Shake your moneymaker

Post by Cinnamon Cherrywhip »

She'd had plenty of time to think about what to do once she was out, ways to increase business and maximise profits. She knew that the time spent dead would have meant that things would have slacked off and people would have skived and let things go. Therefore, she had about a month of profits to try and make up, not to mention all the private clients that would have been let down each week. She wasn't looking forward to trying to make up a story and make amends with some of them - because some of them were just, odd and would make her pay for letting them down.

She'd sketched out a picture of a generic woman on a pole, done in reverse silhouette. So the paper was black while the picture and writing was white. She was going to start doing pole dancing classes and one to ones. Her mobile number was on there along with the prices and the discounts for block booking multiple classes. It was certainly becoming more and more popular and socially acceptable to the general community - to pole dance. They'd finally realised that to do what she did you had to be amazingly fit and strong, which made you healthy as well. So as a workout it was a perfect mixture of toning, cardio and dance. She was sure she could capitalise on this fact - hence the fliers.
--------------------------------------------
The print shop had delivered her finished fliers and she was very pleased with them. They looked amazingly professional and so tactile with their glossy finish and simplistic design. She was actually smiling as she dressed in one of her more sparkley, skimpy and glitzy outfits that shimmered gold as the light hit it. Slinging a bag over her shoulder and a box of the leaflets in the bag, along with her phone, she headed out into the city and began to hand out and put up the leaflets anywhere she could to get the word out there. She didn't care how long it took, or how many trips in and out of the streets it would take. She was going to get the word out there herself and not delegate to another. She knew where she needed the flyers and how to get around the business owners so that they would actually advertise a service like this where they normally wouldn't.

She had a plan. And like most things in CC's life - she wasn't going to let herself fail. She would succeed. Regardless.

Work. That was all Shamus seemed to be doing these nights. If it wasn't keeping tabs on his own business, making sure ends were meeting there, he was running all around town doing odd errands for Elizabeth. Not that he minded the latter. Usually the errands meant he was able to spend some great deal of time with her or that he could get something even rarer: Some alone time with himself. This was one of those occasions. Hunter Charms were in need and he was one who could get them easily for her. And the sewers always felt like a home away from home.

The complete darkness was a paradise and the hunters made for a great excuse going there. His time was however limited. If he remained gone for too long, Elizabeth would just summon him back or do some weird stuff that would block his powers off. It was always under the guise of him ignoring her or something else. But Shamus was starting to think that she just liked to mess with him. Because as soon as he emailed her from his phone, everything was okay. There was not a problem in the world. But either way, he did not want to press his luck to find out and climbed his way out of the sewers.

Usually Shamus would have to peek around a bit to make sure no one was looking as he made his way out of the man hole, just in case. This time, there was no need for any worries as he made his way out. There seemed to be a bit of a commotion going on that had all eyes on a single individual. He could not tell just who they were, but he was hoping it was not another protester. His business was suffering enough from them already, complaining that his prices were too high for jewelry of the finest caliber. All of them were nut jobs.

With a need to know what exactly was going on, he carefully moved his way through the small crowd that was gathering so that he could see what everything was about. The moment he was close enough a bark of laughter erupted from him which caught him a few of his own stares. Shamus was able to understand very well the reason this individual, CC, was capturing all of the stares now. The way she was dressed this evening, would catch the eyes of most men, plus she seemed to be doing something. As always seemed to be the case, curiosity soon won him over.

With a quick stride, moving through those that were making cat calls and other inappropriate comments, he made his way to CC. His eyes did not focus on what she was wearing, but rather what she was holding on to. Shamus had only met the woman once before, but had seen her thoughts on a lot of things on the crownet. If he had to take a guess, what she was holding was her reason for all of the commotion. As his eyes moved back to focus back on hers, he smiled a bit, "Ahoy there. What has ya up ta everythin' on this night?"

The walking in the heels, the handing out leaflets, the abuse she'd got from some conservative group of women and a man who'd thought he'd push his luck further than anyone should had annoyed her and turned her mood a little sour. So to cheer herself up, she'd decided to do an impromptu little dance for the passers by - righteous be damned. And so the lampost had become her pole, the pavement her stage, as she strutted, twirled, gyrated and wiggled all she had while sending out whatever it was in her that helped allure people. She still didn't understand her powers, and she kept on using some without realising or meaning to. This was another of those occaisions.

She'd finished the main part of her dance and so had picked up her leaflets from where she'd hung them and begun handing them out to the crowd, nodding and smiling to them all and the various comments that were tossed her way, regardless of how lewd. It was just another night for her really, nothing special, nothing different. What was different however was when a loud laughing bark rang out through the crowd that gave her pause, for she recognised it, had heard it before. It was only when she turned and saw the face coming her way and calling her name that she grinned and recognised them. Unfortunately the surprise and recognition meant that the whole allure and power she were casting on the crowd was intensified and aimed directly at him - without her realising she'd done it.

She winked at Shamus and blew him a kiss, offering him a leaflet as she shimmied her way past to finish off handing them out to all the remaining people. Once the crowd had all but dispersed, just a couple of people left behind hoping for more than the dance they'd just had. She headed back over to Shamus with a bit of a cheeky grin on her face, waiting for the tourettes to begin as it had last time.

"So? What do you think of the business idea? Dance lessons for anyone interested in sexing it up a bit as well as getting an amazing workout. I mean come on - you don't get a body like this without hard work!"

She grinned at him then frowned as the men behind him started making lewd gestures and so she shouted at them and pointed back up the street.

"OI! Get your asses up the street there to Silks. And if you've got the cash..... all those things you were gesturing about will happen. Now **** off and let me talk to this guy, cause he's worth about 5 of you!"

She smirked as they looked a little shocked, yet still interested in what she'd said. After a bit of discussion, the majority ruled and they all headed off up the road in the direction she'd suggested, discussing amongst themselves what it was they would pick from the menu, and what the menu might contain... She turned back to Shamus and rolled her eyes in a bemused fashion.

"Sorry about that. Now, yeh, what d'ya think?"

She grinned at him, flirted a little with him and touched his arm gently to give that bit of physical contact that often sent shivers up a man's spine and got her a sale. She was in sales and work mode, and it was very hard to switch it off so suddenly.

There was something about that kiss C.C. blew at him. There was something strange about it. It had an intoxicating feel to it while a different kind of numbing sensation. No longer was Shamus worried about his surroundings, no longer was he worried about corporate sabotage, and no longer was he worried about someone trying to kill him. The only thing that he could truly focus on was her.

As she moved on to give a few of leaflets to those that had remained behind, Shamus could feel everything hitting rock bottom. His was not the only object of her attention. Just where had he gone wrong? Something began to slowly nag at him in the back of his head and his eyes turned to the flier he had in his own hands. He did not even remember how the piece of paper got there, but it was interesting. C.C. was going to be teaching exotic dancing. He rolled his head around in a few circles as he thought about it all and a memory flashed back to him. He was under the powers of Seduction.

Strength of will towards women was always a hard thing for Shamus. Within the past eight months or so he had out of nowhere grown an iron will. Maybe it was the fact that he had experienced it before or the fact that he knew he was under the spell, but the power just didn't quite work the way it had before. It completely baffled him. He found himself shaking with a barking laughter. As he lowered the paper he was face to face with C.C. To stop the laughter he had to shake his head violently followed up with continued apologies, "Apologies on me own behalf. I not be laughin' at yer business venture. It be this sensation. I have not had this kind of treatment in over a year."

He did not say much after that, watching and listening to her. The men that had gathered and were looking as if they were wanting to start some creative trouble, C.C. quickly dispersed. All of this was enough time for Shamus to quickly gather his wits about him in more ways than one. A plan was starting to form that might get him in a bit of trouble in his own right, but it would certainly be worth it, just to see the reaction. A quirk of a grin took hold of his features, though it only held to the right side. He would definitely have to set this in motion.

With a slow roll of his head around in a circle, he pushed his mind from the realm of thought to focus back on C.C. That in itself was not a hard thing to do with the powers that were coursing through him, "I do be likin' what ya have set here." He gave a few quick nods, before carrying on, "I think I have tha perfect customer for ya. It be quite tha surprise on her part when she will find out about tha whole." He cackled a bit as he looked into her eyes, "Should we negotiate over tha prices and then be havin' an accord?"

The barking laugh was slightly off putting, but her sales brain was in overdrive and she just smiled and pushed the discomfort away. Though what he said about not having had the treatment for over a year totally confused her - she didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Not in the slightest. However, with a roll of his head he seemed to get his tourettes under control to compliment her on her business. By this point, she was all but hanging off of him as if he were a pole on one of her stages. She looped her arm through his and began to walk - needing to move away from where she'd just caused a bit of a scene in case trouble in the shape of the police turned up. As she walked, she smiled and nodded while her hand and fingers teased over his arm and the side of her chest pressed to his upper arm. She didn't know the meaning of the phrase "Personal space" and this was very evident as they wandered along.

"I take it the woman you would like to set up with lessons is your own one? A wife or a girlfriend - or both, just on different nights."

She didn't judge, not with what she did and especially not if there was a chance to get two people signed up!

"But you'll need to tell me what it is you'd like her to learn before I can come up with a price for you. There are so many skills I could offer and at so many levels - so how skilled, and in what, would you like her to be? Soon as I know that - we can agree a price and get started. I'm free tomorrow and could easily... slip her in if you'd like?"

She chuckled and looked up at the man with those large hazel eyes of hers twinkling wickedly and her eyelashes batting innocently.

The way her hands moved over his arm and how she was pressed up against him would normally have Shamus backing away at this moment. That was under normal circumstances. These had a different rule to them. He was still suffering under the effects of her special charismatic allurist charms, most notably Seduction. So as they moved on in the direction of her choosing, he felt at complete ease.

What C.C. first had spoken of had sparked a bit of his interest. Shamus did not expect her views to be any different, given the profession she decided as a career path. However, it did bring to mind if she knew anything at all of his own past. While she may be a fledgling, it did not mean that she did not do any homework on him since their first encounter. But he felt that in the end she would do him no harm.

Abstaining from answering right away seemed to be the best choice, because he would have interrupted her had he spoken too soon. At this point in time, Shamus wanted anything other than that. He wanted C.C. to be in a supreme state of happiness and seemed like that was to be the case whenever she looked up at him and he was able to see the look in her eyes.

Slowly he pulled his eyes away from hers with a slow roll of his head in a circle. The moment his eyes were not focusing on her, a haze seemed to clear up, but the moment he looked upon her again, more fog arose. The thoughts of Elizabeth kept enough wits about him, "Aye... It be for me wife." He had finally managed to answer the first question and now there was the following up question. Once more he rolled his head around in a circle before he could answer, "She be from a different generation, as it were. Aye, that be a good way ta put it. It might be a good idea ta show her what this generation has ta offer with all of its dancin' styles, aye?" He gave a bit of a nod and then began to laugh. Everything coming together was cutting through the fog like a knife.

She was used to men looking at her with lust in their eyes, sometimes with love or something else - but the way he was looking at her was a bit creepy to be honest. Mind you, the whole of him was a bit creepy, so it wasn't really that much of a jump to creepy eyes too. She brought her furthest away hand up and teased her fingertips over the back of his hand, skin on skin contact that teased and tickled as she walked along with him in silence for a while, just listening to his words. So he was married, and wanted his wife to dance like a hooker. Not the first time she'd heard that request and she very much doubted that it would be the last. She smiled and nodded her head to his request, chuckling softly.

"That's not a problem at all. So you want her on the pole and in your lap? What about a striptease too? And, mmm, how apt is she at dancing? I mean - how many lessons do you think she's going to need exactly?"

She hoped above everything that the woman had some innate ability. Because she'd tried to teach women before who had no feet - nevermind two left feet. It just ended up making her cranky and annoyed and snappy - which wasn't good for anyone's health and well being.

The subtle touch of her hand was a bit unusual. Shamus did not really have his hands messed around with too often unless it was by Elizabeth. And the more that CC danced her fingers across the back of his hand, the more nervous he was becoming. The tools that he used to live out his very life might be in danger. It was this moment he thought about getting some type of gloves to better protect them as he intently focused on her hands and what they might do.

The words that CC spoke brought him out of his constant stare, however long it did last. Everything she had said was a good point at the end of things. Shamus had never really thought of Elizabeth being a lap dancer or a pole dancer and he still could not form the thoughts of it. For whatever reason it just did not seem to work together with who she was. A strip tease, he thought could be plausible, if no one ever knew about it. He rolled his head around in a few circles as he cleared all of his thoughts so he could start over.

As a hand reached up to scratch at his chin, he knew that none of what she had said was the reason he had wanted Elizabeth to do this. The look in her eyes would be to die for, in fact she might just try to maim him over it. A soft chuckle left Shamus as he thought about it, seeing the entire picture unfold before looking over to CC, "While that do be a wonderful idea, I must confess ta not really knowin' what all there be in tha possibilities. Perhaps it just be wise ta give her a crash course on everythin'?" A quirk of a grin slowly spread over his features, though it only held to the right side. If this was to work, it would be glorious.

Slowly he placed a hand to his temple and through his mind the wave of communication was already sent to Elizabeth, "I have a surprise for you." Shamus gave a bit of a nod as he looked a bit more focusedly at CC, "Just tell me tha time ya want ta meet up at yer studio as it were. And from there we can get everythin' in order, aye?"

She nodded her head as he spoke and explained a couple of things, her own mind calculating and trying to work out what to charge as well as who he was and what he was like. He was a bit of an enigma to her, but she would have fun trying to work him out and bring out the real him from within. She'd have fun if she could turn him into a bit of a toy project.

"I'm certainly free just now actually. And we can call it $1,000 per hour for the lessons in everything."

She thought it over for a minute and then smiled up to him with a twinkle in her eyes as she stepped marginally towards him, drawing him closer to her as they walked.

"Do you want to stay while I teach? When we do the lapdance section - your lap could be what I demonstrate on"

Her hip rubbed against his as they walked along, heading back to her place.

"What do you think? If not, my human could be what your wife grinds against. He's quite good looking, so I doubt she'll mind too much."

Elizabeth was busy tending to a few business matters in the flower shop. Two weddings, both on the upcoming weekend and both had fairly large orders. The blonde vampiress pulled open one of the three coolers and went down her checklist. Two flower girl basket arrangements, check. Seven boutineers, check. Six bridesmaid arrangements, one maid of honour arrangement. Check. Mom's corsage, check. Dad, grandpa and uncle's boutineers, check and three other corsages. All seemed as it should be. The final pieces would come together for table arrangements during the dinner meal.

The blonde, petite woman moved to the next cooler, opened it up and frowned. This order was not coming along as easily. The colour scheme was peculiar in her opinion and the flowers just seemed to not blend together as nicely as they could when paired with something else. But, the customer was always right and so, the woman would work hard and heavy on the final pieces while she left her other arrangers finish the table toppers tomorrow. A somewhat weary Elizabeth put the clipboard down as she left the cooler with a sigh, then headed to the cash registers where she would start cleaning out the tills and prepare them for the next day. She had finished one of the tills when his thoughts flooded hers.

No matter how weary she was, he had a way of making her smile and feel alive once again. He mentioned a surprise, something that Elizabeth would never turn away. It could be anything; a new kitten, a relic ((as they gifted them often to the other)), a new childe; the possibilities were honestly endless with her husband. As Elizabeth worked on the second register, her mind fleeted in to his, brushing against it softly at the first few words, then weighing heavily as her thoughts continued. Then summon me home, or I shall bring you to me. It is rude to tease a lady with promises of surprises. Her tone was teasing and with it followed a laugh a few seconds later.

Elizabeth allowed her current actions to filter into his mind as she progressed with closing up the shop, so not to have him summon her before the blonde vampiress managed to lock the building up. She could only imagine what she would be greeted with tomorrow. Once the door was locked, Elizabeth called out to him again. I am ready when you are. The woman waited to feel his presence engulf her before he commanded her at his side.
Why are you taking me through troubled waters, I asked? Because your enemies cannot swim, he replied.
