He felt the blood slow down on the side of his head and despite his confusion he laughed deeply. These bitches couldn't touch him. He'd get rid of them all and show the world who he was. Make everybody kiss his *** and beg him for whatever he wanted.
While he was lost in these delusions of the world he could create, he heard air whistling towards him and felt himself almost float. Maybe he was ascending to whatever was better then this **** with fangs and claws and stuff. This was thought through a haze as he tried to get up and proclaim how great he was.
He felt the weight in his hands drop down, not realizing that it was the human he had been using as a body shield. The floaty feeling was still strong as he managed to hold out his arms, whatever he was going to was better then this. Claws outreached to embrace it as he finally floated completely on the ground.
This didn't make as much sense to him, but he could clearly see a hazy air above him filled with dancing spots of red, so clearly he was going to become a true god.
They had carefully shot out his legs, though her shorts weren't quite as accurate as Zodiac's, she still managed to help tear up his artierial veins in his legs, judging by the spray surrounding him. She could hear various whispers coming from him, but didn't pay attention.
She nodded approvingly as Zodiac took out the human he had been using as a shield. Those turned by this creature would surely have been monstrous. No need to create more of the problem. She cast one more confusion on him, which seemed to be working nicely on him. All this destruction because of one new vampire who hadn't been properly instructed. A note was made in her conscience that somehow Enver would pay not just her back for this but the city.
Seeing him finally drop, a cold smiled crossed her face, as both women walked over to him and shot up his chest a few more times. Nodding at Zodiac's words, she took a moment to cringe at her blood covered tramp dress and simply shook her head.
"I am afraid that is too terrifying a tale to repeat." This was said as she walked up next to his head and bent down. Whispering a few words to him, she used up the last round she had, shooting out his heart and brain. Making sure nothing was left to come back to. Perhaps he would be forever stuck in the shadow realm, but regardless he could not come back to this body. She would keep an eye on this one to make sure he could cause no more destruction or return long enough to do so.
Standing up, She kept looking down at his body and shaking her head thoughtfully. Few saw her kill others, but those that had knew that she did not take it lightly. This life while it had similarities to her old life, this part of it was entirely different.
Sometimes the hardest road, was the one where others suffered while you tried to right the wrong unknowingly committed on them.
Without realizing it she voiced some of her feelings. Her usual strong and cold defenses of her allurism breaking.
"Such waste. And so easily could all of this determination to destoy, be turned into good use for a bloodline or business. But these rogues, above the ones like that disgusting Pratt have no chance. They are simply brainless idiots in a war they did not choose. It amazes this city wales at those of us who try to teach a lesson that this wanton destruction shouldn't occur, and yet, if they face the facts that if we are revealed we will be punished far worse for those few who can not find a way to understand that immortality is a GIFT. Instead bicker like children who will not face that one day we could end by humans hands if we keep testing fate."
She didn't realize the hints of desolation in her voice as she leaned down once more and whispered an Italian prayer of mercy to virgin mary. She closed her eyes and stood up, taking a moment to shove back the tidal wave of disgust, despair for this city and the rest of the emotions that on a daily basis she controlled.
Turning around, she gestured towards the door. "Shall we get a drink Zodiac? I think tonight calls for it, and perhaps I will let you pry the story of why I am in this dress."
She watched as the so called god simply fell. No visions of the soul going up or down, no angels or demons arriving to take him to eternal reward. He had simply deflated and dropped. A final round of shots and his body just lay there on the seats. She waited for the turning to dust bit, but then remembered killers didn't do that thing.
She looked at the allurist as she began to speak. Something inside told the gypsy this was something rare for her to do. Rather than comment, she stood as a silent witness as Sophia let some inner feelings escape. Zodiac crouched down by the body of the mortal she had killed and whispered a silent prayer for the person, then stood up and placed a hand on the woman's shoulder in sympathy.
"Drinks sound good,"she admitted as the pair walked out of the theater. There was time enough for talking later once their emotions had calmed down a bit. As they passed through the remains of the lobby, Sophia went to grab her bag as Zodiac approached the form of Enver-still laying in the ruined showcase. She kicked the sole of his shoe a bit.
"Hey! Your problem is solved, now get up and get a broom. We are not maids."she smirked in his mind."You got a mess to clean up."
Without a second thought, she walked to the door and held it for Sophia, then followed her out into the darkness.
