Let me be the only one, to keep you from the cold

It has been so long since I have written in a journal. But I find myself giddy like a child and feel a need to express myself. For so long I have waited for Jack to return to me. I walked the streets helping young ones in need hoping to hear that he had returned. My nights were lonely and sadness was my only companion. That is until a young man entered my life.

He and I have crossed paths of course but it wasn't until recently that we spent time together. Lordy the man made me feel alive. He is such a wonderful man. Well mannered and he was named well. Yes my dear diary, the man is every bit an angel! I am blessed, so very blessed to have this man feel the same about me. But I must be cautious. I can not express my inner feelings so boldly in public. I am a lady after all. It would be most improper for me to skip around and giggle like a school girl. Even if it is how I feel about him.

I intend to introduce him to Cai soon. My sweet boy is very protective over me and I do not want him to cause harm to the man. My sweet Cai. Always worried about me. But I believe he will be very happy when he sees how happy I am with this wonderful man. I must end this for now. My suitor waits for me. I am to go shopping with him.
