Keara: "Enver?" she began when he returned. "Mean to offend you I did not, through clarification to ask. And well...questions regarding the song, have I still."This RP is set on Monday 18th November 2013 in the Northern Catacombs.
Enver: "Offended?" He pulled out a cigar from his new stash he had put in his case and looked over at her. "I'm not offended." He cleared his throat, cut the tip of the cigar off, pocketed it and then lit the thing. "More questions?" He wanted to groan. Didn't he answer the question of all questions just a little while ago? What more was there to know?
Keara: She nodded. "Understand I do not if you me only like for how look I do. And well looked this way I have for centuries now, if discount time in accursed realm I do. And never have you upon my looks commented before. Not in any real fashion. Vague you always are in such things. Know I do that common place my looks are. Undesirable was I when I human was too. Heard that said I did. Yet song implies otherwise. Maybe. To you at least." She was rambling a little and staring at her feet as she spoke by the time she finished.
Enver: A hand went to his face as she tore apart the song, breaking it down in a logical sort of mind set. He groaned when she was done, then sighed. "Forget it. The song was stupid." She had missed the song and its content completely, so he didn't see much point in explaining it now. Not when he'd have to break it down so much that the song would be forever ruined in his mind. "I'll pick a better one next time." He grumbled, taking a long inhale in of the cigar.
Keara: She went quiet and curled herself up in the foetal position in the corner of the chamber they were in. She didn't say a word, nor look at him as she began to consider the fact that he didn't find her attractive and just didn't know how to say it directly without hurting her feelings. It didn't occur to her that there could be any other reason behind his reply and she wasn't sure if asking him anything further would yield any answers, so instead she chose to remain silent.
Enver: "Great." He muttered when he saw her curl up in a ball and go silent on him. The male started pacing, a waft of sweet air circling him as he went back and forth, while puffing on that cigar of his. "Look, the songs not just about how you look in this second or just tonight. It's about how the woman the guy is in to helps him persevere through some ****. More or less. Makes him a better man and that's why he lo-likes her as much as he does." He looked over at her. "It's not just really about how she looks that night, but how she looks while she does what she does that drives him up the wall for her. It's more than the fact she's pretty or beautiful." He stopped, mostly because he felt like he was getting riled up, for what, he didn't know
Keara: She listened to him speak but said nothing at first as she tried to process what it was he was saying. One word in particular seems to trip him up but she isn’t sure what it was or why. She more has trouble with the phrase ‘driving someone up the wall’ as she’s sure she’s had that defined for her before, most likely by Enver and so she racks her brain for the definition. Finally she realises it means crazy. Knowing that didn’t help much though at that point as then she had to work out if she drove him crazy or if he what she did made him crazy for her. In the end she decided she was too confused by his words and that she might as well just give up. Finally, she looked up at him and asked “Good that explanation is but answered my question it did not. Do you the way I look like?”
Enver: He stared at her long and hard. That's what this is all about? She wanted to know if he thought she was pretty? Beautiful even? He chuckled, sighed and shook his head as he exhaled some smoke from his lungs. "Yeah, I like the way you look." He shrugged, having never given it any thought until now. Wasn't it sort of obvious? If he didn't, then why would they be where they are now? Sure, there were other things that people looked for in others, but there had to be some physical attraction in his mind.
Keara: His reply seemed a little lacking in detail to her. Like was a words she understood, but then she liked the way BI looked and that didn’t mean she was attracted to her. “Like understand I do. Like I do the way that dress you do…sometimes. But like not the word is for when I to your feature look. Something stronger then is required. Like I do many thing but feel for them I do not what feel for you I do.” She wasn’t very good at this and attractive wasn’t a word that resided in her general vocabulary. She knew she knew a word to describe him but up until then it had escaped her. “Handsome,” she blurted out as an afterthought. “Handsome I find you.”
Enver: This was one of those games women played, wasn't it? They had to know something for whatever reason and wouldn't let up until they got the answer they were looking for. He was about to sigh when she said he was handsome, the male grinning from ear to ear. "Yeah?" He cleared his throat then, mostly because if she had said it, she meant it. At least in his mind. "I think for all the years you've not gotten any compliments from any males is hard to believe. " He started off, a hand going through his hair. "To me, you're the most captivating woman in the city." He slowly started out, as he thought best how to sum up what he thought about her appearance. "I think you're stunning and most the world are idiots not to see that.." He muttered quietly.
Keara: She wasn’t too sure what stunning meant but it sounded good. She smiled up at him, a brighter smile than she usually gave and not at all the quirky sort he usually got. Her cheeks flushed a little too, as no-one had this side of time had said anything so nice to her. Even if she tried to recall what little Ven had said in that past, she was sure it wouldn’t have measured up, as they rarely spoke of their attraction to one another since it was kind of forbidden. “Lie to you I would not,” she said in her usual manner. “No-one to me talks, the way that you do.” She probably should have left the conversation there and not push her luck but that really wasn’t her way. She still had an unanswered question and since she was sure that he’d have the answer, she wasn’t going to just let it drop. “Enver…” her voice was tentative, her mood changing once more. “The song said that the male the woman loved and said that word you never have. Misinterpreted that have I?
Enver: The male tugged at his collar, cleared his throat and snuffed out his cigar on the catacomb's walls next to him." No, he said that. You didn't misinterpret the song." His eyes swung back to her once he was sure the cigar was extinguished, then shrugged. "It's a song about why he loves her and what he loves about her. Like I said before."
Keara: "But..." she was confused. He'd said that he meant the song for her. So she'd assumed it expressed his feelings and not just the feelings of the guy in the song. Wasn’t that their way? To find songs that expressed how they felt for one another. And no he was being decidedly evasive. "Thought I did that song for me you had chosen. For your feelings to express…” her words were barely audible as she hugged her legs once more. “Misunderstood then I guess I did.” It wasn’t like she was really hurt as she wasn’t really sure what love was and if she felt that herself, she had no idea what half the emotions were that she’d been experiencing recently and maybe he was the same way. After all the last song she sang him wasn’t entirely true as her heart didn’t beat, not in a physical sense.
Enver: The male groaned. Why did she ask so many questions? Couldn't she just appreciate the god damn song? He pocketed the cigar as he watched her body become defensive? "Yeah. Okay?" He growled out, finding his way to his knees in front of her. "I never said it before, alright?" He wanted to yank her off the floor, but at the same time he wanted to pull her in to his arms. "That's how I feel, alright?"
Keara: She wasn’t sure what that meant, surely he’d said it to someone before, after all he’d been married and bound. She’d said it to Ven but now she wasn’t so sure she’d used it right. It was hard to tell when she didn’t have the ability to understand what it was she was feeling herself. “Said it still you have not,” she replied in a very straight tone that he could take either to mean she was or wasn’t expecting him to say it now. Regardless of her meaning, she continued to talk and didn’t allow him the time to reply. “Enver…” she was picking at her nails now, something he may have already noticed she did when she was nervous or embarrassed. “Like to know I would what feels like love does. Can you it to me explain?”
Enver: He chuckled nervously. "This is sort of starting to feel like an interrogation." He cleared his throat, then shook his head. "I think it means something different to different people. How I feel about you, might not be how you feel about me. Which is understandable." He looked around the mausoleum, noting any familiar faces. "It's more of an action sort of thing, then being told."
Keara: “Perhaps but…” she was staring at her hands as she moved from nail to nail. “How do I know if love you I do…I mean…if so many feelings I have, that new are…how can I a label upon them place?”
Enver: He reached out and grabbed a hand, mostly to keep her from ripping flesh off them before it got too late. "Huh." Was all he said at first, not believing what he had heard. So he replayed it in his mind, still got the same thing he had heard and grinned a little more. "Well, let's see. You'd do anything for them pretty much. Which you've done. Twice since I was in that place." He started out. "You want to be around them, maybe even see them when you wake up and when you go to bed. You're excited to see them. And the thought of not being around them for whatever reason, ruins your whole ******* night." He said after clearing his throat.
Keara: She let him hold her hand, it helped her to shift her focus back onto him, even though she still felt stupid for having to ask him something like this. “That all true is,” she said when he stopped trying to explain random actions that showed you loved someone. “But explains it does not what in here,” she gestured first to her chest and then to her stomach, “and there I do feel. Thought I did yesterday that sick I might be but that not possible is. Ached my stomach did. That last time that you my lips kissed. And understand I still do not why you that did. Well…maybe understand I do a little but that not our agreement was.”
Enver: "I did it because I missed you." He reminded her coolly. "Because when I saw you, it's what I felt like I should do. Even now, or any time we meet, I want to do that." He cleared his throat and looked away. "And you feel those things because it's what people feel. A mix of emotions for whatever reason. Fear they might not love you back. Excitement to see them, to be around them. Happiness for the same reason and sometimes more. And the other range of things. Anger for whatever reason, be it valid or stupid, sadness, like when I was dead." He looked back around, then at her, not real sure what else to say. He couldn't tell her how she felt and he didn't think it his place to tell her how she felt either. Even if he felt something stronger than she did at moments.
Keara: “Both helpful and confusing that answer to me is,” she said looking into his eyes. “Mean you do that feeling that had I did anything could be. Hope I do that figure it out I shall….eventually” She looked away to the hand that was holding hers and contemplated what she should do next. A part of her wanted to recreate the night before so that she could analyse it step by step. She wanted to crawl to her knees, caress his face in the same tender manner he’d caressed hers and then press her lips to his…But she didn’t. Doing so could open a door in their relationship that she then might not be able to close, and so she sat there and sighed, as her thumb played over his fingers.
