Re: Site Slowdown and Downtime Reports
Same here. Very slow loading at 10:03 am, EST. After 10 minutes I decided to come back later as the load time did not increase.

Re: Site Slowdown and Downtime Reports
time 5:25pm PST for about 5 minutes.
Got nothing with IE or Firefox, no messages, no blank screen, just page never loading for both grid and game. Closed windows and reopened and it was fine. So might have been just an issue with me but usually when that happens I at least get that message; "URL is taking too long to respond yadda yadda"
Editted to correct time, typo.

I've streamlined the dailies and sunrise code so that it shouldn't make the entire site lag anymore. We'll still get occasional problems obviously, but I found a way to cut down the database queries by an absolute ton.

Re: Site Slowdown and Downtime Reports
So, ALL OF MY WAT. The site took a dive these past ~20 minutes, since roughly 2:40 am GMT, until around 3 am. The forum is still being all weird and not loading properly.
Until now, the message I got while trying to load the game was: Connection refused: www.mooncalfstudios.com:80

Re: Site Slowdown and Downtime Reports
At 8:30 pm est, last night all I got was a white screen. After about 15 minutes got the version of the site with no graphics - then at 9:00 pm est the site was starting to show graphics but would not finish loading and eventually the page was not found.
9:15 pm est it was loading slow, but at least the page was staying there.

Re: Site Slowdown and Downtime Reports
It took some time before it was working correctly. I know it was lagging like hell for the longest, but I wasn't looking at the clock or anything, so I couldn't know for how long. I know on the grid, when I moved, sometimes I'd get the page saying that I couldn't connect to the server, then other times it'd work a little, then it'd go back to saying it couldn't connect to the server. I think the forums only did it once, but mostly the forums were laggy as hell.
