‹Keara Aithne› Keara returns home to talk to Enver, his email had not explained the reason as to why they urgently needed to speak but it didn't really matter. He had asked her to meet him and so she went. Upon seeing him she held out her hand for him as was now their custom. This RP took place in Aithne Asylum on Sunday 3rd November 2013.
‹Enver_Marshall_› He comes in with his gun in his hand, some blood on his shirt and a strange look on his face. When he sees her, he clears his throat, then puts the gun down on the first surface he finds. "Look, I don't have." He stopped and looked at her hand, sighed, grabbed it with the one that was the least bloody and kissed it quick, before he got right to business. "I don't have a lot of time. You need to find Sara and help her. Keep her safe. She's in real bad shape." He took a step back in an attempt to compose himself, his eyes on her face.
‹Keara Aithne› As he took her hand it registered that he was covered in blood and it wasn't his, not the way it was splattered across him. What's worse was that he smelt like one of hers, so when he said she needed to find Sara she quickly realised that the blood he was wearing, for want of a better word, was that of her daughter's. "What did you do?" The words came out her mouth in an unfamiliar tone, as she half growled them. She trusted this man, invited him into her home and now here he was covered in Sara's blood telling her she was in bad shape and needed help.
‹Enver_Marshall_› Yeah. He expected this sort of reaction. In fact, he expected something a lot worse than this. Enver cleared his throat and ran a blood stained hand through his hair. "Nothing. The only thing I could do!" His gaze narrowed as he focsued on her face. "I saved her."
‹Keara Aithne› "Saved her? If saved her you did here she now would be. With you. Instead in here you come alone. And in her blood you are covered. Know that I do. Smell her I can. Ask again I shall. What did you do!" She was angry, her words unfamiliar in tone even to herself. She couldn't believe he would attack one of hers and yet the blood upon him suggested otherwise.
‹Enver_Marshall_› "I shot her in her leg, alright? I shot her because I was trying to help her." It didn't make any sense, what he was saying and he knew it. "Look, just calm down." He ran a hand through his hair. "I wouldn't do it if I had another choice, Keara."
‹Keara Aithne› "Shot her! My childe? My Sara? Enver!" she growled and advanced towards him, gabbing him by the t-shirt, her hands gripping either side of the word 'Clippers.' Using all her strength, she then shoved him backwards so that his back was up against the door of the asylum. "Choice have we always. Why? What I now know. Now why I like to know would. Know I do not how shooting her does save."
‹Enver_Marshall_› And there it was. The reaction he was waiting for. "Yeah, I shot your Sara. If I hadn't done it, someone else would have. Someone else would have killed her." He growled at her, as a hand grabbed at one of hers to start to pry her from his shirt. "So yeah, I shot her alright. But she's not dead, which is why I'm here. You've got to take care of her. Like you did for me that one time."
‹Keara Aithne When he grabbed her hand she recoiled, pulled back and turned around so that her back was to him. She was angrier than she ever remembered being with anyone this side of the divide and so in one swift, fluid movement, she turned back around to face him and smacked him hard across the face with an open hand. "Take care of her of course I shall. Unlike you perhaps I her can restrain. But explained to me you have not why?!" She wasn't going to let him get away without giving her an explanation she could understand. Fine so he shot her to help her but without knowing how that helped she couldn't accept it even though she knew he wasn't lying to her.
‹Enver_Marshall_› He had thought she had calmed down when she released him, even if it probably wasn't by choice. He took a few breaths in to collect himself, but that was short lived when he felt and heard the sting of her slap. "What in the hell?" He stepped forward as she started talking. "Why? You want to know why? Because she's yours. That's why. If it was someone else I wouldn't have done it, unless it was someone in Fifth or my own. That's why. She had a bounty. You know what happens to people who have bounties, Keara." He felt his temper flaring, not understanding how she thought he would want to shoot her kiddo. "I wasn't going to let her die, alright? She doesn't have to die to fix her bounty problems. Go online and see for yourself." He scowled at her, a hand going to his cheek.
‹Keara Aithne› She stormed away from him again,. flexing her fingers. She didn't understand what he was telling her. 'Go online. Yes because the internet holds all the answers,' she thought to herself, rolling her eyes as she did so. She assumed he meant she had to go and read the public crownet boards but she could spend weeks in there catching up and all she'd learn was that the city was full of vampires she'd likely never want to meet. Turning to face him once more, she gritting her teeth and clenching her fists, her nails digging into her palms to try and help her regain control and calm down. "Online I do not wish to go. You the answer have Enver. If knew you did that die she did not have to. Explain it please!" The tone in her voice had turned to one of desperation and she wanted desperately to understand his actions. More than that though she needed to understand them quickly, as she had to now go out and find Sara.
‹Enver_Marshall_› "Like I was trying to say," He started out, following after her, still rubbing at his cheek. "I'm not going to talk to your god damn back." He sneered before he was in front of her in a quick blur, making her look at him. "She had a bounty. I had a bounty. I got a friend to tell me we could trick the crow, or the system if she brought me near death. It worked, she told me my bounty disappeared. I did the same thing to another friend last week or so. Her bounty vanished when I almost killed her. Sara is still alive. Barely, but her bounty is gone. Look for your god damn self." He pulled out his phone, pulled open the bounty application and pushed it close to her face. "I saved her from being killed, along with some of my friends."
‹Keara Aithne› She slapped the phone away from her face. "Suppose urgency a factor was?" Her nails broke through the surface of her skin and growled with pain. "Tell me you could not before find and beat my child you did. Think perhaps you did that I unimportant was. That as her sire no say had I in her future?" The despair was still evident in her voice as she now began to wonder if she had failed Sara, if she should have been there with her, bringing her pray to kill so that she could get her bounty down before this was necessary. Sara was still yet to explain how she acquired the bounty and Keara had been happy to put that conversation off until after her childe was out of danger. Now that time had come and she likely wouldn't get any answers for a week or so.
