Kira scanned the CrowNet. The next amusing thing. Calling a whore out for what she is. A whore, is a whore, is a whore. It really didn't matter in what context, back alleyway or in a comfy private room, you still got paid to be a slut. She wished someone would cut off CC's fingers, sew her mouth shut and keep her chained up somewhere. The woman was damn annoying. Then Moriah spoke. Kira laughed quite a bit on that, she loved everything she had said.
She opened her eyes, leaving the CrowNet behind. She hurried off on her mission, to talk to a few of the wraiths. The information she got from them, it was interesting to say the least but...it didn't help on if they could be trusted.
Oh Hykajae was a trip to talk to. Kira wondered if this one spent way too much time in the Shadow Realm or if it was crazy to start with or shortly after becoming a vampire. She had to wonder. She was worn out by time she was done talking to that one. She sent her wraith to speak to the others and to relay the information to her so she could put it on The Misfits CrowNet.
Wondering around in the darkness of a building, Kira found a new found gift. She was wishing she could see better, there had to be more loot to be taken and soon enough a ball of light formed in her hand. She realized she had stared at it for at least five minutes, moving it around the room. "This is neat.." she said softly as she left the room. She quickly had to put the light out when the guard strolled by.
Kira watched the guard move away until she heard a bang next to her like something hit the door. Her eyes widened and looked around but saw nothing. ****... she thought, the guard turned around and headed straight towards her.
"Let's fight.."
She should have known Warrior would have screwed this all up. The guard was already on alert, their gun out. I can talk my way out of this.. she tried to tell herself. She could have...but the urge to fight took over when she saw the guard on the attack first.
Kira rushed forward, her blade flashing as it went into the guard's head. The fight was over before it even started as the body fell to the floor.
"That was no fun.."
Kira blinked, she looked down at the body. "This is all your fault! He didn't have to die!" she hissed. "Should only kill those who deserve it." she said, she had a problem with killing those who were just doing their job but sometimes she just couldn't help it if she got in that zone. She quickly left the building, she didn't need to add cop deaths on top of a guard.
She fumed all the way back to the house to drop off the loot. "Fine, you want a ******* fight so badly." she said. She headed off to find a Mooncalf down in the catacombs. "Have your damn fill. I got a bounty to work off now, thanks to you."

The animals had given up trying to sleep in Kira's bed. She had tossed and turned so much, the blankets were kicked off onto the floor.
Death played out in front of her, mainly her own death, different ways, different places. How many times did she die? The very dreams she had about her past, her death screen hadn't been her death. She had lived through the wound and went on from there. Could there had been other cases just like this? She saw no surviving free falling from a cliff, or being burned alive. While she loved fire, setting things on fire, blowing stuff up, being on the receiving end of fire was not fun at all. There was unsettling reliving such a death scene.
Watching a town burn left her with mixed feelings, liking the view but feeling attachment to the town. The distant screams of the people there...
She sat on her knees up on the hill, overlooking the town, her hands dug into the soft Earth.
"This is your doing.." she heard a raspy male voice behind her.
"I didn't do anything." she replied, "I warned you of the upcoming doom. It is not my fault you did not believe me."
"You allied with the devil, you brought this on us all!"
"There's no such thing as the devil. Evil lives within man's hearts." she said simply, closing her eyes. She knew what was coming. Her fate was sealed here. She pulled her reddish blonde hair aside as the blade was brought down onto her neck.
----
Kira sat straight up, the dream woke her up but seeing a bright light like the sun in her room made her scream. She gasped and flopped back onto the bed, holding her hands to her chest, the light fading from them. Who would know that a new found power would scare her...if she had been human, she was sure she would have died from a heart attack.
She sat up again and got out of bed, leaving her bedding on the floor where she had kicked it off. She got ready and quickly left the house via teleport. It was the only way to get about at this hour. She went into her shop to work on the order lists.
She caught herself singing Cities on flame with rock and roll.

Dru had Kira stay up far too long with different movies and shows, from X-Men to movies that everyone should know about. That led to falling asleep at the mall. Well, at least she didn't dream and flash everyone with a bright light when she woke up. She just wasn't sure if staying up watching such things was worth not dreaming at all.

Re: I'm not who you think I am... ~Journal~
September 16th-19th, 2013
The events over these past few nights...she had no idea what to make of it.
What the hell crawled up Ripper's butt? She thought everyone was getting along. She helped Ripper from time to time, not exactly friends but buddies maybe. She knew plenty of people called him coward before, knew about him hiding under the ground. She just didn't know how much of a coward he was until now.
He threw Lexy's childe over to the shark tank in the mall, the childe wasn't exactly awake...shark bait plus missing Dru's boost. He was the one that said where was she? A little confusing, she had been right there. Wasting power to eye spy the girl, finding her with the shark. Reading her memories to find out that Ripper had tossed her there. All he had to do was say why he did it. But no...he attacked instead.
Leaving traps in the mall, it was really bad for business. She would have been really pissed if one of her dancers lost a leg. Mean, sure she had backups, but...like Puppet, you get attached to people. So Lexy disarmed them. Kira would have helped, she did after all got by many of the ones that Windy had left for her. But as normal, it was her problem, she would take care of it.
Lexy was worse for wear, not a good thing when one needs to feed. Which landed her on the bounty list. Which as far as she could tell from the very brief talk, or rather yelling on her part with Ripper, seemed pretty much his plan. He was a coward. Couldn't just fight her if he truly had a reason for it all. No, he would wait until she was far too busy trying to lower her bounty to pick that fight. Calling her coward. Kira wished she could have moved. Dru tried her best. If her sister was upset over things, it was when she knew things were bad. Kira was the one with the temper.
Kira thought back on what she had said. Calling Lexy blood to her. It was one of those statements that spill out of your lips in the heat of the moment. While sure it was true, she thought that way many times. She was one of her only friends and blood...she didn't have many.
In the end the owl turds killed her. Not Ripper. As much as he tried to say he did. He wasn't even part of the killing strike. Taunts did not count as much as words hurt as much as a weapon.
So Kira lost her temper, she didn't really give a **** at the time, she still didn't. But she believed in fair fighting, and nothing about what Ripper did was fair. He was going to pay. Although it seemed sending him to the shadow realm right now would not be best, as it was he was still attacking Lexy by fadewalking.
Kira looked at the list of items needed for the ritual. She was going to give Lexy a boost...well she hoped it still worked in the realm. She felt a chill run through her, she hated that place.
Chicken feet. She didn't keep those around, she didn't like having to go kill a chicken for their feet. Wasteful. She had already feed but still, draining the animal of blood, then taking his feet, still wasteful. Dave wouldn't know about taking the feathers off and eating it so she was out to find a whole chicken, feet intact.
She returned home and held the thing up to Dave. "Mind eating this thing. I just want the feet." she said.
Dave stared at her. "That...hasn't been gutted either has it?" he asked.
Kira studied the bird, "Nope. Have fun with that." she said, putting it on the counter and took out a butcher knife and took off the feet and head. "There, now its not looking at you while you do it."
"Why can't you gut it. You like cutting into things." Dave said.
"Rather cut into a person. I'm not eating it either, I'm too busy to take in normal food." Kira replied, it wasn't like she needed to eat normal food so there wasn't any point in it right now. She washed her hands and quickly took off with the feet. Muskroot, she used to have quite a bit of those. She wasn't sure if she was going to get this all done, not with still trying to find and cut out Ripper's eyes. Other people were after him, so it really was only a matter of time.
Though his thrall was pretty stupid to think she was going to be at the temple, the one place people think she'd be. She had plenty of places she could be. She looked at her phone, then there was places she needed to be.

Kira sighed softly. So she didn't have to go through the whole ritual thing. She was still restoring her power so she could do some tracking, the same with Dru when she asked about it. If Dru could track, Kira could hit but both of them needed to time to recover.
Her anger over what happened had lessened, but it didn't mean she was not still looking forward to taking out some killer eyes. It just meant she could focus on some things she hadn't been doing lately.
She played a melody on the piano, figuring out the music as she went. She closed her eyes, building up louder and stronger...then she lost focus as she heard a drum beat. She opened her eyes and looked over at the electronic drums. Sof had walked over them, tilting her head.
Kira got up, "At least you got a beat." she said, picking up the feline, setting her down and moving her front paws and tapping the sensors. "Want to be my little drummer?" she said. Sof meowed, looking up at her. She picked the cat up again, "How did you get in here anyway?" she muttered. The room was soundproof, the next room was the mixer room. "I don't need any kitty meows in this." she said. She opened the door and set her down but didn't close the door when she went back in. She wasn't recording anything so it didn't matter. She picked up her violin, she started to play. The song, she went through the elements. Water, soft and gentle. Fire, rapid and strong. Air, soft and flowing. Earth, rocky like rocks falling down a mountain.
She stopped and set it down as her phone was vibrating in her pocket, she squirmed, trying to get it out of her pocket. She should have just set it on the table. Reminder to go to the lounge. She wasn't really ready yet. She left the room, putting the phone back in her pocket. She moved over to the target practice board, slipping out her throwing daggers from her sleeves. Having three in hand, she held one up in her right hand and threw it, going straight for another dagger and went to throw it. Her wraith appeared as she released it, "****!" she said, collapsing to the floor. "Why...why do you always doing that!"
Kira wished she could hit him, wrap her hands around his knee. Of course if he had a body, he'd always be a vampire and most likely much stronger than her.
"It's rather entertaining." Marcus said. "I came to inform you that a gate has been opened. That spot I told you about."
Kira got to her feet, passing through him and grabbed her daggers. "Who is watching..?"
"That freaky wraith of your sister's.."
"Alright." Kira said, picked up Sof and headed out the door. She dropped the cat off at the other house before heading to the mall.

"Oh do settle down." Kira groaned, her dancers were still hyped up from last night's show. "As soon as we settle on at least a couple of songs for next week, you can go."
They started to toss around ideas. "Moves like jagger!" Cody said, standing up and doing some awful move to it.
"Nice song, bad moves." Kira said, waving him to sit down. She did like Maroon 5 so it was a plus.
"Well, you got better moves in mind, Boss Lady." Cody pouted.
"Of course but I got to listen to it and feel it out a few times." Kira replied, not expecting Cody to pick her up and set her on stage. "Hey!"
"Get to it!"
Kira glared at him. "I didn't mean now! And there's no picking up your employer! I will be sure to add that to your contracts!" she fumed. Cody was always the problem child here.
Cody frowned, "Aw come on! Show us your Jagger!" he added as he did some more annoying moves.
Kira sighed. "Just hit the damn music." she muttered. Cody was far too happy about finding the music and hitting play. Music and dance was like fighting to her, she could get lost in it, although she got different things out of the different activities.
The hardest part was always thinking about what a guy should be doing. She couldn't have it girly or that would ruin the show. And the beef cakes wouldn't do it either for that matter.
She mapped out some dance moves up until the girl's part of the song. "Wait.." Kira said with a blink.
"I think it just clicked." Sam said before burst out laughing.
Kira jumped off the stage. "What do you mean?" she asked.
"Obviously you got come out on that part and dance with us!" Cody said, more excited then before.
Kira stared at them. "You evil little bastards. You had that planned out!"
"Uh oh, she's pissed. Run for it!" Cody said, they took off towards the door.
Kira put her hands on her hips, watching them flee. She smirked then turned off the music. She checked her phone and went to check her e-mail. She rolled her eyes. Ripper wanted to talk to her and Dru but they had to meet him somewhere. Like hell. What made him think they would ever go to meet him anywhere. She quickly contacted him to see if he would settle for that 3-way calling thing. He refused, wouldn't really say as to why he wanted to meet so badly in person. She told him she didn't trust him. The other end went still so she hanged up.
She headed out to a raid, once inside she forgot all about everything else. Zombie wolves. She was excited over the new things to play with and quickly went after the nearest one. She grinned, now this was more like it. After puttering around with a few of them, she got the key to go upstairs.
Though she had sent her wraith upstairs to see what was there. Lady Baron reported some strange things but then she heard nothing from them. She bit her lower lip, she wondered what happened. However if they were on the higher levels, Kira knew she would never get up there.
Then that damn man contacted her again. Sure took him long enough. He went on and on, not getting to any kind of point. Not what she wanted to hear. He wouldn't explain why he did what he did. She suppose he didn't like her saying he wasn't getting to any sort of point as he hanged up. Whatever. "Come back when you grow up." she shook her head. All the time in the world these vampire males but yet they still act like childish children. She could only guess it was a trap if she wanted to meet so badly in person, which was why she wasn't going to have her sister or herself go near the man. Unless it was randomly to hit him of course. Though Dru was simply doing the teleporting thing, he was not welcome at the shimmy spot.
Kira went to the second floor, thinking she would summon them back but there was something keeping her from doing so. "Well damn." she muttered. She was told there was copper pipe up here and she could have really used the help finding them. She paused as she saw the greater mooncalf. Man it looked creepy. She didn't expect to win this match but it was exciting anyway. She grinned and ran towards it.
"I was trapped up there! There was a damn spirit cage!" Marcus said, he tried to move again but couldn't. "Damn it!"
"I didn't know they did all of that." Kira said, it was a shame that the summoning didn't free him. She left him there and headed back inside. Her goal was to go kill another greater mooncalf. She couldn't let this time slip away from fighting those things.
"Oh do settle down." Kira groaned, her dancers were still hyped up from last night's show. "As soon as we settle on at least a couple of songs for next week, you can go."

Kira gave a war cry, dashing towards the creature again. This was the most fun she had in awhile.Kira used Harmful Illusion.
The illusion succeeded and the greater mooncalf screamed as the mirage damaged his mind.
Kira jumped at the greater mooncalf and lashed out violently with a series of savage attacks.
The greater mooncalf's blood spilled everywhere as Kira's blade cut deep into his arm!
With a sudden and surprising blur of motion, the greater mooncalf dived at Kira.
Kira blocked the attack with open palms. The combatants entered into a grapple for a moment, tumbling onto the ground.
The greater mooncalf ambled towards Kira, trying to get close enough to feed his insatiable hunger.
All of the greater mooncalf's gnashing and clawing was clumsy and easily avoidable for Kira.
Growling with anger, the greater mooncalf charged at Kira, clawing and thrashing.
Kira blocked the attack with open palms. The combatants entered into a grapple for a moment, tumbling onto the ground.
The greater mooncalf shuffled forward brainlessly, and attempted to latch onto Kira's shoulder.
Kira blocked the attack with open palms. The combatants entered into a grapple for a moment, tumbling onto the ground.
After a few more rounds, it laid dead on the floor. Kira leaned against the wall. "That was fun." she said. She headed back down, out of the raid. She summoned her wraith again and right away it started to *****.Kira attempted to create a Hall of Mirrors illusion.
the greater mooncalf glanced around, not knowing which illusion was the real target.
Kira bore down on the greater mooncalf and wrestled them, their palms igniting as they pressed them towards the greater mooncalf's face.
But the greater mooncalf broke away from the grapple and pushed Kira back.
With a sudden and surprising blur of motion, the greater mooncalf dived at Kira.
The greater mooncalf stumbled forward, hitting nothing but air.
Kira countered with an attack of her own!
The greater mooncalf's throat opened and gushed blood as Kira's blade sliced cleanly through it!

These new raids were fun but she never expected to see Windy there. Why did he have to kiss her cheek? She suppose it could have been worse, he's kissed her on the lips before. She would be more upset about it of course. She was aware of Windy sending her texts before, maybe this was result of ignoring him.
Later on...
Kira had gotten what she wanted. Another pair of eyes added to her jar, as far as she was concerned it was over. Killing him would take too much time, time she just didn't have but she had gotten what she wanted. She left the raid then to take care of some things.

Re: I'm not who you think I am... ~Journal~
October 6th, 2013
Kira had mixed feelings about this month. Her birthday, or at least what she claimed as her birthday. Halloween, Samhain. She could look forward to that. Of course she was doing something different, she was doing that auction. She was a bit nervous about it.
Her phone started to go off. She knew by the ring tone, it was Windy. She didn't answer it, but it wouldn't stop. Soon texts started to come.
Windy: Pick up your damn phone.
Kira raised an eyebrow. The phone started to ring once more. "What the hell do you want?" she asked. This seemed different than his texts just saying he was thinking about her.
"I figured you would help in this. If it was about the right person." Anemoi replied, "Some vampire was attacking humans at the bank."
"And who would I care about that was at the bank?" Kira asked.
"Nimrod and Setne." Anemoi said.
Kira thought for a moment. "Setne is a friend of a friend. Nimrod...isn't under my protection." she said.
"But you feed him once in awhile." Anemoi replied.
"Yes, he's too innocent to get mad at.." Kira replied, "Who attacked them?"
"Ivy...and this vampire got herself into the Order. I think I have a reason not to trust her." Anemoi replied.
Kira laughed. "You guys were stupid enough to let vampires in your little order? You picked the wrong one to trust in, that's for sure." she said. "Can't believe The Order would be that stupid. Thought you were all, all vampires must die."
"They were before that **** happened. Believe me I wasn't happy about it." Anemoi said, "But of course I don't give a **** about most people, just certain people."
"If you want advice, you tell that Order of yours to kick her *** out. She's plotting to betray you guys publicly on the CrowNet." Kira said to him. "As far those two, I'm pretty sure Nim has people to protect him. I'm not going to get involved. I would help only to track her down but I'm not going to risk my own neck for this. I need to stay pretty for awhile."
Anemoi wasn't sure what to think about that, why does she have to stay pretty for awhile? She going on a date? The thought irritated him. "Can you at least give me proof? Copy of what she said?" he asked.
"I suppose. Only because I hate lairs like that two faced girl." Kira replied with a sigh. "Just keep my name out of this. I don't believe that you are not trying to get me killed with the whole paladins and vampires shouldn't be interacting."
Kira hanged up and looked through the CrowNet for the right section and sent it to him.

Re: I'm not who you think I am... ~Journal~
October 2013
So many things had happened this month. She had decided to sign up for the auction, she was working on buying relics. She hadn't expected Windy to buy her however. Three nights...she wish she didn't get lost in the dances, it was almost like getting lost in a fight.
She closed her eyes, damn that man. How dare he. Touching her, kissing her. She had no idea what to do about him. He might have told her not to ignore his phone calls and text, but she had no reason to talk to him. She still had to be paranoid if someone found out about them talking. She was taking too many risks.
Then Dru had went to help Lexy with something, she should have been there but she couldn't leave. She had too many things to do, she wished she had gotten out of it. When Dru returned and told her all about it, she wished she had been there more. She would have to be ready for the next party.
She opened her eyes, looking in the mirror. "Happy Birthday to me."
'Now who is depressing?'
"Shut up.."
Start of November 2013
Kira really should have found out who all was an ally, who planned on being there and what the goal was. The next "party" had gone to ****, and she sure didn't get anything out of it.
"You got a holey heart again. Why won't you be more careful! Damn emotions are a pain!"
Kira held her head. "You don't think I'm suffering right now! Oh I just ask people to stab me in the damn heart! This was not my fault! It was so not a warrior's wound! Getting hit by a damn pen." she snapped. She sobbed, "****...this better heal soon." she flopped down on her bed.

Re: I'm not who you think I am... ~Journal~
November 5th-6th
Anemoi stared at his computer screen. Man there were sure a lot of dumb fucks among the vampire race. Expressly the ones who were killing their own for no reason. Oh well, not really his concern. At least now all humans in the town could see what these pricks were talking about. He exchanged some words with Lexster but hadn’t heard a word from Kira. She was most likely sleeping, she kept some strange hours even for a vampire.
He took out his phone and pressed to call her. Ring, ring, ring, voicemail. He tried a couple more times then sent a text to answer her phone or he’ll tell the vampire community that the song he posted was about her.
Kira heard her phone go off a few times, the song played in her head. Knowing who the song was about, put him in her dream. She woke up with a start. “Now what..” she muttered. She reached over to pick up her phone, she raised an eyebrow. What was he talking about? She closed her eyes and looked on the CrowNet, she felt like she was having a panic attack. She dropped the phone as she fell out of bed. “Damn that man.” She said, untangling herself from her sheets. She grabbed her phone, sent a text of ‘just a sec’. She gathered the traps that she had around her and put them back out of the way. Finally when the phone went off again, she answered it. “What the hell are you trying to do? Why are doing this to me!?”
Anemoi smiled at first when he got a text back, he waited a moment before calling her again. He pulled the phone away from his ear when she called, he should have expected that. “Just trying to get your attention.” He said, “I’m understanding the world you live in now. Do you really have to worry about those dumb fucks?”
Kira sighed and sat down on the bed. “There are easier ways to get my attention stalker man.” She replied. “Yes, those dumb fucks run the city. Anyone who goes against them dies, hell, you look at them the wrong way and they kill you. And you want to join this circus.”
“Had no idea it was that bad. I think I’ll stay paladin for awhile longer. Think I’ll try to help the way I am for now.” Anemoi replied, “But never mind that. What way can I get your attention without screaming my obsession from the rooftops?”
Kira blinked, shifting uncomfortably. Well, at least the word obsession was right. They both knew it wasn’t love, neither one knew what that felt like. “I can’t be hanging out with you just because you want me to. You’re going to get me killed.” She said.
Anemoi frowned, “Don’t have to hang out in public you know..” he replied. “By the way…why did you have to go telling Lexster about our date?”
“Huh?” Kira said, “That was no date.” She added. “I…didn’t really say that much about it. Of course she was going to ask if you behaved yourself and I told her the truth. You put your hands on me…and lips.”
“But I left when you wanted me to, doesn’t that count for something?” Anemoi asked. “You’re going to tell me you didn’t enjoy a little passionate rough housing?”
Kira bit her bottom lip, she had no idea what to say to that. She wasn’t sure how she felt about it all. “I…I need to go. Do remember I sleep, so just because I don’t answer my phone doesn’t mean I’m ignoring you!” she then hanged up.
Anemoi put his phone down, he smirked. She sure changed the subject and hanged up fast.

November 8th, 2013
"Even though we've practice this all week, I really don't know how you talked me into it." Kira said to the Beef Cakes as they were getting ready backstage.
"We think you should always do one song and dance with us." Sam replied.
"But why does he get to dance with you most of the time! I'm going to strike!" Cody pouted.
Kira rolled her eyes with a sigh.
"Because she doesn't have to worry about me trying to feel her up, unless its required of course." Lorenzo said with a smirk.
"Anyway, you're all up first. Get out there." Kira said, waving them off as she waited backstage. She was so tired. There wasn't enough hours in the night for all this ****. Taking of businesses, she was glad her urge to fight wasn't bad with the heart wound from that blasted pen but..once it wore off. She closed her eyes, she wouldn't be able to hunt gangsters. It wouldn't take much to get a bounty that people would see. Couldn't risk breaking into buildings either. Would really leave music as her only release. She opened her eyes, looking at the time. As soon as the closing number was done, she would be off to yet another project.
The beef cakes returned to change into the next set. The closing song was a club theme, so they were all dressed in clubbing outfits. The song was Who Owns My Heart she could sort relate to the song in a way but she hadn't been the one who had suggested it. She was always out voted when it came to the music, but yet she was the one who had to come up with the dance.
After the show, the place was still open for dancing and drinks, she had people to run it. She changed and left the lounge.
