Cat and Axel's Night Out

Post by Catherine Nilson »

Axel Rosen: Again the same chair, the same room, the same place as always and this is where he wakes up. Not next to his love but rather in a chair in a tattoo parlor. It used to not bother him, not even at first, just thought it was the way things worked for him. Now though, now that he has a woman at home in his bed, currently alone, this does not please him in the slightest. He looks down at his clothes, putting on clean clothes before sleep is sort of a ritual. He leans forward and pulls his phone from his pocket. There is a text from Nix, asking him a favor involving Doc. He simply replies then goes about texting Doc's childe, "Hey babe, we still on for tonight?"

Catherine Nilson: A new fresh room, a musky pleasant bed... Axel's room! Cat blushed and cleared her throat to think about what happened. Well, at least he isn't here now so he can't see her flustered and blame himself. She doesn't want to make him uncomfortable. Cat grabs the fresh change of clothes out of her bag. Since they made arrangements to go feeding, Cat decides to wear black tights and a hoodie along with some boots and a leather belt loose around her hips, in case she needs to holster her gun there or a knife. She makes her way to the tattoo parlor, careful to lock up Axel's place with the key he gave her first. She lets herself in through the dark front door. "Axel?"

Axel Rosen: The text is answered by an action not by the text as the bell on the door rings and he looks to see who it is. Catherine walking in, looking magnificent not matter what she's wearing in Axel's eyes. As she moves through the door he makes his way toward her and grins a little bit. "Catherine?" He gives her the same tone she had given him as she came in. A hand hits hers and clasps there, remember the night before, of course he does. Bring it up in public, no. His fingers lace hers. "Hungry?"

Catherine Nilson: She takes off her black knit breaking and entering cap, as if surprising him when he says her name so questioningly. Smiling a little as her fluffy blond hair spills free. Crap, she will have to tuck it back up there now. "Maybe I should get a haircut first," she mumbles as she squeezes his hand and walks outside with him. She bounces a little on her heels as she waits for him to lock up, never letting go.

Axel Rosen: Turning around he locks the place up, assuming that Jesse would be down in a few moments and then moves toward her. His arm wraps around her waist and he tilts his head into her cheek. "A hair cut?" He's not even sure vampires need hair cuts. Axel hasn't noticed any thing change about him since being turned, doesn't mean it doesn't happen just means that he hasn't seen it. He squeezes her hand in his and then moves to her side.

Catherine Nilson: "My hair is so light that it throws off my thug disguise. People notice it in the dark and stuff," Cat explains, leaning into his smooch, then delivers one of her own. She has to stand on the tips of her toes to do it. Thus having claimed her mate, she walks with him slowly. She doesn't really care who they eat and is keeping an eye out for the latest opportunity.

Axel Rosen: "So what do you want to do about it.' He smiles a little bit, not sure of her plans for the evening but it doesn't matter to him. He'll go with her to get her hair cut. He will have to feed eventually though, his eyes are black, too pools of oil. His fingers run down her arm to her hand again that he just recently released to touch her hair.

Catherine Nilson: "I'm hungry," is her response to his question. She knows she will have better luck feeding in a crowded venue than a barren road, but Cat loathes crowds. Maybe with Axel by her side it won't be so bad. "What if we lure somebody out of a club? Feed, then send them back in, they'll think they were high or something."

Axel Rosen: The concept of what she's saying is viable but he doesn't see himself as being charisma... he doesn't need to be charismatic. The man grins a little bit. That power, the one that hypnotizes people he's going to feed on he could use it on a person at the club. "Sounds good, we'd have to find one alone, in the club, a wallflower." he smiles at her and then leans against her before pulling back again. "Which club?"

Catherine Nilson: "That one with the dancers," she says and heads for the rowdy district, fingers still entwined with his. The young woman's grip tightens considerably after they get inside. Axel can probably tell that Cat is nervous. She manages a lopsided smile when the bouncer lets them pass. Sitting at a table, curled against her mate's side, she glances around the room for a loner.

Axel Rosen: Dancers, he wonders if she means a strip club but he waits until she takes him in. Again he's surprised at how dense these bouncers are. Here is Axel, carrying about twenty pounds of blades and no one stops him. Granted all the blades are smaller than a foot, but still. Not even a metal detester wand thing, he shakes his head before sitting with Catherine. She curls against him and his arm goes against her hip, kissing her head at the temple. He's okay to just relax

Catherine Nilson: Maybe this was a bad idea, she thinks to herself, but takes comfort in Axel's smooch. She quickly maps out the area and murmurs calmly "There's a back exit down that west hall, looks like stoners go out there. Hookups are in the bathrooms. Gross." She sees a guy standing alone. "What about him."

Axel Rosen: She says gross and he keeps his thoughts to himself but he had heard everything she said. His fingers drum along her shoulder before she points a guy out. His eyes look him over, scanning him a bit. "He's not going to be very receptive to me...", again he's forgetting about his power but it will come back to him in time.

Catherine Nilson: "If you want, I can flirt with him and lure him out back for drugs. Then you jump him. I did something like that with Doc back when we were looking for Riley," she explains, staring into Axel's eyes. She has to lean close to talk with him, so that it looks like they're just talking about how much they enjoy one another's company.

Axel Rosen: She says that she could flirt with him and he thinks for a moment of how that would make him feel. His toe taps the ground several times, thinking breathing in and out before he looks to her. "No... Please." That last word bring back the sweet tone in his voice from the guttural 'no'. He hadn't realized how absolutely protective of her he actually is. He stands up, brushing himself off and then moves to the man. He strikes up a conversation, the man asks something about Axel's eyes and that's when it happens. Axel uses the power, The man goes all placid faced as he stares blankly

Catherine Nilson: At first Cat is confused by Axel's sudden alarm. When he gets up to talk to the human, Cat thinks about what just happened, and it's only then she realizes the affect she has on Axel. She feels it with him too, like when she attacked Doc over having Axel's arm. Axel is hers, and she is Axel's, so no flirting even to attract food. Cat nods to herself and slips out back with Axel and the enthralled guy. She waits until she is sure that nobody is looking and bites into his wrist. He struggles at first.

Axel Rosen: Her fangs go into his wrist and he's glad that he lured their prey rather than him, because he wasn't in the mood to kill. As the thought goes through his mind. For a slight moment Axel grins at his love, feeding so hunger from the man that is dazed still but struggling. Running his fingers through Catherine's hair, his fangs come down, and he bends the neck of the human. He feeds with her, sharing a meal.

Catherine Nilson: When she feels his fingers combing through her silky blond hair, she briefly snaps out of her feeding trance to reach out with one hand and cling to his shirt. Holding Axel, she takes her fill from the human with him, then releases the human and lets him wander off in a daze. It wasn't as fun as the last few times they'd fed together, but it was a meal, and being close to Axel makes it worth it.

Axel Rosen: She clings to his shirt until the two of them are finished eating and he leans back. The man wanders off, staggering as he moves but Axel stops watching after a while. His eyes move to Catherine, hand still in her hair. With that hand he cups the back of her head and pulls her to kiss his lips. He's a rather messy eater though, so if she pulls back he won't misunderstand. His face is probably covered in blood.

Catherine Nilson: She giggles softly into the kiss. Whenever Catherine laughs or giggles it's like a mirage or a dream, it's hard to tell if she actually just did that or not. But Axel can feel her giggle vibrating against his bloodstained mouth. Amused, she snakes her tongue out to clean him up. She has seen him do far worse damage to a human so being covered in this small amount of blood is not so bad. She secretly basks in the... tender feelings his hand in her hair makes her feel, and her own hands go to the front of his shirt to caress his chest.

Axel Rosen: His arms around her he loves the feel of her there, the feeling that he can keep her safe. The tongue comes out to clean the blood from his mouth and he doesn't move or refrain from it. Once she's done his hand releases her hair and he takes a step back. His hand drops to one of hers. "Where to now?"

Catherine Nilson: "I kind of want to go look at water." It is a weird urge, she doesn't usually go to the river except to dispose of bodies. Maybe it will be really boring, but probably not, because she's with Axel. Who needs the sun when she has Axel? Who needs chocolate cake when she can just kiss Axel? Oh my god she has gotten lovey dovey.

Axel Rosen: The want to look at water can be understood so he just sort of nods and then starts to lead toward the river. His hand grips hers and he wonders what could be entertaining out by the water. It doesn't matter, really, he's with her this evening. Anytime he's with her he gets this feeling of completion. It takes a few minutes until they are at the water and he kicks at it before, moving to the side for her to walk closer to it.

Catherine Nilson: She bends down to brush her fingertips over the surface of the slowly moving water. The starlight shimmers upon the murky surface. Cat sits down on a boulder, then scoots over and looks at Axel, expecting him to sit beside her so she can lean against his shoulder and stare.

Axel Rosen: He takes a seat next to her then sighs a little bit. "I was removed from the family this evening." His hand grips hers as he kisses her temple. His eyes watch the water the reflection of the moon.

Catherine Nilson: "How come?" she asks him. She knows he loves his sire, so this comes as a surprise to her. She squeezes his hand tight, inviting him to squeeze back just in case it makes him feel better.

Axel Rosen: "My grandsire has kicked me for not giving her information about Tytonidae..." he will talk to about this because he trusts her. The trust there is something that has built every day for the past month or so. His fingers move down her hand then into it then back up again. "Same as my sire."

Catherine Nilson: Cat tilts her head, thinking about it. She doesn't imagine that her sire's sire would ever kick her out over loyalty like that. "That's stupid. Your sire's sire doesn't deserve somebody that loyal in her family anyway." Cat's reasoning is that if he didn't betray his guild, he definitely wouldn't betray his family either.

Axel Rosen: Her assumption is right. In Axel's eyes if it weren't for her pushing him into a corner he would have kept the secrets of both sides and not got involved. Apparently the world doesn't work like that so he leans against her and kisses her head. "It's fine. Not a big deal. I figured it was coming."

Catherine Nilson: "Her loss," Cat says and snuggles against him. "You can be in my family." d'Artois isn't that exciting, but it isn't contentious either, and Pi isn't a raging paranoid witch hunting bonerharpie.

Axel Rosen: The man looks at her and thinks about her offer and then looks to the water again. His free hand moves down his leg before he speaks. "I would need to talk to my sire first..." His devotion to his sire is absolute, and he would hardly break it.

Catherine Nilson: "What's your sire going to do? He got kicked out too right?" She won't blame him if he wants to be in the same family as his sire, if his sire is picking another family.

Axel Rosen: "I don't know that's what I need to speak to him.." he doesn't want to tell her no or yes because he doesn't no the answer. His hand moves down her leg to her knee. "Just give me bit to talk to him about that. It's a big jump?" His eyes are blue and he looks at his phone, knowing he should meet with his sire this evening.

Catherine Nilson: She doesn't mind having to leave him alone to talk to his sire. "Okay, no problem." She hopes they come up with something good. Suddenly she blushes. "Um, and when things settle down maybe some night I can meet him."

Axel Rosen: "I would love for you to meet him..." His words trail of as he looks to her thinking that they are actually at that point. He's so proud of his relationship and having found a girl like her. She makes him so happy. His eyes lock to hers before he taps his foot on the rock twice. "I'll talk to him about that too."

Catherine Nilson: She hugs him tightly, pressing her chest against him, nuzzling her face against his cheek and the crook of his neck. She gives it a brief painful nip before pulling back playfully.

Axel Rosen: The bite at his neck makes him shudder but he doesn't really feel any pain. Most feelings of pain have been numbed by an enjoyment of it, as weird as that may be. It is why he enjoys sparring and combat. A ripple comes across the water, no doubt from where a fish almost surfaced. His blue eyes watch, before willing his vision to see the heat imprints. A school, small one of fish, and he watches them swim in the current. "So why are you gonna get your hair cut?"

Catherine Nilson: Cat loved breaking and entering, but her hair was as pale as day. "Sometimes the cops see it when I'm, you know, on missions. I just knock them out, but it's still annoying. If my hair's shorter I can tuck it in my hat again." She strokes her knit cap fondly.

Re: Cat and Axel's Night Out

Post by Axel Rosen »

--The following was a live chat roleplay-

Axel Rosen: Practicality of of it makes sense so he can't really argue and her hair is gorgeous to him not matter what she does with it. He shrugs his shoulders and then pulls her legs over top of his, turning to face her so they are in an 'x' like position. His hand runs down the leggings and then back up to the knee again. "Seems good. Do you know any place that would do it this late in the evening", Axel's never been good at time. He always over shoots or underestimates what time it is.

Catherine Nilson: "No. I'll do some research," she said, her arms wrapped lazily around his shoulders. She hadn't been a research person at all as a human, but living as a vampire had forced the young woman to be vigilant and consider all options. She had to learn quickly how to use a computer and was till learning how to read.

Axel Rosen: Though research over where to get her hair cut seems a bit outlandish, he can see the need to do it. It's the same reason that he takes different routes to the same places. It's the same reason why he sleeps with his carbine and sword near his bed for protection. Being a vampire is like being a solider in the **** always having to remain attentive and ready. Axel has came to this conclusion through the several hunters that he's hunted down and killed in the sewers. "Have you talked to Doc about using his lab for dissection?"

Catherine Nilson: Cat grimaces. "Yes..." That doesn't seem like the result of her looking was any good. Sometimes her sire can be such an old stick in the mud. If only she hadn't wrecked his lab the night after she'd been turned. She always panics and tries to dig and wreck her way out of sticky situations when she should face them and fight!

Axel Rosen: The look on her face already sort of tells him what the answer was that Doc gave. He's not sure if he could have any bearing on the situation so he doesn't bother to offer. "I see. I'm sorry it it didn't go well." Leaning forward he kisses her lips softly. After a few seconds of staring off into the distance he opens his mouth. "Could just put a tarp down in my apartment.... Or the woods."

Catherine Nilson: "It's gonna be really messy," Cat muses, cheering up when he starts to list alternatives. She snuggles against his chest and murmurs "A tarp might help. And you have that cool hook and stuff in your room. We just have to move the bed out of the way."

Axel Rosen: His mouth opens to tell her that's not what the hook is for but he just sort of closes his mouth shortly after. He nods his head then grins at her about all that she has said. His fingers clasp hers. "I can move the bed no issue. And sure." He smiles at her, presses his head to hers

Catherine Nilson: Cat lapsed into a ponderous silence, thinking about how to find her mom's ex boyfriend, and if she could even stomach looking at him even if it is going to be to cut him open. "What if he's already in jail?" Cat wonders. "I'd have to sneak him out."

Axel Rosen: His eyes look to her as she goes silent and he smirks a little bit. His fingers runs down her legs again before he looks out to the water. She's absolutely quiet until she speaks out. "If he's in Jail it's going to be hard to get him out. I couldn't do it without help." he looks to her Then she says that she'd have to sneak him out and wonders how she plans on doing that.

(06:40:12 PM) Catherine Nilson: "I have this cam scrambler thing that my friend Ripper let me borrow. I can use that to disable cameras once I'm in. But that's just if he's in jail." She's not really looking forward to finding him. She could ask Doc to do it for her, but she knows that Doc is a loose cannon and will kill the guy the moment he has a name.

Axel Rosen: "I could find him for you.." He looks to her starting to realize that this is someone that is on her **** list, almost like that teacher he had killed with her. If she wants to dissect this person he would find them for her, but that doesn't mean that he won't **** him up before dragging him back to the apartment. His fingers cup her knee.

Catherine Nilson: "No, I need to get him myself. He needs to know what he did. I want to see the look in his eyes, Axel." Cat lets him cup her knee, but he's the only person she would ever trust to touch her. Speaking of, "My childe might get killed. Doc's going to talk to him."

Axel Rosen: "What ... You have a childe? And what has he done?" His eyes look over to hers now that she has his attention. He hasn't been aware of her siring someone. He had sired two before their relationship had started and he's sure that he's spoken of them once or twice. This is the first she's spoken to him about having one, and that he might be dying. That's not good, perhaps he's been selling his blood to thieves.

Catherine Nilson: She blinks up at him wistfully. "Yeah... I'm kind of embarrassed about it. I shouldn't have turned him, he's kind of a dick." She wants Axel to think the best of her, because she loves him, and she is scared that if he finds out she just recently sired a dumb jerk, he will think less of her.

Axel Rosen: "Sometimes lapses of judgment happen. What's he doing that's dickish?" His eyes look to hers and he takes a breath, "And it's not just lapses of judgment that happen. Sometimes people can cover their motives and actions." He could never think less of her unless the circumstance is drastic. She means more to him than getting angry over who she sires.

Catherine Nilson: "He's not keeping his hands to himself. I had to beat him up twice. He's getting better about it but he has, like, no sense of personal space." Cat grimaced a little, then hid her expression behind a veil of silky blond hair. When she looked back up at him, she seemed a bit emotionally stifled.

Axel Rosen: His hand grips hers as he offers her a smirk. "Not your fault, thank you for beating him up.." A chuckle leaves his lips and he leans into her briefly to try and cheer her up with contact of his shoulder and body. "Better for him that Doc talk to him before I have to get involved..." Axel isn't one to give warnings on things like that..

Catherine Nilson: "Yeah," she agrees with a tight-lipped smile, starting to feel a little better since Axel hadn't gotten mad and is even giving her funny mental images involving the untimely demise of her wee childe.

Axel Rosen: His arm wraps around her and he moves to pull her closely to him with a smile on his face. He's happy that she's not hiding her face from him anymore. He's not gonna get mad at her. She's not the object of his anger, that's under the surface, at the moment. His eyes have gone black but to her he's still grinning and smiling. His hand rests on her knee again.

Catherine Nilson: Everything feels normal, and soon the clouds in her mind pass over. Back to her usual self, she says "I never liked popsicles. They always tasted like the wood stick. Gross." Who knows how that came up, but there it is. Cat strokes Axel's chest and stares at his shirt.

Axel Rosen: "I wasn't a fan of anything overly cold or overly sweet." The list really includes almost everything sweet. He's not a fan of candy or anything like that, or wasn't rather. His fingertips move up and down her knee in a pater. Her hand to his chest and her eyes on his shirt. "Honestly much rather liked meat."

Catherine Nilson: "Hehe. That doesn't surprise me. You did eat a lady's throat meat." Her dusky green eyes light up with amusement at the fond memory. If there's anything that can cheer Cat up, it's thinking about her beloved mate feeding on the neck of an insolent human.

Axel Rosen: She laughs a little and he smirks as that's what he wants to hear. He wants to make sure that she's at last moderately happy at all times. "She was on your **** list. She had to die." His words are blunt, eyes still black as his mind lingers on her childe. He probably won't be hard to find. He's sure that her childe would have her scent on him. He decides that he will stay out of it for now

Catherine Nilson: "Axel... do you have anybody on your **** list we could feed from? We already did one of mine, and we're gonna do Steven, so we should eat one of yours too." She doesn't know if he made any enemies as a human, though. It would surprise her if he had. He's such a good guy.

Axel Rosen: "My father's dead." He states rather matter of fact like and the way it's said is cold and he just sort of looks to her. "Other than him I stayed out of trouble. The only **** list human I have is Jessica. I want her dead, I believe have a plan for that." He smiles at her and runs his fingers along her leg again before leaning back until he's laying on the boulder.

Catherine Nilson: Cat blinks up at him suddenly, staring, but he seems happy about his dad being dead. Cat had loved her dad, but she knows that not everybody is the same. Doc hates his dad too. When he mentions his plan, she wiggles her legs in anticipation. "What plan do you have, Axel?" She asks, hoping to be a part of it. When he lays down on the boulder, she lays plastered to his side, with her leg on top of one of his legs, and her arm across his chest, and her chin resting up on his shoulder, gazing at him.

Axel Rosen: "The one we talked about with your sire upon our first meeting." He smiles at her, assuming that she is involved. He isn't aware that the woman he used to date is now a vampire too. He just kind of assumes that no vampire would sire a paladin. His arms wrap around her to pull her in close to him before he smiles at her softly. "Unless the plan has changed?"

Catherine Nilson: "No. Doc has been trying to get a shock cage, but... he's kind of wrapped up in other stuff. His mate Cythrea hasn't come back in seventy something nights, and he's been acting really mean. I think he needs to get neutered. Not that he's tried anything with me," she adds hurriedly. Doc would never harm Cat that way, he sees her as a valuable possession and knows it would completely destroy her spirits if he did.

Axel Rosen: He listens to her talk about her sire. His head perks up that her sire needs to be neutered but then she says something that eases his thoughts. It's not that he could take Doc on anyway. He respects the guy. He's glad that nothing has happened to harm her either. His fingers run along her shoulderblade and he sighs out happily. "Oh. We'll have to think of something then, but on the other hand she's left me alone and my sire so... Maybe I'll just ignore her?" He asks testing her thoughts.

Catherine Nilson: "Yeah, I mean it's not like there's anything left to say to her. She kind of threw you under a bus for no reason," Cat muses. She doesn't even know Axel's sire's sire, but she's judging her pretty hard right now. Who would punish somebody for knowing how to keep secret stuff secret?

Axel Rosen: His eyes look over to her. "Yeah she spoke to my sire after I told him I wouldn't see her anymore thus making him think I had seen her again." He shakes his head, again remember how much he doesn't like her. His eyes look over to her for a second and then breathes a little bit. "Stupid paladins."

Catherine Nilson: Yeah, paladins suck. But Cat is confused. "Does your sire's sire like paladins or something?" That would make her even grosser.

Axel Rosen: "No no.. This isn't about my sire's sire.. My grandsire kicked me out for other things." He looks at her for a moment realizing that he has made her confused. He feels bad and turns on his side to face her. "Jessica is just a waste of human potential that decided to speak to my sire after I had broken up with her." He then kisses her nose and smiles. "My grandsire booted me for other reason"

Catherine Nilson: "Ooooh." Cat gets it now. She smooches Axel on the lips, thus claiming him from the wayward Jessica. "Did your sire tell her she'd better stay away?" She hates paladins too and would rather just not even deal with them, but if she has to confront Jessica she will.

Axel Rosen: "My sire gashed her arm open and then shot me in the leg. It was the last time that I have seen her." He hopes that his words make her feel a little better as she kisses him in her claim. He doesn't mind the kiss or her claiming him. He's hers and thats that, but what would happen if Jessica came back into his life? Firstly he would ignore or attack her on sight. And if she persisted he would speak with Catherine on how to handle it. "So.. even though he can't speak I think he got his message across."

Catherine Nilson: "Hehe. Good. She got dumped fair and square." Cat rolls off of Axel and onto her back, staring up at the night sky. The stars are frozen up there, and she tries to make up shapes.

Axel Rosen: "She did", Axel agrees and then rolls to his back as well to point at Orion's belt then to other constellations. He points to them one by one as they are visible to him. He turns to face her, his head only and smiles. Jessica was dumped, fair and square and since then he's fully committed himself to Catherine.

Catherine Nilson: She meets his eyes and returns the smile, then looks back up at the stars. She reaches out and takes Axel's hand. "Stars are pretty." That's about the extent of her knowledge of stars. She knows that they are balls of fire in space, though.

Axel Rosen: The moment she takes hi hand he grins brightly and then looks to the starts again. "Not as pretty as you", before he can stop himself it slips out. The words are corny and he kind of wishes that though it was from the heart it was rather corny. His eyes close and he relaxes under the night sky

Catherine Nilson: She giggles at him, mostly because that was corny, but a little because she loves it. "Heh heh." She rolls over on her side again and licks his earlobe...
