There have been a few important changes to the way the wiki is run.
There is no longer a team of moderators whose job it is to write articles. Instead, article writing and corrections are now entirely left to the community. The former moderators are still of course welcome to contribute, but it's not their official job.
People who contribute lots to wiki content will be gifted 10 karma each, per month that they are active, as thanks for their hard work. Anyone can do this, so look around the wiki and see if there's anything that needs fixing, adding, etc.
There is one wiki moderator remaining, who will act as an administrator of the wiki. Instead of writing articles and adding content, the one wiki moderator Elizabeth Pratt will act in a more traditional "moderator" / "administrator" capacity, and will simply protect the database from vandalism. She will also have the final say on which version of each page makes the most sense, is the clearest, and contains the best information. Because it is not her job to write wiki articles, however, she will be keeping an eye on the most active people so she can report to me each month with details on who has helped out the most. You may contact her if you have any questions or suggestions regarding making the format of the wiki clearer.
I'd like to say thanks to all those who helped with the wiki up until now! You've done some great stuff with the wiki, and I would have kept you all on if it wasn't for the fact that wikis work better when they are a community-ran thing. As it stood, the community didn't feel like it was their places to add or update content, so they left it alone. This put extra strain on you guys, in the end, and I felt it was best to simplify the system somewhat.
