[tCotR]-Paula Ward
"She sired another one."
Enver cut off the television and put the treadmill down to a walking pace at those words. "Another one? You sure?" Enver grabbed the small towel that hung on the side of the treadmill and gave Hannah a slightly baffled look. "That's two this week." His voice couldn't help but hold a large hint of surprise to it.
"It gets worse. One of them sired someone else." He groaned, turned off the machine and took a large, profound step off the treadmill. "Sometimes, I regret bringing you in to this part of my world, Hannah." Enver grabbed the red power-aid that was on a table and chugged the rest of it down. A hand came up to his lips and Enver used the back of it to wipe off some of the red that missed his mouth in his hurry. "It doesn't mean anything. Paula is a smart woman. Our Ace-in-the-hole if we ever need one." Enver said soldidly, his mind still focused on his cause.
"She was a smart woman,. Mr. Marshall, she's not quite how you remember her..I'm guessing. I was keeping tabs on her like you asked me to." Enver started walking towards his room, intending on showering, hoping Hannah would catch the drift and disappear. Only she didn't. Some women, when in the mood to prove a point, couldn't learn to take a cue or shut the hell up.
"She was at some doctor's office. Making a big scene. Saying thinks like how the guy was corrupt. How her sister-" Enver cut her off with a quick clearning of his throat. "Sounds like she's doing something good and useful. Lots of doctors, if not ALL of them are corrupt. Over five hundred bucks for a ten minute visit, just to tell them to rest and hydrate." Enver kept going on with his agenda for the night; a shower. He yanked off his tank top and tossed it over his head, hoping it would hit Hannah and deter her from following or talking.
A warm hand gently grazed his upper arm and had Enver craning his neck to look back at Hannah as she started talking. "Enver, she attacked the guy. In the middle of an office suit, in front of tons of people. It's probably already on the news by now."The hand dropped as Enver's jaw clenched together, slowly, but tightly.
"I'll find her and talk to her. Tell her to chill out. Alright?" Enver winked at his thrall, then gave her a cheeky grin. "If you don't move your *** out of here, you'll be getting a show real soon." Enver walked off, his fingers on the waist of his pants, as a flustered Hannah finally got the big picture. With a hurried 'goodnight, Mr. Marshall,' and a suggestion to email her later if he needed anything from her, Hannah was gone.

Re: [tCotR]-Paula Ward
Corin had been in the Dr. office getting fitted for hearing aids when she heard a muffled fight coming from the other room. The nurse in the room with her started to go out the door but Corin stopped her. "No. Stay here so you do not get hurt okay." The woman nodded as Corin had used a power on her to make sure the lady listened to what she said. Picking up the hearing aids she placed them in her ears and worked the dial so the sound was more normal.
Walking out of the room she was in she looked around at all the scared people then at the woman who had a dead Dr in her hands. Shaking her head she used some of her powers to calm the crowed and then walked over to the woman taken the dead Dr. out of her hands. She placed the Dr on the ground and then using her powers changed the memories of the people in the office as well as the tapes. She did not like the bounty system and wanted to make sure this one was safe.
Looking at the woman she motioned for her to follow her as she spoke."You know killing the Dr in front of a crowd is big no no miss. You do not want to tune in the mortals to what we are. If the one that turned you did not tell you there is a system called the bounty system and if you get on it there will be people that will kill you. If you want that I can let you do what you want but I think you want to live even in this life. Trust me the Shadow Realm is not a good place to be. I have been there many times."

He stood in front of the mirror, looking at nothing. Not himself, not what he was wearing, nothing but the wall that was behind him. Or, more specifically, the clock that hung on the wall as it ticked away. The male allowed minutes to pass, the sound of each second soothing him as he thought about how it was he was going to approach Paula about her siring habits and her carelessness. It was true, Enver was as anti-Crow and anti-masquerade as they came, but one had to be smart if they were going to give a huge middle finger to the system and the Fae Crow guy.
He cleared his throat, stepped away from the mirror and ran a hand over the coat of his suit. Enver snagged his cat keys off the table, his wallet, phone and then headed out of his apartment. It was then he remembered that he didn't know which doctor office Paula had gone to. There had to be at least twenty in the city alone.
Hannah? He sent her a text after scrolling through his phone book. She sent a reply a few seconds later, giving him the doctor's name and office suite. Thanks. He attached a smiley face to his text, then headed down the elevator and to his car.

------(Paula)
Paula didn't know what had come over her in the middle of the office. One minute she went in to talk to the doctor about his practices and the next thing she knew, she had lost her thoughts. All, except the need to destroy the man. He had laughed at her accusations and furthered fueled her anger by shrugging her off, claiming he had the best attorney on his speed dial. Did he? Did he really? He hadn't met her people yet.
Paula's hands had meant to go around his neck, to strangle him, but instead, she grabbed him and pulled him to her. Then, her fangs had sunk right into him. It was almost barbaric, animistic, but it felt so damn good. Until someone stopped her and she snarled at the woman.
"I've got a few good lawyers. Insanity pleas are not as hard to come by if you have the right people in your corner." She ripped her arm away from the woman, the doctor now scrambling off somewhere. The woman was nice, it was sickening, but she said a few words that Paula didn't recognize or know. "Let's get out of here." Paula shifted the bag on her left shoulder, her louboutin before she padded her way out of the office, not waiting for Miss Nicey nice to follow

She looked at the woman and shook her head. "Lawyers could work with the mortals but there are those of our kind that would kill you in a heart beat just for the money that gets on your head from the bounty of mortals seeing you killing and not being hurt. There are also those that would help you to lower your bounty so you would not be killed by those of our kind." She looked at the woman and followed her out of the door the hearing aids picking up all the sounds that had been muffled before. She then looked at the woman and answered the unanswered question. "If your wondering why one of our kind would have to have hearing aids, I was caught in a blast from a car and my hearing was messed up from it." She continued to walk till she found a sewer entrance and opened it. "Ever been behind the fence? If not this is the only way to get there short of having the ability to walk on water. If you follow me we can make it to the QZ and work on killing zombies or even kill the paladins in the sewer. Now those humans you can kill well those and Blood thieves." She then dropped into the sewer pulling her blade out as she did so. She was always on the look out in the sewer and loved taking out the paladins because they where a menace to the vampires and the mortals as well in her eyes. She also had it out in case she needed to use it against the woman that she had following her.

Re: [tCotR]-Paula Ward
"No, I wasn't wondering." Paula stated with a casual shrug. She didn't know the woman, she didn't care what she had to say. Enver had told her some of the things, but Paula also knew that she was a brand spanking new vampire and that if she gave a good enough reason to her bounty and said she would work on it, as a fledgling, they probably would give her some lee-way.
"Behind the fence?" Paula asked as they walked and the other woman kept talking. She was talking about killing this and killing that, most of the things she hadn't even heard of before. And why would she kill any human when she could manipulate them? The woman was hopeless, it seemed.
"You seem nice, but I think you need to mind your own business. No one would miss a crooked doctor going missing. And he will, go missing." Paula, grabbed out her cell phone and started sending some ideas about the next business meeting to her legal team. "I don't even know your name, or anything about you. And so far, you've pretty much told me everything Enver has, so unless you have something more to tell me...I think our time is up, sweet cheeks." Paula stuck an arm out to hail a cab to take her to her new destination, her "childe's" place. "Oh, and those shoes? Looked good last year. Time to treat yourself to something nice. Just a little girl tip." Paula winked to the woman as a cab pulled up, before she started to get in.

She looked at the woman going to get into the cab and grabbed her by the arm pulling her away from it. "Oh hell no you are not getting into a vehicle when you have a huge *** bounty on your head. You need to get your *** into the sewer right now and either work on it or I will send you to the Shadow Realm. Then again maybe a stent in the shadow realm will soften you mood. Just because your a lawyer does not mean you will get away with this **** in our world. Do you not understand that there are those that will kill you over and over again just for fun. They do not care if you say your a new vampire and working on your bounty. I know that you would only have 24 hrs to get it down and be off the list so that they will not kill you but with how high yours is and I did check that it will take you longer than 24 to get off the list. Also you have been on the list more than one time. You are a dense one to be on the list so many times. Now get into the sewer or loose your head." She did not like to resort to threats but this one was a stubborn and she would kill it in a heart beat.

Re: [tCotR]-Paula Ward
He'd seen her get into the cap and the male quickened his pace, his teeth gritting together in frustration. "Paula!" He shouted as loud as he could to get the woman's attention before he lost her for good. Just as she slid in to the cab, a woman with dark hair stalled Paula. He didn't know who she was, and right now Enver didn't particularly care, because in the end, Paula was still here and he was gaining on her.
By the time he was any where near Paula, the unknown woman was giving Paula a piece of her mind and he scoffed. Yeah, Paula was being a bit rash, but shoving garbage down her throat about the masquerade wasn't the best thing to do at this time. Or so, Enver thought. Really, no time would be the right time, because the masquerade was a huge hoax constructed by the Fae creatures. "There you are." There was no reason to pretend to be out of breath because this woman was talking about vampire things, so she had to be a vampire, in his mind. "You've been busy, Paula." Enver raised a finger at her, as if belittling her and then chuckled. "Scoot over in that cab of yours. I'll pay the fare and we'll have a blast tonight." Enver didn't wait for her reply before the male unbuttoned the top of his suit coat and pushed his way in the cab and sat next to Paula. "Thanks." He said to the woman, getting out a fifty and putting it in her hand. "I think I can handle it from here." A cheeky grin followed suit, along with a wink as he moved to close the door to the cab. Which would essentially close the woman out of their business.
"The sewers? Are you insane?" Paula screeched at the suggestion, her eyes going down to her designer bag and heels. "How big are my transgressions? I can pay them off if it's money they want. Money makes the world go round and round and round." Paula grabbed the lever to the door to try and close the door, but was side tracked by her "creator," as he called himself. "Enver." She purred, still trying to close the door. Her attempts were thwarted as they usually are when he butted his way in to her private affairs on the few rare occasions and when he began to crawl in to her cab, she felt her temper flare. "Get your own damn cab. I had to stand on the street for two minutes and listen to some incoherent babbling for just as long." When he made himself at home in the cab, Paula got her own idea. She was out of the cab on the other side, winked back at Enver (mostly because she found what he did annoying all the time) and bustled off towards the nearest train station.

Re: [tCotR]-Paula Ward
Corin looked at the money then at the man. "You must be her sire. You do know with your talking she is getting away. Her bounty is over 20k and she thinks she can pay it off. I say she is either dead at my hands so that the people out there do not kill her or we get her *** into the sewer and to the QZ to work on her Gosh Damn Bounty. I am slowly loosing my temper with this one and that is not a good thing. I loose my temper and my powers go all haywire. Now here is your money back I am going to go teach that woman a lesson on what happens to people with a bounty." She handed him back the money then turned and ran to the woman stopping in front of her.
She stood not letting the woman progress as she spoke. "As for you miss I would suggest that you either get into the sewer right this moment or you will force me to use the sword on you. Your bounty is way over 20k and I doubt you have that much and even if you did the people that would kill you would take that money and the bounty on your head. I am trying to save you but you are being so bull headed and not doing something that could save your hide that I think I might have to go ahead and kill you myself. Now you have a choice. Either get your *** into the sewer and then follow me to the area behind the fence or I will take your head. Do you got that?" She stood there knowing full well her own outfit was more expensive than that of the lawyer before her. Did she care is she got blood on a one of a kind outfit from Bob Mackie you bet like hell she did but she also knew Bob would make her another one in a heart beat if she told him it was ruined by a passer by that spilled something on her.

Re: [tCotR]-Paula Ward
Enver's jaw dropped as the woman kept on talking. Twenty thousand dollars? How in the hell? He didn't know if he should be proud, or angry. Even in his wildest days, he'd only imagined to pull off a six thousand dollar bounty and that took about an hour. Paula had been a busy girl. A busy girl that was getting away.
"Sewers aren't going to help her. Can you summon zombies or something useful?" Enver fished through his wallet and pulled out a fifty, tossed it to the cabbie and closed the door. "Good thing is, if she starts working on it, she won't be hunted." Enver would make damn sure of it too. He pulled out his phone, and posted her bounty up when he found it as he walked. "Touch my creation and we're going to have a problem lady. Maybe you're just not saying what she wants to hear, how she wants to hear it. Good thing you've got me in your corner."
When the woman threatened her creation again, Enver stopped to pull out his gun and shoved it in the woman's side. "Like I said. We'll have problems. Especially if you help her raise that bounty with fighting in public or making it hard for her to feed. She's an allurist, like me. Feeding can still be a ***** for me some nights." In a blur the gun was away and hidden again, his arm grabbing for Paula before she could get too far away. "I'm not a fan of this system we have in our society, but I'm not a fan of you dying in your first week of being a vampire either." Enver's hold on Paula only tightened as she squirmed and started a commotion.
"I'll sue you!" Paula screamed out, wanting to get attention. The more attention, the better the possibility of getting away from the one who made her a vampire and the woman he had tag teamed up with. Uniformed officers were weaving through the city, on foot and with another scream, a whistle pierced the night air. A heel slammed on to Enver's foot before Paula took off. No way was she going with someone who was threatening her, and no way was she going with Enver because he was working with the woman. No one knew what she looked like, or who she was. most of all, no one knew where she lived. Paula had nothing to worry about, because she had all the right connections. If someone touched her, vampire or human, she'd sue their *** and destroy their businesses, families and whatever else she could.

Re: [tCotR]-Paula Ward
She first looked at the man beside her then the woman and put away her sword before watching the woman start to get away again. Turning to the man she looks at him and runs a hand through her reddish color hair. She shook her head at the woman that walked away and turned to the man beside her. "Sir that one is going to be hard to tell what to do. She needs to either to get the bounty down before she is killed, have someone to make the killing blow so no one can get the bounty on her, or get out of town till all this blows over. She thinks she can hire a lawyer to take care of everything and to sue who ever tries to harm her. She does not have any common sense." She smoothed out her outfit and then turned toward where the woman went. She kicked off her heals and started after the woman with her bare feet. She looked back at the man as she walked on then back to where the woman had went. This time she was going to try a different approach with the ***** of a woman. Damn she hated lawyers they where nothing but rats with big egos to boot. They prayed on those they see as week and then took the people they where supposed to help for everything they where worth. She hated that but she also never killed anyone in her life and would not do it now even if this woman was a pain in the *** and needed a trip to the SR to straighten her out.
Catching up to the woman she stopped her again. "Okay lets try this again Miss. You have to either work on getting your bounty down, ask someone to kill you so no one gets your bounty, or leave this town never to return. I know this is not what you want to hear but if you value your skin the former and the latter would be the better choices. I know you believe you can take who ever out by using your lawyer friends but I do not see that at all. The people that will hunt you would if you choose to sue them or anything just kill you again and all the ones you have turned that you try to sue them with. The humans courts have no control over our world only the mortal one. If you go up against someone that can control the judge you would loose because the others in this town have more power than you. I know you have your mind made up but please take that into effect that you would just be putting your whole family if you call them that in jeopardy by being stubborn and pig headed to think you are safe from someone." She stood there and waited for the woman to reply and tapped her bare foot.
I know you have your mind made up but please take that into effect that you would just be putting your whole family if you call them that in jeopardy by being stubborn and pig headed to think you are safe from someone."
