here. Now he wasn’t so sure it was just ramblings. He moved closer to Madison, “Imagine running into you here, Madison. You’re looking..” he paused purposely, as he lied in overly cheerful voice, “ ...well.” Another pause to let it sink in. “So, how are you? I’ve missed seeing you about…not that I can see 'you' now..though.."”

<Toshiru> trying to speak a bit louder , it was as if the invisible wind in this plain was stiffling his ears, the deafening sound of nothing, " Would Introductions be a foregone conclusion?!" he shouts out hoping one of the voices he was hearing would respond, he just needed to know he wasnt alone at least not as alone, he slams his fist on the wall behind him it makes an echoe of an echoe and fades quickly as if he was hitting solidified air.

He moves a little closer to the two disembodied voices "Hey...is Anyone there? please just tell me so i know im not going crazy, ..My name's Toshiru..." He shouts out desperately and tries to dig his fingers into the ground hoping to find soil..or something to hold onto , the darkness of this place was maddening and it was making its way into his mind slowly but surely , he had to find someone to talk to ..anyone , even if they were hostile he didnt care, he wanted  a response .

<Madison> A somewhat familiar male voice spoke off to her right, calling her by her name. She looked up at the person from her spot on the ground, narrowing her vision in confusion to try and figure out who this person was. It wasn't until she stood and got closer that she figured it out. Doc. Quickly she checked his memories, looking for signs that the reason he was here was because someone had taken a stand and killed the ********. There wasn't much of worth to be read in his memories though. His cheerful voice grated on her. Confusion quickly turned to paranoia and rage, assuming that Tytonidae had started sending their fadewalkers to the realm in attempts to keep her weakened. Madison lashed out at him, but not with the intention to harm but more so to force him back and give her space and most importantly, to show him that she didn't trust him nor believe a word that he said. Another male voice called out from behind her, one she didn't know at all but fully believed to be someone with Doc trying to confuse her. She side-stepped quickly, turning so that she was facing neither man and prepared to jump at either one.

"What the **** do you want?" she growled.

<Doc> Doc grinned in his mind’s eye, well she still had some fight in her. Good. “Me? Oh not much..” he would have shrugged, but the indolent tone of his voice made it clear he was being facetious. “I was worried about you.. You should have been back.. I was lonely.. the Den is so.. empty without you…” He looked past her to the other one who said his name was Toshiru, “Your friend is feeling neglected.. why don’t you introduce me? Shadow Realm romances are all the rage I hear…”

<Toshiru> Toshiru holds what feels like his head and laughs, it was a desperate/hapy laugh, someone responded, there were other people here, thank god " hey...im glad to "see" you " he laughs again panting as if out of breath, he was glad that he wasnt alone "my name is Toshiru..im friendly I promise..." just ..pl;ease dont go

<Madison> The paranoid telepath looked back and forth from Doc to Toshiru. Either this person was a better actor than she believed any member of Tytonidae to be or he really wasn't a member. Madison didn't believe that any member of Tytonidae would be caught dead acting that way. Her gaze turned back to Doc and though he probably couldn't see it across her near featurless face, she was mentally glowering at him. While she was looking at Doc, she used her powers to check Toshiru's memories. Another victim of Tytonidae. "He's not my friend, nor my lover," Madison spat at Doc, "Don't you recognize his name or do you not keep up to date with all the people your lot murders?"

<Doc> “You’ve seen one offender,... you’ve seen them all. They begin to run together.. unless they whine or cry like a girl. Then I tend to remember them.” Doc grinned at her, “You didn’t cry.. whined, maybe a bit.. speaks well of you.” He looked past Madison to Toshiru, “Don’t take her anger to heart.. deep down she’s a softie.” He paused and turned his attention back to Madison, his voice dropping in facade of playfulness; now, it was time for business, “So why aren’t you back Madison? You’re time is up. Tell me you aren’t playing the ******* martre?”

<Toshiru>  Shaking his head in relief he stands up resting on the wall next to him " im sure she does, im just glad i found someone..i was starting to hear..Other voices for a while there.." he looks at what feels like his hand and holds it out , he knew no one would be able to make it out but it was what he was used to , he holds it out towards the female voice "my names Toshiru, can I ask yours?"

<Madison> When the word 'martyr' passed out of Doc's lips, Madison almost had half a mind to lunge at him again. The other male spoke again but she barely even made a motion of recognition that he had done so. Had Doc not been present, perhaps she would have engaged with this unknown vampire but she was pissed, she was paranoid and she was near insulted at what Doc had just implied. Completely ignoring Toshiru's offer of a ghostly handshake, Madison didn't bother giving him her name either. If he had been paying attention, Doc had just said it at least two or three times since showing up.

"If I could ******* get out of this hellhole I would. But I can't. You can take those martyr comments and shove them up your *** Doc. I'm sure you know a good proctologist."

<Doc> Doc smirked, “There’s that Madison I grew to know and love.. so caring and sweet. Always thinking of others, before herself.” The tone was a tiny bit sarcastic, but his job was done. Madison had not subcombed to the Shadow Realm. She wasn’t doomed to linger there forever; and he was relieved. It was hard to say why he cared. He really didn’t have any sort of affection for her. But.. perhaps, just perhaps, he found her mentally stimulating. She was his polar opposite. Where he said ‘**** you.. die *****’, she said, ‘killing isn’t the answer’ and at the same time, she could be as ruthless and sadistic as himself. It would be a pity to lose that mind and determination to this hellish landscape. “So, you’re saying… you miss me too. I knew it.” he nodded, it didn’t matter if she could see it or not, “I’ll be waiting for you, topside..”

<Toshiru> lowers his hand and laughs a bit, he knew her name from overhearing it but He was a West and he knew how rude it was to use names second hand " Im starting to forget what the streets look like..I have a human staying at my house back up there..and i just hope she's ok" he looks towards Doc's voice " its wonderful to meet you , both of you , im just sorry it had to be in a place like this.." he wasnt used to this place...everything seemed both there..and not there at teh same time..

<Madison> A growl rose from deep within her. A primal guttural sound, a warning that Doc was starting to toe the lines of her nerves. If she wasn't so irritated, she may have laughed off the idea of missing him. Madison didn't miss him. The only thing she missed right at that moment was having a physical body and her rifle at her side so she could attempt to blow his ******* brains across the floor. There was no doubt in her mind that he would be waiting for her return. Him and his Crow-***-kissing, gang-banging friends. The only thing that kept her from lashing out at him and meaning it was the fact that she couldn't afford to get sent back down to the shadow realm immediately in the case they weren't intending to send her back there anyways. There was too much in motion. Too much that she needed to be there for. So all she did was glare at him.

<Doc> Her growl made this all worthwhile. That irritation, the frustration, the whole out of body experience that wasn’t pleasant at all. “Toshiru.. keep her company.. she gets so moody and cross when she’s lonely.” Then directed at Madison herself. “Be sure to bring your A game..” and with that Doc escaped the hellish place for the warm comforting den.

<Toshiru>  Blinks as the mans voice disappears "umm..I wont ask what that was about..but are you two friends?" he asks, looking in the general direction of Madison

<Madison> "Did it look like we were ******* friends?" The words were out of her mouth before she could think about what she was saying. While whoever this male was, was slightly irritating with his questions and his interjecting between the obvious unfriendly discussion between Doc and herself, he really wasn't the one she was mad at. No, she was pissed off at Doc and the gall that he had to come down here and needle at her. Now that he had disappeared and she was going over the short conversation, she wondered just how much she had given away in her anger. Maybe she should have let him believe that she was playing the martyr. Either way, she felt that he had basically told her what she thought she already knew. Tytonidae planned to kill her again.

<Toshiru> Clears his throat, or at least made the motion of it, he didnt feel like he was breathing, "well...From what i heard..your in a bit of trouble when you get out of this hell hole..would a helping hand be knocked away? it would just be until you heal up completely ,, but Id like to help if I can" he says looking towards the disembodied spiritual voice.

Re: Romps in the Realm (Semi-Open/Invite]

Post by Toshiru »

<Madison> Madison turned to Toshiru then and looked at him as closely as she could with the state of being that they were both in. She probably didn't even need to use her powers of appraisal to be able to tell that Toshiru was probably young in the terms of vampires. And if he wasn't young, he was lazy and weak. While she did need all the help that she could get, his overly friendly nature could be his downfall. "People who help me die," she told him matter of factly, "My childe and friend proceeded me here because they helped me last time."

<Toshiru> Toshiru smiles inwardly , not even sure if a smile would be seen "well, I see a cause..I apologize if the wording is bad but its true.. i know a good place for you to hide, and opperate in, it has a computer and im putting in a crafting table , and you can use the sewer systems to get around if you absolutely have to, its safe I promise"

<Madison> All she could do was shake her head a bit. It was a very nice gesture of Toshiru to offer but what the seemingly fledgling vampire didn't understand was that no place was truly safe from Tytonidae. At the very least it couldn't hurt to have another place to go. She knew her Beta Towers apartment was known about and not safe. "I appreciate the thought Toshiru and perhaps I may one day take you up on it. But not knowing you very well, I'm not inclined to put your life at risk when you may not understand the severity of what you're doing. You probably shouldn't have told that man you harbored a human either. Unless it's a thrall, many vampires do not approve of the co-mingling of vampires and humans."

<Toshiru> Shakes his head " I had my thrall long since send her away to a friends house until i find another one, she'll be fine He says tilting his head " and as for putting my life at risk, my life is fine as long as I dont speak to you on the street where they can see..im sure they can read memories but they would be hard pressed to read your cell phone messages, it will be fine, as i see it,...you dont have any other options and my door is open, there is another bed so no one will be sleeping on the couch , and i can move it to another room if it would help, but im happy to be of assistance, knowing you or not..i know a good person when i see one..and a good person in distress sends up ever red flag I possess..tell me now...yes or no...and from there we will make a plan to help you do what you need to do "

<Madison> Toshiru was extremely presumptuous. He assumed much by telling her she had no other options. She had plenty of options. Just none of them were all that great and if she were honest with him, neither was his. "If you want an answer right this minute, my answer is no," Madison told him. She was still irritated by Doc's visit and Toshiru telling her what her choices were or were not was not helping. "I don't know you. You don't know me. There are so few 'good' people as you call them, that you can't just trust someone who claims to be good just because they say they are. For all you know, I am no better than they are. You do not know my history, you do not know what I have done, what I plan to do, who I am, what my options are. You presume to tell me what you think it is that you know about me when you don't know anything at all. If you care to, then take the time to do so and earn the trust that is not given easily."

<Toshiru> Nods " You're right I dont know you and you misunderstand me, me saying you have no options was not me being presumptuous, it was more of a joking examination of a situation , and I admittingly say i dont know your past but i know what I just saw.. and if you are to be killed again and sent here..or hunted..then I cant think of a better way to spend my time , and as for whether or not your a good person or not..if you please, would you allow me to find that out when we get you safe and away from that band of miscreants? " he asks with a boyish smile , she was right, he didnt know her but She seemed like someone he would like to get to know in time

<Madison> "Well as it is, there's not too much they can do to us here," Madison sighed, completely oblivious to the smile on Toshiru's ghostly face. "But I'm not going to stay down here forever, in fact I should already be back in the world of the living. For some reason I can't seem to push through. It's been ten days already. Most people are only stuck here for seven."

<Toshiru> Sighs "Thats true and we can figure out why your still down here as well, do you know of any ritual or power that can keep someone banished here?. " he looks around at the shadowy desolate place before him then back at the disembodied voice " Tell me once you've made up your mind., my door is open and as for getting to know you , I'll leave that up to time, and your past, well I Figure if you want me to know then eventualy I will, but either way, it doesnt change the fact that I want to help you , I do know people who feel the same as me, consider it an unofficial guild of sorts " he laughs inwardly

<Madison> Again Madison sighed. She was starting to get rather tired. Between the energy she'd spent trying to get through the doorway to the living realm, dealing with Doc and now Toshiru, all Madison wanted to do was go find some spirits and then find a place to sleep. Toshiru was already back to pressuring her about making a decision about what she wanted to do. He didn't seem to understand that the concept of getting to know one another came first and then a decision would get made about whether or not she trusted him or would actually feel even remotely safe in a place that he could offer her. "What do you mean people who feel the same as you? In what regards? The opening of your home to a stranger or in regards to the masquerade and the bounty list?"

<Toshiru> Toshiru stands up shakily, he needed sleep as well but he had to clarify his intentions, " you dont have to make a decision right now, im sure we will have a little while in here while we figure out how to get you out of here , and as for the people Im talking about , both the opening of the home , and somewhat of the other lol though i personaly dont know about a masquerade, but we do know there are people who use the bounty list to aid their own personal agendas , which is not only against the rules,..but against our shared principals, what im saying is, I presume nothing, ill take what time I have to to get to know you, and once you've figured out if you can trust me or not, then we can proceed , please know I have nothing but good intentions"

<Madison> "Okay," was all that Toshiru got in reply. She was tired of making him try to see her point and it unnerved her how he seemed to know exactly what she was thinking all the time without him being a telepath. It was rather annoying. "I think I'm going to go find some spirits and sleep. When you get back to being alive, send me an email. It's easier to get in touch with me through email versus over the phone."

<Toshiru> He nods "happily , ill do whatever I can to help you get out of here, " he only wanted to help, as did his friends, he makes the motion of shaking her hand knowing she wouldnt take it anyway , so he shakes the air, and stumbles into the distance " ill be there " he says holding up a hand as he walks away
