If there was one thing Shamus had now that he was a vampire, that was money. However, the habit of not wanting to spend it stuck to him from time to time. The sound of one thousand per hour just sounded extremely high. His thought process probably even showed on his features how much discomfort it gave him as he frowned a bit. He expected it to at least, he figured the woman he was talking to to be shrewd.

Before he could make any comments, his mind was bombarded by thoughts from Elizabeth. Then words came from C.C. It was rather difficult to try to distinguish what exactly was going on with the two conversations. But he picked up two things from C.C. That being: "I can teach on your lap and she can practice on my human's." The only thing he picked up from Elizabeth was, "Summon me home," and then images from that flower shop of hers. Trying to piece everything together was a pain, but whenever he did a small smile came across his features as he scratched at his chin, "I wonder..." Shamus was rather curious on how it would go and entertained by the idea. He had a feeling that Elizabeth would end up shooting C.C. before it was all over, though. She would probably shoot him, too.

His head slowly moved around in a circle as his eyes focused on C.C. with a stronger hold than they did earlier when his mind was suffering from an overload, "I tell ya somethin' that ya most likely be pleased ta hear... She just got out of me head and she be interested in it, aye. But I will have ta go pick her up." Shamus shook his head violently in attempts to stabilize his mind, "At tha time we can talk more about tha price ya have, aye?" He gave her a wink, "So just wait for me, aye?" He didn't waste his time in muttering a few things and teleporting himself home.

Once home, he had already decided that he needed a change of clothes. The things he had wore out in public had already been seen enough, it was time for something fresh. It was not until he was already mostly undressed that Elizabeth's voice chimed inside his head once more. A small grin popped up as he instantly began to chant to himself in order to summon her. She was in for more than one surprise, Shamus was sure she would like this first one at least.

As she appeared before him, he immediately threw his arms around her and brushed his lips up against hers, "Ahoy there, Tulip!" He cackled a bit as he looked down at himself and then back at her, "I do be supposin' that this not be tha proper attire ta go out and about with, aye?" He quirked a grin though it only crept to the right side. Now all he had to do was remember where C.C's place of business was. If he couldn't remember he'd just have to find a flyer.

She watched him as they walked, curious as to what all of the facial expressions meant as they passed across his face. However, she never had a chance to ask him properly, because suddenly he'd announced he had to vanish to go and pick her up - and vanish he did. Right off the street, in front of everyone, he just vanished and she was left walking with no-one and people staring. All she could do was pretend nothing untoward had happened and hope people thought they'd only imagined her walking with someone before. However the people staring and even pointing at her was saying otherwise.

She darted down an alley, because while she liked attention it wasn't 'that' sort of attention she liked. She'd been told that getting that sort of attention would get her hunted and killed. She'd been there and done that before, and had no plans to do it again. She ran down the alley and out the other end, hurrying back to the club and only slowing down when she saw the bouncers outside. No-one would be able to do anything to her with them around - no-one human anyways. Which reminded her, she should really look into getting some more bouncers who were vampires! They could come in handy with the shits in this city!

She spoke to the guy in charge of the security tonight and described Shamus to him, letting him know that if he came by with a woman, to let them straight in and not to put them in the queue. She then slipped by them and went straight up the light up stairs that lit up with the pressure of footsteps. She then stopped by her office to drop off the rest of the flyers she'd not handed out and then went through to the practice room to warm up.

It was a bog standard dance room. Pale wooden floors that were polished daily. Mirrors down all 4 sides of the room. 4 poles - one in each corner and a 5th in the centre. A ballet bar down one side. A couple of hoops hanging from the roof. And a couple of sets of rolled silks. She rolled a couple of chairs in from the office and one of the private rooms so that there was a normal chair and an arm chair there, as they took different skills to use each. She'd heard the stereo being used earlier, so she knew that was working - which meant all that was left to do was to wait and see if they showed. Then to see what sort of dance she would choose to learn first. It was going to be an.... interesting night.

When he pulled her to him, her lips curved up in a larger smile. The shears she had in her left hand dropped to the ground in her shop, something she, or a staff member would pick up when the shop opened again. Elizabeth heard the clang of the sheers on the floor right before her body disappeared and reappeared in their bedroom. With his arms around her in his current state, Elizabeth's brow raised. This was her surprise? Not that she was disappointed, for the obvious reasons, but this was nothing different than almost every other night. No, this could not be just it. She would be slightly disappointed if this was it. Elizabeth wouldn't say it, but she couldn't keep keep her thoughts on it from him. Once they bound, Elizabeth had allowed her thoughts to be open with him, even if it wasn't the most pleasant or "sane" of thoughts.

Her lips broke their kiss, just in time for him to pose a question, which had laughter bubbling from her lips. Her eyes wandered over the naked parts of his body, before Elizabeth shook her head, her eyes slowly narrowing. "Not unless you wish me to go on a murdering spree all evening." She replied both calmly and sweetly, though her eyes held a slight whirlwind of maliciousness and unscrupulous flair to them.

"Am I dressed appropriately for our evening out?" The woman looked down at her own attire, a silk green halter top, accented with a white skirt. She asked this for a specific reason. If she was not, he would ask her to change her attire and perhaps give her a hint as to where they were going based on what he said about the location, or about what it is she should wear. If she was "suitable," then Elizabeth would try and think about where it is they may be going in the city, with clothes such as hers and his. "What are you going to wear?" The woman unwrapped her arms from around him before moving to the closet, inspecting his clothing (even if she had seen them hundreds of times before), and began to finger through the closet, attempting to piece together what her surprise may be and where it may be at.
Why are you taking me through troubled waters, I asked? Because your enemies cannot swim, he replied.
