i'll be your headache. [evee]
Nishaa had been in the Necropolis for hours, she was drinking cider and black, it was about her third pint already and she could feel that happy little buzz in her head that made her feel all warm and fuzzy.
“Haven’t you had enough yes miss?”
Nishaa took the time to look from her glass of cider to the big, plump man at the bar. She raised an eyebrow at him and shoved another green note in his direction. The woman’s slur of words indicated that she was already tipsy, and practically on her way to the drunken stage. She spent most nights here, apart from when she was breaking in office buildings for the ‘shits and giggles’.
”’nother.”
There was a pause between the two before the nasty looking barkeep took the green note from the bar, dragged it towards him with his grimy fingers and poured her another cider and black before pushing the pint glass in her direction he didn’t care if the contents in the glass sloshed over the counter, or even stained her black shirt. She grumped and grabbed the glass and took a big swig.
“Anything else?”
Nishaa in response gave him the finger. The bartender growled and grabbed the woman’s drink out of her grasp and threw it in the sink, the glass shattering.
“You’re cut off.”
Nishaa again gave the male the finger and snorted at him. ”Good. I didn’t like your **** anyway.” she dropped herself off the barstool and left the Necropolis in a huff. Pushed open the doors to Gullsborough and turned left. She’d go back to her stupid hotel room and think of a stupid reason to stay alive. It was really easy, but tonight even though Nishaa didn’t know it. Nothing would be the same her whole life would change.
Something rippled out of the shadows grabbed the womans shoulders and threw her against the brick wall. Nishaa was far to intoxicated to even know what was going on before it was to late, she felt the hot sensation of the fangs slip into her neck, she her life drain out of her slowly. She wriggled, as she did so the fangs ripped at her neck, turning the bite marks into two deep scratches the shadowy figure growled and left Nishaa clawing at her bleeding neck with the palm of her hand, and freaked out. She was dazed, drunk and confused. She didn’t what just happened.
”Ambulance. I need. Yes.”
She left the alleyway as the blood freely poured from her wound into a crowd, hoping someone would call her an ambulance.
”Attacked. Teeth…. Jeeeezzz.. ******* jackasses.” She slurred.

Re: i'll be your headache. [evee]
Happiness hadn’t been something that Every was used to, especially when it was caused by other people even in just the smallest quantities. Her life before Harper Rock hadn’t been exactly terrible, so long as you put the drunk of a mother and evil stepfather aside, but primarily, she handled things on her own back then and did things her own way. Lia had been the only one back then after Michael’s death that really understood the young woman and she was the only one that Every really ever relied on other than herself.
So, when one gains not only a group of friends to count on, but a close knit family to bond with, it took a little bit of time. Micah was her sire, but he’d taken over the role of a father and older brother; it meant a lot more to her that she seemed to show and while she didn’t say it often, she did love him. After Pratt killed her and Lelantos visited her in the Shadow Realm to pass along the message from him – that she was loved and that he was sorry he couldn’t protect her, Every had actually cried.
She didn’t like hurting or disappointing those she loved, and she couldn’t do it again.
And that was one of the contributing reasons to why she had considered never siring again often.
When night had fallen, she went outside of the Eyrie dressed in a pair of worn light wash denim jeans that had thread bare patches in the thighs and a black tank top clinging to her lithe frame. She carried a brown cardboard box containing expensive men’s clothing, a bottle of cologne, and a few gifts that had been given to her by her ex that she put in the backseat of her Challenger before shutting the door, brushing off her clothes and then getting in the driver’s seat with a quiet exhale. It was going to be an interesting evening.
Digging out her lighter from the box, she tucked it into the pocket of her jeans for the time being before pulling out of her parking spot as soon as the engine agreed with her.
It had been easier for her than she thought to throw the lighter into the pile of oiled up clothes and gifts as she sat on the hood of her car, watching the remainder of Hadrian’s things – minus the dog, which had been renamed and given to her cousin as a welcome home gift – burn away into nothing but ashes. In all reality, it made her feel even better about the entire situation.
He’d told his brother that he was a vampire.
She still was going to shoot him for it, too.
Luckily, Branden hadn’t believed him, though, right?
After the fire had died and the objects mostly destroyed, Every hopped off her car and quietly walked to the ashes, kicking sand into place before she sauntered to her car. She yawned idly, silently wondering if she should just buy a blood bag rather than feeding off a human for the evening before she settled down for the evening on her couch until something came up for Tytonidae.
Her decision changed as she could smell a familiar scent of blood in the air and quietly, she pulled off to the side of the street to park before getting out. “Is that... oh, **** me.” Every watched the woman leave the alleyway with a bothered expression. She didn’t know her name, but she knew the face. It was the chick that had attempted to mug her and the scent of alcohol was almost as strong as Every’s thirst. Easy picking.
Hearing the woman slur about getting attacked, Every casually removed her cell phone from her pocket as she stepped closer to the shadows and pretended to dial the number for the hospital. “Don’t worry, help is on the way.” She chimed, debating on just knocking out the woman and feeding from her.

Re: i'll be your headache. [evee]
Nishaa still pushed her way through the crowd that was around her. Her neck still bleeding from the anonymous attack, but she didnt know she was attacked she was confused as to how she was bleeding. The main thought going through her head right now was 'why am I bleeding?' The vampire that had attacked this poor human had been careless, tactless and stupid but the vampire would never know that his midnight snack was about to become a predator.
"Help me!
She pleaded to the crowd around her, all of which seemed to look at her oddly some even ran and screamed but no one offered to help her apart from one. She knew the face.
Pretty lady with the amazing face cream that she tried to mug.
Ironic, that your saviour happened to be the one you attacked.
Nishie moved I'm Every's direction, a bloody hand clamped around the others forearm. The drunken slurs continued some unable to be heard, and the rest were mutters. Nishaa's skin slowly growing cold, she'd lost a lot of blood it was obvious.
The brunette in front of her lifted a phone to her ear, as if she was calling someone. As she calling the ambulance, god Nishie hoped so.
"I didn't... Mean to try to mug..."
No.
She remembered something, this woman had attacked her in turn. She had done something her mind was hazy when trying to remember but she remembered SOMETHING, and then she was automatically on the defence. She grabbed her pocket knife ( which she happened to be carrying! ) from her trouser pocket and pointed it in Every's direction.
"You did something to me! You did... I can't remember what..but you did it!"
Nishie wobbled on her feet but kept her golden stare on the woman, she wanted to remember what the other did to her, but the images came to her broken and fragmented but in this case she was listening to her gut, and her gut was telling her to scream monster and run away.

Re: i'll be your headache. [evee]
It would be just her luck that the ***** that had attempted to mug her two weeks needed help. There had been a cut on the back of her neck afterwards, and when she’d told Kyrian about it, his reaction had been amusing enough to make her feel better about the situation. The alley had provided enough darkness to contain the sight of her black blood out of the woman’s sight and as she thought back on it, Every wondered exactly what Nishaa remembered.
Hopefully, very little.
She held up her hands as Nishaa came near her, showing that she meant no harm as she lowered the limbs to tuck her cell phone away after she spoke the street name into the phone to keep up the charade. “It’s going to be okay.” Which that would be depending on the woman’s view and cooperation, if she attacked first.
“I know, you needed the money.” She could feel the coldness and the scent of life rolled over her, Every’s mouth lightly watering as she gently led the woman out of the crowd and away from people. She didn’t want an audience, personally preferring small groups because it made her feel more comfortable.
Things would turn sour as Nishaa removed her pocket knife, Every’s eyebrow lifting as they soon would find themselves alone. People fled quickly at the sight of the knife, screaming for help as the brunette remained calm. “Oh look. You don’t have the butter knife anymore.” She meant the kitchen knife from the prior meeting.
Her hazel eyes rolled at Nishaa’s words. She made a mental note to try and strength the trance the next time she’d use it to feed as she lifted her gaze to the starry sky for a few moments in debate. Should she act like the harmless victim, scream and plead for her life? The idea of her sire walking around the corner and seeing caused her to die inside of embarrassment, let alone anyone that she knew in Tytonidae.
“Look miss, you need to remain calm. You’re losing a lot of blood.” She spoke slowly, acting as if she actually cared and moved to take hold of the knife. She kept eye contact with the other female, waiting as she watched her movements.

IT’S GOING TO BE OKAY.
Yeah, right. Nishie scowled at the woman, the blade wavering in her grasp its blunt tip (the woman didn’t know it was blunt did she?) made sure the woman stayed away from her, her gut telling her to run - - over and over again her mind screamed at her and Nishie wobbled on the spot was that the loss of blood, or the fact that she was probably as drunk as a skunk.
Heh, either one worked really.
Nishaa noticed the woman in front of her was looking at her like she was a piece of – wait, was her mouth watering? - - oh **** man. This girl was C R A Z Y. Call the crazy handlers or some ****.
Butter knife.
The woman looked at her small pocket knife and raised an eyebrow her free palm pressed against her neck she removed it then, the blood slowly oozing down her neck the blood had stopped bleeding profusely but it was still going, but slower.
”Your crazy.”
The woman in front of her turned into a rather large looking bunny. Nishaa had to blink and shake her head to get the image out of her head. Nishaa was hallucinating at the blood loss. The hallucinations appeared in her phobia’s.
Yes, Nishaa was afraid of rabbits. (THEY WERE SCARY.) So cute and fluffy - - they could kill you whilst your were sleeping they wouldn’t even suspect the cute and fluffy bunny rabbit.
”Don’t hurt me mrs bunny rabbit. I’ve been a good girl. I promise”
Course she had been.
YOUR LOSING A LOT OF BLOOD.
”I’m losing my marbles.”
Was her indignant response, slurry and wobbling.

Re: i'll be your headache. [evee]
She was dying.
And Every found it amusing that the woman that had tried to mug her weeks ago was now at her mercy.
Digging a handkerchief from her pocket, the brunette offered it to the other woman with a frown, “Keep pressure on the wound. Put your knife down, because I will knock you upside the head if you stab me again.” She gave the woman a slight glare. It was a promise, not a threat.
Once she was close enough, Every stopped moving, allowing the other female to choose what was going to happen next. When she was called crazy, her eyebrow lifted with amusement crossing her features. What was that saying, the pot calling the kettle black?
It was a miracle that she didn’t begin laughing.
“Speak for yourself.”
She responded lightly. Every wasn’t crazy. Unstable on certain occasions? She would accept that. After all, she had murdered all but Michael. With her movement, she felt the dogtags that had been tucked beneath her shirt brush against her skin and give a light jingle.
Michael.
Pulling at her lower lip with her teeth, she pushed away all thoughts just in time to hear the other woman call her... Mrs. Bunny Rabbit? That was new. She shook her head, thinking the woman had probably escaped from a mental asylum. That would explain why she needed the cash, right? The only asylum, though, that Every knew of was the one in the Quarantine Zone. She’d have to ask Micah about it later.
“I’ve been a good girl, I promise.”
She doubted it.
The woman was someone that she didn’t know, but, Every was drawn to the female – something about her, at least. That was twice they ran into each other and she was someone that didn’t really believe in coincidences, she felt it was a sign.
“Do I really want another childe?”
She found herself wondering that as she stared at Nishaa, debating between simply letting her choke on her own blood or bleeding out, or adding another member to the Andras line. The last one, she knew, had been a mistake. An impulsive turning. One side of her, the side that was still hurt and distrusting to most, didn’t.
She’d been called a bad sire, insulted and disrespected. That side still wanted to cut Hadrian into little pieces and watch them turn to ash before making a final blow that would send him to the Shadow Realm. Every wasn’t peaceful when she was hurt – and she had been hurt and pissed off.
In fact, if someone could make her smile, they deserved a gold medal.
The other part of her, the lonely side, did want another chance to sire someone.
Every hadn’t told anyone that, not Lia, not Micah. There were a few people that disowning Hadrian had hurt her deeper than she let on. The brunette let out a small sigh, eyeing Nishaa with a curious expression. The female confused her, a lot.
“I’m losing my marbles.”
Not even Micah’d be able to stop the retort that escaped her lips.
“You had some to begin with?”
The surprise that crossed her features had been mocking, trying to get the woman to become irritated enough to attack her. Every debated on offering the chance to turn, but if she ran screaming, she’d kill the woman without any hesitation.

Re: i'll be your headache. [evee]
Nishaa looked at this woman in front of her with those golden, yet curious irises. The woman hunkered over and withdrew something, a handkerchief – she offered it to Nishaa, and the woman took it, the material soft against her rough palm.
”Thanks.”
She mumbled, before pushing the clean handkerchief to her neck and keeping it there, her fingers already becoming moist from the clotting - - yet she still kept it there and allowed her eyes to drag back to the female, curious as to why she was here. It took Nishaa a moment of weariness to put the knife on the ground. She skewered the other with her stare. She felt naked without her blade, and after being attacked - - the woman was asking her to drop her weapon?
C R A Z Y – L A D Y.
Yeah.
Nishaa switched positions then, her neck becoming uncomfortable, iratble. What if that guy who bit her had RABIES? - - Nishaa’s eyes opened wide. Oh god, she was going to have rabies.
”Speak for yourself.”
The woman mimicked Every’s voice in a higher pitch. People didn’t seem to believe that the woman was insane, crazy and obsessed with death, she’d killed her fair share of people. She sacrificed them to Lucifer, and perhaps even now - - this was her reward. Death. If she was going to die now, right now. There was not one thing she’d regret.
The woman’s mocking features turned serene, and somewhat peaceful choosing to ignore the woman’s latest insult towards Nishaa, she looked to the cloudy sky above as rain drops began to fall, dropping against her pale skin.
”I’m ready.”
She said in reference to being ready for death to embrace her. If lucifer wanted her, lucifer could have her.
"There is too much blood."
She said in a calmer tone of voice.
”Thanks.”

"There is too much blood."
She said in a calmer tone of voice.

Micah was going to kill her, or at least lecture her strongly about her decision, but as Every watched the woman carefully, she waited until the knife was down. Nishaa seemed to listen to her even if she did give her a little bit of lip from time to time. All else fails? She could always shoot or stab the female until she learned if she survived the turning.
“You’re welcome.”
She watched the female’s eyes open wide, and Every carefully kept her expression clear of anything but concern. When she was mocked, the brunette lifted an eyebrow idly.
“Well, isn’t that attractive.”
Stepping forward and taking advantage that the woman had dropped her blade, Every adjusted to push her gently by the shoulder closer to the wall. Feeling the rain on them, she found the situation amusing.
Especially, when Nishaa had said that she was ready.
Every smirked and allowed her lips to pull back with it as her fangs slid into place, the brunette studying the woman’s features curiously. After her time, the sensation of retracting them had ceased to bother her months before.
She wasn’t surprised to see that the woman had seemed to give up.
This would be interesting.
“It’ll be over soon.”
Every moved forward once more, the handle of her sword becoming visible as her jacket pulled away with her movements. All she’d have to do was drain a bit more of Nishaa’s blood and then push some of her own down the woman’s throat.

Isn’t that attractive she mocked, and Nishaa took the time to raise an eyebrow at the woman her calm features portraying shock. Nishaa took the time to stick her tongue out the woman in a very unattractive way before coughing, sputtering a bit of blood from her pale lips. The woman had lost a lot of blood and she needed to go to the hospital, the colour had drained from her face. She staggered a bit then, holding onto the wall for support her head shaking from side to side fighting off a wave of nausea.
It took her a moment to stablise herself, and push herself off the wall she brought her golden stare to look at the female.
”How far away is the Ambulance?”
The comment was curious, care free but Every was pushing against her, holding her against the wall and Nishaa couldn’t get away from the woman. She shook and wriggled against the womans’s grasp. Her eyes flickered down to briefly see the hilt of the Every’s sword.
Nishaa had taken lives before, panic took over and what happened next, well this crazy ***** had brought on herself. The free hand grabbed the hilt taking the blade from the woman’s waist. The metal was cool to the touch.
”I’ll stab you.”
She threatened, nothing happened. Time froze and the two women stared at each other, Every didn’t move away from her and Nishaa, who always did as she said she would brought the blade to the woman’s stomach and pushed, and she pushed hard. The crunch of the skin, the scent of iron in the air and the shocked features of the vampire in front of her. She leaned her body against Evee’s then so her lips were close to her ears.
”I said I would, sugar tits.”
She pulled back then, the metal of the blade escaped the woman’s belly she dropped the blade and ran, she ran as fast as she could away from the woman. She ran in the direction of the hospital, blood still slowly pouring out of her neck.

Re: i'll be your headache. [evee]
She knew that she needed to hide her sword in another place, it was too easily accessed for those that wanted to attack her, but Every never assumed that she’d find herself stabbed by it. At least, not when she needed to feed. “Ambulance? You actually thought I called one?” She let the smirk played across her features as she wanted Nishaa carefully.
“I’ll stab you.” Every managed to not roll her eyes.
It wasn’t until she found her blade in her gut that she even considered the female a threat, and as the shock crossed her features, it was more so the fact that her black blood would be seen that time. She couldn’t hide it immediately. She had no retort to being called sugar tits, at least, she didn’t at that moment. She waited until Nishaa moved to fall to her knees.
Anger soon replaced her shock, and with a swear escaping past her lips, she healed the wound before collecting her sword once more and teleported herself directly into Nishaa’s path. Hazel eyes flickered dangerously as she felt her fangs into view, her blade shining in the dim light until her black blood stopped that appearance and with a cruel smirk, Every inclined her head faintly.
“Now, now. Are you going to be a good little ***** and die quickly? Or should I teleport you out to the wilderness, where no one can hear your screams?”
It was her choice, that much was clear as Every wiped off her blade, completely blocking the woman’s path and then tucked it away for the time being.
She wouldn’t need it.
